I am originally from south Florida and attending classes at oxygen has made Augusta feel more like home. I took my first class in October 2020 and since then I have lost 25 lbs. I highly recommend trying different classes and different instructors - they all bring a different experience to each workout. My mental health is so much better when I'm working out at oxygen regularly. I can really tell how I feel when I stop making it a priority. She made me feel welcome and helped me get started, she would gently help me "get it right" throughout the practice, and that made all the difference. The Vinyasa Yoga that she teaches at our gym is really popular, the energy in the room is radiant and it attracts people. I have found that Vinyasa Yoga is hard work. Most of us are not used to working out on such a deep core level. But I am liking the results I see on my body & mind! Been going for 8 months now, so I feel that I really got to know her as an instructor. I like her style, she teaches you to get in touch with your feelings and re-connect with your inner being. What I love about Pure Barre is the low impact technique yet high intensity. I'm able change and strengthen my body quickly. I leave each class in a pool of sweat. It was life changing. I cannot express in words what I experienced during the session or even what I continue to experience afterward. The way that she leads the class allows us as students to feel at home with one another, and to push our bodies as far as we are able to at the time. There is no competition, and we never have to worry about failure, because each of us is at our own level, and Susie caters to all of us effortlessly. Mind Body Stress Reductions is located in the second string of buildings in a business complex on Columbia road. They have massage tables, counseling rooms, and specialize in psychology, hypnotherapy, massage, holistic healing of the mind, and integrative medicine. Needless to say their offices are very relaxing, and the staff that I have met thus far are all gentle souls who are more than happy to help. As a new comer, the staff was welcoming and helpful in ensuring I knew the basics and recommended routes to take that would be beneficial for a beginner and definitely had fun doing so. They also have military, student, or first responder discounts and that includes admissions, shoes, and harness; price was very fair. This place certainly had a wide array of equipment for even power lifting, ninja warrior stations, bouldering walls, and plenty of rock walls. You do have to be certified by them to belay on your own, so I stuck with the auto belay walls; just wish there were a little more selection of auto belay walls. Overall, I had a great time and rather you're a beginner or experienced, highly recommend this place if you're into bouldering or wall climbing.

I do wish the bouldering area was bigger and had more beginner friendly routes but it might be that i'm just really weak lol. The day pass and the membership price are average for climbing, overpriced if you are expecting gym membership price but so worth it if you like climbing. Overall, an amazing place to visit with your family in the Augusta area!

But I wondered, is it worth the fact that it's free? Let me assure you, it is. You walk in to find cardio, and upper body machines (as well as a ping pong table). To the right are two basketball courts and free weights room. Straight ahead are the locker rooms. And upstairs, indoor running/walking track as well as more machines. It is clean, kept up, and offers a good variety of equipment. I also am glad for the option of trading my ID in for a locker key while I'm there. *Insider's Tip -The bike machines have a water bottle holder as well as a dock for phone/other devices. -There is a water bottle fill up station by the stair case. -They offer yoga and a host of other classes throughout the week (and at various times).
