I've spent years in the "trenches" of high-intensity functional training, and I have a very high bar for what makes a fitness program effective. I know what makes a great fitness experience, and I have to say: Orangetheory Fitness in Bend has blown me away. I've been nothing short of impressed since joining, and it's quickly become my go-to spot (even despite also owning a Tonal, Peloton Bike and Peloton Tread at home!). Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting out, this studio delivers a top-tier experience. The PROGRAMMING is smart, science-backed, and incredibly effective - a perfect blend of cardio and strength that keeps things fresh and challenging every single class. It's definitely more cardio-focused than CrossFit, but also with a MUCH lower risk of injury! Also, the fact that I can get my workout in at 6:00 a.m. is great - and having the flexibility to attend a class even earlier than that, or during one of the many classes later in the day is a real bonus, too. But what really stands out is the COACHING. The coaches here are outstanding: energetic, knowledgeable, and somehow able to manage three rotating groups ("3G") seamlessly while motivating everyone, cracking jokes to keep it fun, and jumping in with spot-on form corrections. It's masterful - I've rarely seen that level of attention in a group setting, and can't tell you how hard it is to manage all that effectively. But they most certainly do just that. Special shout out to Coach Stephanie and Coach Sebastian - two of my favorites!!! The STUDIO itself is equally impressive. The EQUIPMENT is in fantastic condition (treadmills, rowers, weights, and even stationary bikes and a stair stepper for those who may be dealing with injury or disability - everything feels new and well-maintained), and the entire place is impeccably clean, from the workout floor to the spotless showers, lockers, and bathrooms. I particularly appreciate that sanitary wipes are set out at each station prior to class, folks are reminded to wipe their equipment down after use, and the room is cleaned by staff between classes in the event someone missed something. The TECHNOLOGY is another major standout: real-time heart rate feedback on the screens keeps you in the zone, and the app tracks your metrics over time so you can see real progress. That layer of accountability and motivation is hard to beat, and unlike anything I've seen elsewhere. Additionally, booking classes is a breeze through the app, and I've even dropped into other Orangetheory studios across Oregon - they're all consistently impressive. On top of all that, the COMMUNITY is incredibly welcoming. Both the coaches and members are friendly and supportive, making it easy to feel like part of the group right away. If you're looking to get leaner, build serious cardio endurance, boost overall fitness, and actually enjoy your workouts, this is hands-down the best choice in Bend. It's fun, effective, and addictive in the best way. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Got there and explained (I was 12 minutes late) and was denied entry. Was told it was for safety reasons which is absurd. Cancelled my membership and was told I had to give 30 days and would be charged another month. I agreed and then was charged an additional month beyond. Went in to talk to them and got all kinds of excuses as to details on when the payment fell in the month so they could charge another 30 days (that is 60+ days of gouging). So petty and definitely a petty money grab to get another $80 out if me.

But once you decide you want to cancel your membership, WAY different story. I cancelled my membership nearly THREE years ago, in winter 2015 (before Fusion ever existed). I did a 'buy out,' what I was told was a one time fee to cancel my membership and be done with it. In early 2018, i notice that both Fusion Fitness and their debt collector had been taking money from my account...for MONTHS. Sometimes twice a month. I cancelled my debit card and didnt pursue it further as it was already giving me a bad enough headache. So now, in October 2018, I get a text message from the gym that says if I come back to Fusion Fitness they will forgive my 'delinquent' account...well the answer to that is a firm NO as I am currently 5 months pregnant with twins and can barely walk around the block. I HAVE no account...I cancelled my membership THREE years ago...and now they are trying to scam me for even more money. Unbelievable. When I went to talk to Bill about it he didn't even have any of my paper documents or financial records from when I was a member available to look at. Save yourself the grief of getting your money stolen and go somewhere else. I learned my lesson and have enjoyed the gym contract-free at Juniper. Will be reporting Bill to the BBB, City of Bend, and City of Bend Police if I have to. Disgusting that somebody like this has a business license. Just read any of the other one star reviews for this business...how many thousands of dollars have been stolen from people who just didn't want a membership anymore?

We have a place in Eagle Crest and I needed to get out and get a few workouts in. In the past I've been to Oregon CrossFit and Central Oregon CrossFit and those places are great but this time I decided to try Triumph mostly because of the location and times available. I'm so glad I did, Joe was very welcoming and made me feel at home. The workouts were great, Joe personally spent some time with me and helped me with some tweaks in my lifts. The clients in the classes were also very welcoming on both occasions. Upon leaving he gave me a big hug and said 'welcome to the family'. Joe is what makes Triumph click. He is upbeat, positive and understands what it takes to make people better. I am grateful to have stumbled upon Joe and Triumph and most definitely will be back to see them when I am in town. Their new facility was poorly built and threw them into not only debt, but an urgency to make money back above all else. They throw people under the bus to protect the "organization" and no longer prioritize people over profit. Disappointed that it has strayed so far from a place of community. I would not recommend a membership here, and would especially not recommend you work here or enroll your children.

To feed its family, or collect as a shiny trinket, I don't know. I wanted a signed guarantee of reimbursement upon checkout, but there was no mgmt present. Initially, I was encouraged by the speed this seemed to be being handled - an email was waiting for me when I got back to town the day of, even if it was extending a cagey "we MAY be able to offer SOME help." But as the office correspondence continued, I was wary the responder kept swapping out, always with no identifying surname - first a Lauren, then a Cortney, then a Heidi. Each time they said they'd be in touch, they weren't. They requested an invoice and did nothing with it. I had to go more than a month without hearing assistance waiting for replacements to arrive. I'd hoped Breitenbush would work out the financials with my audiologist or directly with the manufacturer, but no. I had to re-purchase them. If they weren't under warranty, I wouldn't have been able to afford them. If there's future loss or damages, I'll have to eat the entire cost. But the company clearly doesn't care about that, or me, or the hazards of living unassisted. So I recommend if you are D/HH, DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR BUSINESS.

Within, I want to say the first 2 weeks of classes, it was found that I was originally overcharged for the summer tuition. No big deal. Mistakes happen. My daughter went to the first two weeks and loved it. She is 4 in a 5-7 class, and I had made sure ahead of time (August birthday, so she's always been the youngest) that this wouldn't be an issue. Week 3 comes around and there was a different teacher. Apparently, she had said something to my daughter in front of the other kids that she was too young for the class, and this really embarrassed her. I couldn't get her to go back after that. Which was super disappointing. Lauren (the owner) had called and honestly, she's amazing and if her staff handled things the way she did, I wouldn't be writing this review. I told her what happened, and she offered a refund because we weren't going to use 4/6 weeks I had prepaid for. Again, awesome. Still not worth a review in my opinion. What was too much for me was when after a week I hadn't seen a refund processed. I called and emailed. I was only sent a short email eventually saying, "we have processed your refund and here's your receipt." I said it never came through. Eventually, Paige said if I didn't get it by the next Monday to reach out. When I did, she sent me the same exact email. Not helpful at all. I followed back up because now I'm getting upset. I let a lot go and was thinking maybe it was a processing error of sorts. If I didn't work in accounting and meticulously check my statements, I would have never caught that. I finally got an email after being ignored over and over, saying they never processed the refund correctly. Now I'm upset. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but honestly, this all feels borderline fraudulent. Make sure you check your statements if you do business here.
