I've used Pointe Peat Control for several years for ants and one time for damp wood termites. They always provide an honest response- (damper wood termites for example can be eliminated by removing the source, or wood. This time I had one or more rats. They baited for them. I had a stink in my basement crawl space so I thought one died in there. Turns out there was Irvine and feces that caused the smell. While I was away and with permission, Daniel removed the affected insulation, even though that was probably outside his scope. I never get invoice found out price went up from person who came out. This is wrong. Disappointed with the service to 2 of my properties. Technician did not contact any of the 4 tenants at the properties (all of whom were home waiting for his visit) and did not inspect or treat the interior of the property. I have tried for several days to talk to someone on the phone but just remain on hold indefinitely. I finally sent a detailed email to the email address shown on the agreement letterhead which was returned with the message that this email account has not been set up to receive emails, so I do not know how to contact anyone at this company. After carefully checking the website I cannot find any other way to contact the company to discuss resolving my concerns. I am not able (or willing) to spend hours waiting on hold on the phone, hoping that someone will eventually answer the call. read more

Can't rate them on the quality of their services because they never showed up. I made an appointment to have a consultation to see if they could take care of a wasp nest up in the eaves of my 2 story house. I let them know that I'm allergic and they were finding a way into my main bathroom so I needed it taken care of quickly, if possible, as my previous pest control provider was unable to take care of it due to height liability. They said that it shouldn't be a problem but they want to come out and do a consultation first to make sure there weren't any additional problems from the nest that might require a contractor. My appointment time came and went with a no show from the provider. I called and left a message for both the technician and the company with no call back. If you can't do the job just say so. read more

We can't seem to catch a break with high quality pest control. Point recently serviced our house for spiders, wasps, and other pests. I had an issue with a few of their first services as they were not thorough leaving many places untreated. Spraying around the surface ground perimeter is easy but your techs say they "de-web" and take down wasp nests and then realizing there were webs even at ground level and nothing had been touched under the eves I am starting to question if this company knows what they are doing. Attached a few photos. I am really disappointed with Pointes lack of thoroughness and performing what they said they did. I have used several Pest Control services in the past. In the end, it comes down to the technicians as well as the company policies. On my last service, Haillee and Zoey did a thorough job and were personalble. The larger companies seem to increase prices regularly and it gets out of control. I would rather do business with a small regional or local company than the big players. I came to Pointe on a recommendation. I see a lot of complaints about canvassing. I can say that every pest company (and their brother) has been at my door (along with the window guys, solar, cable, and the like). I would not put down Pointe for this. read more

The technician locked my gate and I could not get in to the back door of my home. Very inconvenient. The technician was not able to get into my house and spray because I was not home. I'm a new customer to Pointe Pest Control, and I've had one great experience, and one horrible experience. The first worker that came out was Forrest - and he was fantastic! He was very nice - very knowledgeable, and did a great job! The next guy that came out was Derek, and he was horrible! He was supposed to come out and clean up an empty hornet nest with nothing in it. He couldn't even do that. He came out and destroyed half the nest and left it broken up all over my driveway. Then snuck off without checking with us and showing us the mess he left behind. The other half he left under the eve of my roof that I had to go out on my ladder and clean up myself. If I could give him a negative 1 review, I would, because he left things worse than they were before he came. From now on, Forrest is the only worker I'm going to allow at my house! read more

Recently had the opportunity to meet several staff from Pointe Pest Control- didn't have an emergency, but was interested their services- Bryce was the initial contact that explained their programs and how they conducted the process. We have had Pointe back to our house twice now. I've woken up with spider bites post visit a couple times now and am just so upset. I found a spider in my husbands office yesterday morning, a different kind of spider in my bathroom, and just now, found a sack of ladybug eggs and babies in our kitchen!!! Eek! I purchased their services because they came to my door and made me aware of several active wasp nests under the roof eaves so, naturally, I was like, um hell yeah get rid of those! We paid the $100 or so for the yearly plan and I was honestly super happy he showed up. He was a very very sweet kid and we were happy to have the bugs gone... But, they're not gone! I'm pretty sure it's worse than ever! We have central air so it's not like our doors or windows are EVER open. They have no entrance points that we can find but somehow they're coming in and whatever they "sprayed" (water???) didn't do jack. I'm now on the hunt for a good pest control company, I guess. So bummed we are living with bugs and out $100. read more

Matthew did an awesome job. I couldn't be home for the service this time around. Talked with Matthew on the phone and let him know that we have three friendly dogs that might greet him in the backyard. Matthew came to our house and respectfully entered our backyard and completed the entire service while petting and playing with our dogs. All the all caught on security cameras. I heard sounds in my walls that indicated I had a rodent problem. I am so glad that I found Pointe Pest Control to manage this problem. Kyle has been coming every week to go through my crawl space to set and check traps and install the exclusion screens. Kyle is always punctual and thorough and takes time to brief me on the progress. They do not honor their 12 month contract. I finished my final quarterly service and told them I would not be reviewing. I still had a month left on my contract at that time. I requested a reservice a week before my contract was up and they refused to retreat and told me my contract is only until the last quarterly service, but my contract does read 12 months. I still had pests AFTER they reserviced it, so I went and bought my own stuff, for $10, and solved the issue myself! It was raining pretty good but he still performed the job completely. He even brought our garbage can back up to the house since they picked up when he was here. We are new to Washington and had a flea problem that we thought was in the rug and yard. So we called Pointe Pest Control for someone to come out. I spoken to a very nice woman that said someone will be calling that same day. I received a call from Daniel Pretzels and he was at my house within an hour. He was very professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. He explained how fleas go through the cycle of life and told us we didn't have a problem we just need to put a pet collar for fleas and the problem will go away. He explained after checking our rug, pets, yard that we didn't seem to have a problem, like others he has taken care of. He could have charged us with lots of cost but didn't. He talked about the year-round service and how he will be out if the problem doesn't go away. I told him he would be the only person we will call.
