Poke Bowl - Regular (2 Proteins)

Super disappointed. I just paid $35 to get pokeworks delivered and I paid extra for more toppings... it was missing so many toppings and the extra sauce on the side that I paid for. DoorDash won't issue me a refund. Stomach empty, money wasted, and now cranky. Annoyed is an understatement.

Bomb Poké Bowl with salmon

Soooo yummy! Wow! Finally, found a legit poke bowl place in Knox! Sashimi was fresh, tons of topping for everyone's pallet and the price was moderate! Score! For lunch, I ordered the 2 protein (Spicy Tuna and fresh salmon). Base: I chose half brown rice and half salad. Sauce: Pokeworks Classic Sauce and Spicy mayo Toppings: Crab Salad, edamame, mango, furikake, shredded seaweed, cucumber, green onions, won tons chips, onion crisps, and added Avocado (highly recommended). If you like sashimi or poke, give this place a try! Recommended for lunch.

If you're a sucker for create-your-own meals & you're craving something light, Pokeworks is a must-have. The menu options are extensive from burrito-sized sushi to bowls and nachos. The price per person is about $12-15 and filled with fresh ingredients. You can order pre-made sushi rolls, other specialties, and sides. I tried Pokeworks on a whim while wanting a light, carry-out dinner and this hit the spot. I'd recommend trying their kale noodles as a base, and you can't go wrong with any of their toppings. The sauces can be heavy, so I'd recommend asking for light sauce with your meal. Finally, the miso soup was ok but had too much green onion. Overall, it's a good bite and I'll definitely be back.

Keto Tuna Bowl with Tractor Certified Tractor Certified Organic Hibiscus

The Keto Tuna Bowl was delicious! I love the cauliflower rice base for this bowl. I hope it stays as a permanent item because it has been my favorite! The Serrano Aioli paired nicely with everything in the bowl. I added edamame and masago to the suggested toppings. Head to Pokeworks to try this before they take it off the menu!

This place is amazeballs! I'm officially jumping on their bandwagon. My friend and I visited this weekend after I read all the great reviews. Our experience was great from start to finish. We were greeted warmly by the two guys behind the counter. They explained every ingredient station as we built our own bowls. They offered samples on everything - from the fish to the sauces. They also recommended a sauce combination based on our bowl choices. You can even try the sodas on tap - everything from a stevia diet cola to coconut, lemongrass and blood orange. The flavors of every element were intense and pleasing. The fish was super fresh. The lotus root was a pleasant new discovery. The kale noodles were wonderful. Plus the owner was there and asked for our opinions of the place and was extremely nice. Go here and try this! Quick! I'll be going back often.

Made my own poke bowl. Delicious!

I'll admit it ... I was dubious about this place, but they won me over with the first scrumptious bite! In case you didn't know (I didn't) poke (po-KAY) is a Hawaiian style sushi-like raw fish meal-in-a-bowl (see why I was dubious?!). They do have vegan / vegetarian options and also fully cooked chicken, and shrimp and scallops. According to my 16 year old it's kind of a big deal on Instagram, so if you're into the hottest thing, that's one reason to give it a try. This restaurant's service model is similar to a Chipotle or Subway where you walk up to the counter, order your base and protein, and then add whatever "toppings" you like to the bowl or "burrito" as you walk down the line choosing the items you want. (More on the burrito in a moment.) There were some unfamiliar items on the menu and in the toppings bins, but I like to try new flavors and textures, so it was interesting and exciting to see so many different and unique choices. They've got something for everyone - paleo options, vegetarian, gluten-free, low carb, whatever your specialty diet is, they've got you covered at Pokeworks. The young staff members on duty helping my mostly clueless family (other than my aforementioned 16 year old, who clearly knows everything), were friendly, patient, and helpful. My younger daughter (14) ordered the Sweet Ginger Chicken with brown rice base. She said her mouth was on fire and she loved it - all smiles and yummy sounds. She's got a super low tolerance for spice, though. I tasted it, and on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being burn-your-mouth hot, it was about a 3-4. It was very good with a noticeable but comfortable kick to it. The older teen daughter ordered the Umami Classic over sushi rice and raved about each bite. She chose to use chopsticks that were provided next to the drink station with the napkins and plastic ware. They also have large bottles of soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil with small cups like other places have for ketchup to fill and bring to your table. My husband ordered what Pokeworks calls a burrito. But it's not served in anything like a tortilla, rather it comes prepared in a sushi-style seaweed wrapper with rice. He ordered an extra serving of protein and chose the ahi tuna with his various topping selections. He's generally a meat and potatoes guy, and he LOVED his poke burrito! I was the last of our family to order because I couldn't quite decide. The young lady helping me said for the first time it's easier to make your own, so that's what I did. I got a combo of sushi rice and brown rice. Then they typically top the rice with crunchy raw sliced cabbage. On top of that was my protein of choice - the ahi tuna. The difference between a regular size and a large size is an extra scoop of protein. So you get two scoops with regular size or three for a large. The bowl itself is still the same size. I added a few veggies, then the Pokeworks Classic sauce. On top of that I tried two kinds of crunchy seaweed, plus a seaweed salad. There are three kinds of caviar to put on top, crispy won ton strips, crispy chopped onions (think funions from the top of green bean casserole but smaller pieces), crispy garlic, and macadamia nuts (for $1 extra). I didn't get all that ... but I could have! I ended my bowl sprinkled with sesame seeds. We are a water-drinking family, but if we weren't they have some good choices, outside of the ordinary. A cooler with more familiar options, a fountain station with a brand I've not yet seen, and several juices to choose from. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect with my first taste, but I hadn't imagined it would be as delicious as it was. Wow. I am totally impressed and completely won over by my poke bowl. Yum. I will absolutely be back! If you're not sure about what this poke thing is all about, give Pokeworks a try. Whether you are on the adventurous side or want to stick with more familiar flavors (you could simply do chicken, rice, avocado, cilantro, and cucumber with a sauce), you will be happy. We were!

