I reached out to Pacific NW Pest Control since they are locally owned and had good reviews. They were so quick in responding to my inquiry and was able to have them come out as soon as possible. The technician who came to my home was so professional and informative. He was able to explain what was happening in a way I would understand, and was nonjudgmental to the anxiety I had about situation. He used two steps in extermination, and since then I have not heard any evidence of rodents! They plan to come back in two months to refill bait stations and check things out which is so comforting! read more

Spent all night up with my poisoned doggo. Vet confirmed it was secondary poisoning from Bromadiolne. When I reached out to PNW and explained we can't use that poison. They said sorry no refunds. Very un professional. And I did ask prior to service if my pets could be hurt. Don't trust these ppl. read more

Horrible Service! Did not do any of the work that they charged me for, and BEYOND OVERCHARGED ME! They knew that I was disabled, and unable to crawl under the house to check their "WORK"! they did an AWFUL Job, HALFASSED!! when I contacted their office, the manager refused to refund my money, or take responsibility for their patheti, GARBAGE "work"!! First visit was good. The technician was professional and did a good job. Second visit, a different technician came to restock some outdoor rat bait stations and left one of the lids open. My dog got into it and is thankfully OK, but also, what kind of company doesn't close the bait stations? When I spoke to Roland (the owner) he apologized and told me he'd speak to the technician. He did not offer a refund for the second visit or to even come out and restock the stations and ensure they were all closed/working properly. 600 ish dollars later, and dog barf all over the house, I cannot recommend this business. read more

Be aware if the bait and switch ... I write this reviews as I'm watching a rats sitting in my deck eating what is left of out evening crums from out BBQ . This is after I hired this company and paid $300.00 for their services . It all states like this ... I kept hearing a rat in our crawl space , we have had a issue off and on for a while since my neighbors kept chickens for a while . The neighbors got rid of the chickens so I figured it was time to bring in some professional. I tried all the store stuff and it didn't work , even the alarms that are supposed to hurt the ears and scare them off . Rats are smart and when one dies then all figure it out and stop eating e poison . I called around and this company has the $99.00 dollars special but I was immediately sold in a $298.00 dollar upgrade . With stations outside and a follow up visit to check the bait traps in a month . Sold I want there Rats gone . I asked if they will eat their poison because rats are smart. " Oh of course our poison is commercial straight and they are dead in contact " cool . Nice fiendly guy comes out gets in the crawl space to investigate the situation . I told him I heard them under my deck there at holes that are in the dirt you can see them . I also have heard some under the house . The guy didn't care about my deck he went under the house where he immediately found evidence of rats dropping some in the insulation . Came up and gave me the old "bait and switch " With the 5 step eliminations proses . 1. Put out the bait come back and come back and check the bait 2. Spray foam sealer on the holes to stop rats from going under the house , they use "The Good Stuff " $4.99 a can $50.00 a hole x 2 =$100.00 Really $100.00 bucks ? Went and got a can a sprayed the holes in it took about 2 minutes and used about 10% of the can . 3.Spray diluted ammonia under the house (a $5 dollars product ) Another $250.00 dollars ) Ok got a garden sprayer and did the crawl space $30.00 total cost 4. Step 4 rip out all insulation in crawl space and replace $4000-6000 . What ?!!!! No . 5. Buy the yearly package to come back and check the bait stations and refill the bait every 3 months . $300.00 buy 3 months get the 4th for free that will cover me for a year . Ok I said let's see how this visit goes and when you come back if there has been activity at your bait stations . The guy did to bait stations around the house , and tossed in 5 more rat poisons under the house . When I say tossed in I mean that he opened the crawl space door and tossed them in , not purposely placing them around in different spots . I figured OK I'm not the rat expert . Maybe they will find this fine rat poison anyway . One month goes by , rat in crawl space dead we can spell it and we haven't heard anything . He was trapped in there with no way out because we filled in the holes with foam. Checked he didn't not eat any of the rat poison down there died from being trapped with no way out . The same guy returns to check the baits boxes outside . I said you know what "let me go with you and see what has happened " He goes outside opens the bait box , Nothing !!!' None for the bait had been eaten . Ok that's box one . Let's check the other box . Same thing , nothing !!! The rats has not touched their poison, the guy takes all the bait and outs fresh bait out . I'm thinking there is one rat or two they are Gone . No they are all still here living happy under my deck not interested in the poison all att that's 2 feet from the hole . I asked some of my neighbors , some had the same bait box from their exterminator pest control companies that came out . Gee I wonder if these neighbors rats are on to the poison and are two smart to eat it . Just like I asked the guy at the start of our conversation , when I was told that they have professional straight poison and it gets rid of rats . Don't waste your money with this company and don't fall for their quick Bait and Switch" They are a complete rip off ! read more

After trapping/killing six rats in my backyard in a week my wife said to get an exterminator. Called Pacific NW yesterday; was given an appointment for today. The rep was very polite and super knowledgeable. He found extensive evidence of a rat infestation in my substructure along with an active burrow under the foundation. He said that there is currently a tidal wave of rats in Portland right now; #3 worst for rats in the country. He sprayed disinfectant in the substructure, and he put poison bait in the substructure and two bait stations outside my townhouse. I give Pacific NW Pest Control a review. I was having a sudden problem with ants in my pantry. I called PNWPC for a consultation. With his many years of experience, Roland treated the pantry for ants. We further discussed ongoing pest control maintenance at my request. He treated the house inside and outside. There were no more ants within a couple of days and it's been several weeks and still no ants! He even called back to check in on my ant problem and to make sure I was satisfied with the service.
