Frankly they do an incredible job. Partly because Dennis has a lifelong career of being in the clothing business - from manufacturing to fabric care. When it comes to how to handle a garment, a stain , a whatever - he knows exactly what needs to be done. It's been a part of his daily life for 50 years. He also does the little things that delight his customers like: Always finding and removing spots (without my having to point them out) Collar protectors for dress shirts, so the collars don't get flattened or out of shape Folding sweaters perfectly on hangers so the necks don't stretch Tying the garment hangers together so I can easily hold them when taking home. Dennis really understands customer service and the staff takes pride in their work. Most dry cleaners if you arrive before 9, they can get it done the same day. I was promptly told that their cut off is 8. Ok...no problem. Mind you I walked in with an arm load of clothes. I than asked if they could make an exception for this one suit. Everything else wasn't needed. The woman took it reluctantly and said it would be extra. Ok rush job...extra. Ok. She than said "$20...cash only" Really? In looking at your card machine. "Rush job...cash only" What is she the Cleaners Nazi (like soup Nazi from Seinfeld). I actually thought I must be getting Punk'd. I return to pick up my suit and I wanted to make sure I was clear on the payment method. As I was looking at a fully operation card machine. She and her husband (I'm assuming) said yes cash only for rush jobs. I promptly paid them and let them know I wouldn't be returning. That was poor customer service both in their tone of voice and putting stipulations based on a "rush job." His response was "Ok...we don't need you to come back". You don't have to tell me twice. I'm new to the neighborhood. They won't be getting my family's business again. By the way, they wouldn't get any stars, but I had to give them one to post this.

I came here yesterday to wash my clothes and witnessed one of the most unprofessional and alarming…read morecustomer service situations I've ever seen in any business. Another customer calmly told the worker that the machine she was using did not have hot water. Instead of offering help or a solution, the worker (who I believe is the owner) became very rude and aggressive. She said, "Do you want me to take it out?" and then proceeded to physically remove the woman's clothes from the machine, causing water to spill all over the floor. What should have been a simple customer service issue turned into a heated argument that nearly escalated into a physical fight. The customer asked for her money back and was refused. When the customer left the building, instead of letting the situation calm down, the worker followed her outside and continued to yell. The customer was upset, but she was only expressing her frustration near her car. The worker then shouted things like, "You have no home training" and "You're from the projects." The worker was a white woman, and the customer was an older Black woman. Hearing comments like that in 2025 was upsetting, inappropriate, and absolutely unprofessional. As a Navy veteran, I stepped in to try to deescalate things, because the situation was genuinely unsafe. The worker continuing to pursue the customer outside could have easily led to someone feeling threatened enough to defend themselves. Situational awareness was completely missing. It could have ended very badly. I will not be returning to this laundromat. Beyond poor customer service, there were clear safety concerns and discriminatory behavior. No one should feel unsafe or disrespected while simply trying to wash their clothes.
