Danys was called to repair my dryer at a rental. He said the heating element had burned out, due to…read morethe tenants not cleaning the lint filter and assured me that fixing the dryer was better than replacing it because the older models lasted much longer then newer ones, and that he was replacing all of the parts that could break, leaving the dryer essentially new. I paid him nearly the cost of a new dryer for the repair. Within a few months, the dryer was broken again. He came and replaced a burned out fuse. When I asked if he replaced it in the first repair, he said no. Contrary to what he had communicated previously. Within a month, the dryer broke again. He said it must be a clog in the vent line, and that it didn't make sense to repair the dryer until it was fixed. I paid $350 to have the vent cleaned, and it was not clogged at all. Danys returned to the house to find the issue was the fuse again, but did not have any answers as to why the fuse would blow again. He stopped answering phone calls and texts, and left the dryer broken. To top it off, he spoke with the tenants and created more of a problem. Horrible. I paid him and the vent cleaner more money in repairs than a new dryer would have cost.

The number of scammers in our neighborhood is on the rise so I said no thank you and asked him to leave. Then Bluestar called me to set up a time; when they arrived it was more as I expect from a trusted business: company van, company uniform, business card, etc. Ivan was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He found a coolant leak in my system within minutes, showed it bubbling through leak detector fluid, and wrote up an estimate to repair the leak plus recharge the coolant. With a discount for cash, it was a very reasonable price and I agreed. He went to work right away. About an hour later he'd finished and took me around to inspect what he'd done, explaining everything. This really helped me feel at ease with the quality of the work, and that nothing had been done that wasn't necessary. He even helped show me some things about my furnace that I had questions about, not related to the AC work. Ivan responded quickly, got us repaired quickly at a reasonable price, and left me with feelings of trust and satisfaction. The service guy that came was nice but he did not solve my problem cleaning my dryer vent. He said he cleaned it from the inside of the unit about 8 feet before his air compressor hose stopped. He went outside the building and couldn't locate an exterior vent anywhere. He tried the roof and didn't see anything either. He said it would be an issue because my issue won't be fixed and that it would be a fire hazard. I told him I was not satisfied with the service. He called his manager and the manager said to tell me they completed their job even thought they did not and offer a $5 discount off the $139 charge. Absolutely ridiculous, my dryer still doesn't dry. I do not recommend Delintz at all.

He recommended we buy LG which agrees with most of the expert reviews out there so, we ran over to Best Buy and got a good deal on a new LG washer/dryer set. Greg is on time, he's an expert on this stuff and he's honest, plus he only charged a $49 diag fee (I tipped, that's too low). Highly recommend!
