Excellent company from my experience. We signed up for service about a year ago, during a time when we had a black widow infestation. The first service came quickly and the black widows were dead and gone equally quick. The product they use is kid safe. We no longer have pests of any kind and are very happy with their services and product. Every few months the technicians are scheduled to do routine maintenance treatments. Almost never do we see a bug of any kind. If we do, you just call and explain the type of pest and they come out within a day or two and clean everything up good and true. I had a good experience despite the awful circumstances of termites in my crawlspace. The only issue I had was with the clarity of the communication. It turns out I did a lot of extra work and damage to my deck that was unnecessary because it wasn't clearly explained to me what kind of prep I had to do before they came to treat. The other communication issue was the description of the eradication service provided; I either mis-understood or the process was described differently than what happened. I would suggest that anyone getting a quote have them explain it to you in graphic detail, even if you feel like you're asking a stupid question. Like a few people on this review list I had the unfortunate pleasure of interacting with a highly aggressive salesman. He didn't understand the word "no". He also decided to come back the day after I told him NO know which was just plain dumb. This was a complete waste of my time and absolute disruption of my day. Obviously the complaints made by several people in the past 6 months to a year has not been heard or acted upon by the owner, supervisor or management. We called Pointe out for a possible rodent issue. They came out and gave us a quote for this as well as ongoing control for insects. We had been discussing getting a reasonable pest control. Our had had been a battle for me and it was time to get professional help... big black carpenter bees making out home theirs!! My security cameras recorded people from this company walking around my porch and looking in windows. They never knocked on the door or rang the doorbell. I have called this company twice and was always told a supervisor would call me. Still waiting. Not a good business practice to trespass on private On 12/26 someone from the company contacted me and addressed my concerns. Also, the owner contacted me. Very impressed with this company! Shane was very professional, and watching out for our pets best interest, which means a lot to us. Had our first treatment last month, today a follow up treatment. I had a door-to-door salesman come and offer their services. My mistake for letting him continue to talk, but hey, they have a tough job. Anyway, I never got the things he was offering. He said they'd seal off my crawl space vents to prevent rats from getting in. After I signed up for their ant/spider pest control he then said I had rats too so they'd have to treat for rats first before sealing the vents which would then cost more. Then he said, actually, the first vent is free and subsequent ones would cost more. I was upset at this point and just told him to go away and I never wanted to talk to him again. I almost cancelled the service at this point, but decided to just keep it for the year I signed up for. He also said they'd treat around my shed, which I don't think they ever did. The ant/spider control worked ok. They treat every three months. Ants start showing up at around 2.5 months so I either had to treat myself, or have ants for a week or two before they show up. Then two out of the four treatments the ants didn't go away. I called the first time and they came and treated again. The second time I just treated myself because I didn't want to call them back. When I use Amdro myself it lasts for almost a year and costs much less than the $45 a month I was paying them. read more

We've had our third treatment and all is good. We had a bad problem with ants and haven't had a problem since we started using their service. Only two demerits--the first is that they called several days in advance but never gave us a time as to when they'd be at our home. The second, and more serious, is the person who sprayed did not wear a mask. Even though he never came within 10-15 feet from anyone, the person should have worn one. read more

At first Pointe Pest Control seemed great, friendly and attentive. But once we signed up and got going with our service, that all changed. Their customer service is horrible, trying to get a hold of someone is impossible. Sure you can get a hold of their answering service but good luck getting any one to respond to you needs. 5 calls over a month and no response "zero" I asked to speak to a manager and they never responded. Truly cannot recommend this company at all. It's a shame because I was referred to them and am extremely disappointed in this company. read more

First off, we also have No Soliciting sign visible on our door. Didn't matter as others on here have stated. Rang doorbell at 7:30pm. Wasn't expecting anyone that late in the evening. Went over to front blinds to catch a glimpse of who might be calling. Well I guess he noticed motion inside and proceeded to knock loudly on our window glass. Thought that quite odd, but perhaps it was someone we knew. So I opened the door and immediately thought it was postal delivery service because of the uniform and clipboard. So I said "Hi" and he started into his spiel and I noticed there was no package and he was with some company. Not sure if he identified that or his name until later. Asked many questions about bugs. In neighborhood offering half-price special. I read the name Pointe on his ballcap. I explained that we rented and it would be up to the landlord to pay or provide service. He went on undeterred, and for a moment I wondered if our landlord sent him over? But no, that wasn't right. He wanted to do a perimeter sweep, which I didn't feel comfortable with, as both sides have locks to keep out backyard trespassing. Almost got the sense he wanted to come inside, but he didn't say that. It was difficult to hear through our storm glass door, which I'm glad was up and not the screen, because he was not wearing a mask nor respecting a 6 ft. distance in this COVID-19 environment. I said I would need to discuss with landlord before doing anything. I'm not sure what he was expecting me to do after that. I asked if he could leave a pamphlet or business card, of which he had neither, just laminated pages of bug types. Many things were odd and unprofessional about this interaction. He finally left and I wondered if he was just a fake and casing places? His uniform was brownish like UPS, not green like what's on the website I saw later. I think he said his name was Jerry? Before leaving. Next day, as my wife and I were driving back from store, going down next street over we saw what looked like same guy (plus another) at front door of another house, looking in windows and casing the front porch! What in the world is up with looking into people's windows? Very rude and unprofessional. Came by again to our door later that same day, rang bell twice in quick succession. Why?? Why return so soon after I said No last night? Saw him on camera and just ignored until he finally left. If he comes by again I think we will call the police. Really unprofessional behavior. Tell me I'm wrong?? I would never get service from Pointe after this experience. Is this how they train their techs? Sure seems like that with several similar reviews on here. read more
