I thought they gave a good portion size (got a medium - 3 scoops of protein and couldn't finish, ate the rest for dinner. I would plan to get small next time - 2 scoops protein. I like that the toppings are not restricted and you don't have to pay extra for any, and they also gave us each a free small bowl of miso soup for dining in. I appreciate this because it didn't feel like they were nickel-and-diming us. At the other location we've gotten the hot Cheetos spam musubi before a couple of times and it's always been a hit. Apparently asking for half salad greens and half rice as they advertise means they give you 80 percent of your bowl as rice, zero salad greens and a sliver of the rest of your order. As a regular bowl, the 3 proteins consisted of 4 pieces of slimy fish, a teaspoon of the crab and a few chunks of tofu. The sauce was undetectable and the remaining toppings were hard to find. If I wanted to spend $20 on a bowl of garbage rice and not even what I ordered, I'd go to a fast food joint and actually get a meal. Seriously....this isnt rocket science. Its literally spelled out for you and you dont even have to cook it!! Waste of time, waste of money. Do better. Edited to add...this was a take out order, my husband stopped and picked it up on the way home, which is a 50 minute drive from here. So, not sure how it's going to be corrected "right away". How about just make it right the first time and with better ingredients and quality that makes it worth the $20. read more

Love that you can pick your own bases and toppings and they always seem to come out tasty, so not sure you can go wrong. The sauces and crispy toppings at the end are so on point too! Got some popcorn chicken to go with it, and it was delicious! Try it with some of the cucumber wasabi sauce and the spicy Mayo, so good! My review is a 4.5! I love the recommended options for the food bowls. The food is fresh and they have a variety of options. This is one of the better and freshest poke places I've been to in the area and it'll be my new go to. We also ordered the basics chicken which was so good, but unfortunately too spicy for me to eat the three pieces k ate gave me hurt burn! Would ask for mild if I went again. The drink menu looks delicious and they have a variety of fruity / lemonade/ refreshing drinks. They have a pretty decent size eating area for in person dining but it filled up quick when I was there for lunch on a Friday. The worst place and dinner I've ever eaten and I've been homeless picking from dumpsters. They had us spend 50 dollars for two bowls and two misos. Miso came with nothing but broth and one strand of seaweed floating around. Cold as well. Then the poke bowls . On the bright side, the location is good and the place is very clean. On the other hand, the Poke bowls are just average and, to highlight, where most Poke places let you apply as many add-ons per category, Poke House sort of nickel and dimes you here, charging $1 for each. That can add up to a $19 poke bowl for fairly average fare in a hurry. Poke House has a very friendly crew working there and they are truly helpful with answering questions but I just can't get past the price that doesn't match the value. Top it off that they have a sign that says they will give you 30% off a bowl if you write a review on Yelp and they can verify it but provide no promo to get you through the door via check-in. The whole operation just seems like it's financially struggling and passing it on to you. read more

Solid place for poke with super fresh ingredients! There are quite a few poke places around this area, but Poke House puts up a good fight. I feel like the fish quality is higher than other places and I absolutely love how they have a nachos option as a base. Every poke place should have this option! I might be of the unpopular opinion, but I absolutely detest the contrast of cold fish over warm rice, so this is a huge plus. I had a medium bowl with tuna x2 and salmon x1, mixed with chili ponzu and spicy Mayo. All their ingredients were super fresh and the chili ponzu was very flavorful, but I couldn't taste the spice. The chips are wonton chips fried in-house and just the perfect companion to the fish. Medium bowl wasn't a ton of food, especially without rice, so maybe get the large if you're doing a nacho option. I also ordered a peachy lychee tea and probably wouldn't get it again. Just tasted like regular peach tea with some light lychee flavoring from canned lychee. I'm glad that a poke house has finally opened near me. Compared to a lot of poke places, this is one of the few where it feels like I'm getting a lot of food for what I'm paying for. The small is $11.99 but it comes with so much food that I can't always finish in one sitting. The poke is really delicious and tastes fresh. I love the colors and the different mixins and sauces you can customize it to be. The basil popcorn chicken is a great dish to share as an appetizer with a group. This place JUST opened and I stopped by to check it out. Cute location with some small dining tables. Plenty of parking. Very nice and friendly employees. Prices were good ($13 for regular bowl/ 3 scoops of protein, $2 more for an extra scoop). Protein choices are tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, chicken, shrimp. I think there might be an additional charge if you do anything other than white rice as a base (e.g., brown rice or salad greens). All the toppings and options were labeled pretty well, both on the board and on the glass display, which is great because I hate having to guess what's what. There's an up charge for avocado, which is pretty standard, and also for tofu. They also had crumbled hot Cheetos as a topping, which is unique. The bowls were presented beautifully. I wasn't all that impressed with the flavor of the sauce I picked (I think it was the OG). It just tasted like soy sauce to me and it wasn't enough to really season the bowl at all, so most of it was pretty bland. I think I'd double up on the sauce next time , or mix and match a few to get more flavor. read more

We stumbled upon Poke House once when looking for a quick lunch spot and it's become one of our top places! The space is clean and modern. There is plenty of open seating. The service has always been great! Every team member we've encountered has been kind and helpful if we've had questions. My go to is always a build your own bowl. I have tried all 3 bases: white rice, brown rice, and mixed greens. All great options. I usually get salmon, but have tried their tuna. Every time the fish has always tasted fresh and delicious. My favorite sauce is the OG. They have a good variety of toppings. My partner doesn't love seafood, whether it's raw or cooked, but he loves their house specials. He's tried both the chicken and steak teriyaki. He recommends the sweet ginger sauce as a dressing for the greens. The have a great Thai tea and really good lemonades as well!
