I watched another customer get three packs no problem, but when I asked for the same, I was told the exception was only because they "knew him" and the cards were for his kids (that apparently doesn't matter if they are there or not) to quote what I heard a worker say one-time "doesn't matter if you bring your friends or family and they are there it's still limited to one per person." The next day? The rule was suddenly back in full force for everyone else. So if you enjoy selective policies and a little favoritism with your purchase, this is the place. Otherwise, don't expect fairness -- just a reminder that you're not part of the inner circle.

My partner and I both have alot of hobbies and HobbyTown had an amazing selection of items at great prices. I left with a few Gundam models and Pokemon cards with sets I haven't seen elsewhere. My partner is into dungeons and dragons as well as Warhammer and he left with books, models and a few new game sets. There's a good selection- you won't find everything you want but there's certainly some gems in here. The staff were lovely and helpful. I'd come back here next time I'm in the area.

Finding Conquest Comics was really a defining moment for my family (nerdwise) because the nerd world can be....unwelcoming to women and young kids, but form day one the owners were amazingly friendly, helpful and understanding of a young dad toting his little daughters around who just wanted to see and touch everything at eye level. They may not always have what you came for, but you'll always leave with something you want. We were told they are rare and new collectibles and when we told that to our card guy he said that's a joke we see a lot of them and they are fake. I called on the phone to ask…read moreabout if they had any pokemon 151 sealed products and the woman on the phone said no just singles they have a lot. So I drove 30 minutes to check this place out, my first time walking in the store. I asked them if they had the pokemon 151 singles the woman replied maybe in this book and in the case. I looked but nothing so the owner was with her as well so I asked him where the Pokemon 151 singles were. He said they don't have any....i said I spoke with the woman on the phone and she said you guys have a lot. He said no she didn't she doesn't know. So I said I just drove over here 30 minutes away and you don't have them. He said I can leave and got very nasty. I said really, that's how you treat your costumers. Lieing to them and telling them to leave cause you don't know your inventory and lie to people and just don't care about customers or customer service. I have never seen anyone like that so rude, no people skills, certainly doesn't know how to run a small business. Treating people wrong and insulting them and being rude and telling people to leave, cause you don't like the truth. No everyone need to know how this owner chis is, I asked his name. Trotta's hobbies is trash and very unprofessional and hopefully won't be in business long. To offend people for no reason because of there incompetence is totally gross just like the owner. Must have a misribull life, sad there are people like this. Has no place have a small business or anything. Truly a complete waste of a person and good business. Stay far away from this place. For the community we deserve much better!

I've never actually been to their store, this review is for their website/mail order service…read more I mail order from a lot of different record stores, but Yearbook is one of my favs. 1) Prices are always reasonable, even on rare stuff they beat the discogs avg price. 2) Communication is always top notch, you'll never be left wondering. 3) packaging is quality and secure, you can tell they care. Their default shipping is media mail, so that can be slow, but just ask for faster shipping and they'll handle it. They're a good follow on FB or other social media as they announce live music, listening shows and specials there on a regular basis. I recently picked up a RSD Pink Floyd 1975 live in LA 4 disc set.