I've been really craving a poke bowl from the moment I moved here from California about 6 months ago. I've been holding off because I was hesitant about how fresh the fish would be since there isn't an ocean near by. I'm glad I decided to finally give in and searched for a poke spot in Knoxville on my way home from Nashville. Once I entered I noticed how welcoming and bright this place was, super clean and cute. They have the tables blocked off every other one for Covid and all employees were wearing their masks properly so that was a plus. This was my first time here but I know how it works when ordering you can either build your own or choose something off the menu which I loved that they had an option for that for people not knowing how to build their own bowl. I ended up getting the 3 protein bowl, miso and their garlic musubi. I noticed that some of the bins were empty when I was going down the line so that was kind of disappointing that not everything was fully stocked. They had about 7 employees working and It was just one other couple and me so it wasn't busy. So with that many employees standing around I would expect everything to be fully stocked. Once I got my bowl I noticed it felt pretty light. I'm used to back home where they pack the bowl full, mine barely had any rice in it. I will say the flavors were really good and the fish was fresh! I just wish the fish was a little more chilled though. The miso and musubi was really tasty, I wanted to order another musubi but didn't want to look like a little fatty haha. The employees I encountered were all super friendly and I was glad I stopped in. I will definitely will return when I'm back in the area!

We were passing through Knoxville on our way back to Nashville and decided to grab some poke. This place was conveniently located in a little plaza. We tried two bowls and a sushi-burrito. We loved all three selections. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful in making selections. There was a gentleman sitting in the back. He was either a manager, or an owner (Sean, I believe). Either way, his customer service is what really set this place apart. I HIGHLY recommend you try it, if you're in the area.

Good food and fast service. Gave it 4 stars as the bathroom door handle was broke and my daughter had to watch the door for me.

I liked the sauce on the pork and the sunny side up egg brought a good amount of yolk into the dish. Everything mixed well with the sesame flavored cucumbers and jalapeños. The rice was pretty plain but paired with everything else it was fine. I think I'll try one of the salads or power bowls next time, as they come highly recommended! I also had a bite of the smoked salmon from the power bowl and a bite of the chicken piccata. I normally don't like chicken piccata but the lemon and caper flavor did not overpower and the angel hair pasta was very soft. A bit on the pricier side for a lunch but I enjoyed what I had at Cazzy's. I hear both locations are very consistent as well.

We did not have any drinks but the offerings cover the local, standard and top shelf tastes. The staff is even invited to events to learn about food and drink parings. Lunch was grab and eat. It was very quiet becasue we were well past the lunch rush and before the early dinners. I needed something more than a salad or bowl even though several were tempting. Not always a burger guy, but a bison burger will draw my attention. You don't see bison much in TN. Delicious. Juicy enough I needed an extra napkin. The second reason I chose the burger was for the carrot fries. I don't ever remember having them before or even seeing them. Their good, no reason they can't be a replacemnt to traditional fries and they don't "sag" as much as sweet potato fries. In my case, the kitchen put potato fries on the plate rather than carrot fries. Our server, Daniel noticed it and brought out a separate plate with proper side. Great service there. Another upgrade is that seasoning on the fries. There are several different ones and they differ byt the dish and fry. It was fun to compare the difference on the plate. So, cazzy's is not at diner but a fine gastropub.

It would've been nice to have breaks in between as we could barely hear each other over the loud music and we were sitting quite far from the singer. Ordered the cacio e pepe with shrimp, which I'm not used to having it with shrimp. The shrimp were large and plump, but the cacio e pepe was incredibly dry for my taste. The live music that is there when we have to listen is a really nice touch. Parking is limited right around the building itself, but there is plenty behind it - just keep driving a few more feet, and you'll see it. The service has been generally great, but our last trip was a bit of a miss - I suppose the difference between brunch/lunch and dinner service. I believe part of the reason was that our 2.5 YO kiddo was ruining the vibe for couples (and the staff as well). If you don't want kids there, then say so. And even if you didn't say it with your words, your actions did. Part of this showed up when we were trying to get a high chair for what felt like 5 minutes - I could see i,t and they went to seat others and had us wait...which created squirming and an unhappy kiddo. After this point, all of the ordering we tried to do in this same sitting was met with a mostly poor attitude and delays from not coming over. The food was delayed and was cold. Again, not going to fight for it and have to wait longer with a little with us. We've not been back since this, and I'm unsure we will try again with a kid. Now that this is out of the way, the dinner experience is night and day different - great service, food, and drinks with little to no issues. So, TL;DR - dinner experience 5/5, lunch/brunch experience 3/5, taking the average of 4 for a 4/5.
