I was going to give 3 1/2 stars but that's not an option. Its also not because of a bad experience. I never had a bad experience there but not all Ollie's stores are the same. I've been to the Toms River, Hamilton, Lawrenceville, and Old Bridge stores. Toms River is my favorite of the 3 and Old Bridge my least favorite. Sometimes I find great deals and sometimes I don't. You do have to know your prices though because there have been items I passed on things due to knowing I could do better elsewhere. They used to have Pantene shampoo often at lowest price anywhere but I haven't seen that in a while. I got a better deal on a brand new Hamilton Beach K-Cup coffee maker there a couple of years back which was cheaper than Amazon and Walmart at the time. Don't go with expectations and just look thru the whole store. I always leave with several items even if they weren't a thought in my mind prior to walking in. read more

The place is run down and dirty looking and the saddest part about it this is supposed to be a fairly new Ollie's This place needs huge renovations and much muchicj needed facelift it's kinda embarrassing. I will say I was highly impressed with sheer amount of different shapes, sizes, styles and textures of area rugs and runners at such affordable prices. Damn, I really love New Jersey. We stopped at Ollies Bargain Outlet a few months ago, and I was impressed with all the stuff you could purchase here. We walked in and bought some food, and some non food items here. I purchased all of my favorite snacks for our hotel room stay. Nice clean and organized store. Nice workers had the patience to help us with store produces we needed. No rude employees. Look like a nice family style outlet store. Best was my cashier Alexis who helped me bag in my reusable that I brought and was patient with me as I found brought up my Ollie's Army member discount on my cell phone. 5 stars for her. Nods to other employees stocking shelves. The mens restroom clean enough too. There is a lot of stuff you can take advantage of good prices. I got Almond milk at 50 percent off. There was also holiday candy. I got protein bar snacks at a good price. Some garlic flavored sausage, my wife and I enjoying today. Also a small case of energy drinks, they have various brands. Coffee sometimes I have bought big cans there. Also bought instant Kung Pao and a shirt that seemed to be a big store brand but cheaper and XL my size. Many more super large and small sizes. It is a bit cluttered in some sections of the store, I just avoid bottle necks with the cart which i have been able to grab every time but once here. read more

We found several items to purchase, but as another fellow Yelper stated, make sure you check the expiration dates on food products. The store is very disorganized, I noticed pet products were in at least 4 different locations. I guess that is because they want you walk around and impulse shop, it's not someplace you'll do your regular shopping. To me, it's the kind of place you might drop in a few times a year. read more

This was a great store when they first opened. Although there are still great bargains here, the store itself feels dirty and disorganized. I've seen open food containers on the shelves, open products, and expired food. There's usually only one or two staff members on the floor who also run the register. read more

Not a fan. These are close out often non-name-brand products that are here in bulk. Products that nobody wanted one let alone twenty of, and yet they are here with like 1% marked off the big box store prices. The aisles are cluttered and dusty, products without price tags, some products still in bulk boxes. Nope. read more

I like the store. But it's very hard to find a staff member to ask questions to as they seem to ALWAYS understaffed. Due to the volume of people. Yes they all are following COVID-19 rules. Went here with my family on 12/31/21. I wish I could give zero stars simply because the cashier, Geraldine along with the manager (I'm assuming) accused us of stealing a huge rug that was handed to me by the supervisor. He began to speak about us after we left, we were notified by a family member who checked out after we left. The supervisor stared at us while we purchased our items and constantly told us how to shop in the store the next time. I'm confused because it's a store and not a boot camp. The bathroom had poop in the toilets, so please if you are the manager do revise your staff, customer service as well as the sanitary measures of the store. I have been a customer of Ollie's for many years and have never experienced such poor treatment from staff.
