The instructor was so easy to talk to and did a great job making me feel comfortable and understand what to expect. The workout itself could be performed by a varying of age groups and experiences levels. My favorite workouts are the ones that feel easy and fun, but leave me sore. This workout did exactly that. They also have childcare on sight . I would book in advance and the studio can be quite busy. If driving there for the first time, Apple Maps will direct you to the upper parking lot. It is located I little farther down the drive way in the lower parking lot near the river.

In the three years we've worked together, she has not only helped me accomplish all of that, she has taken me far beyond what I ever thought I could do. Her workouts are always thoughtful, always tailored to my needs, and always spot-on. She listens, adapts, and somehow knows just how to challenge me while keeping the sessions fun (unless I'm gasping for air--but even then, she gets me talking again!). Lots of members complained. Reed Market location kept the Cybex but too far to drive. 2) The Bend gym is a palace compared to other Snap Fitness locations out-of-state. We visited six in Arizona. Most are hole in the walls and not worth the effort to go. Arizona Planet Fitness gyms are similar in size to the Bend location. 3) Upfront $89 fee is ridiculous . . plus, for a couple it would be $79/month. Based on the above, it looks like Planet Fitness is my best bet for decent machines, reasonable price, and good size gyms for out-of-state.

The locker rooms are absolutely disgusting by the end of the day. They don't have male cleaners here. That means no one is cleaning the men's locker rooms all day. The classes posted on the doors don't match up to the classes online. They do not turn on the heat in the hallways. You go from the sauna to a freezing cold hallway. Feels like you're gonna get sick. This gym is basically a daycare center mixed with an old people's home. They are always having events and closing the pools. They close early without notice and the hours here are horrible. There are homeless people lurking in the parking lots and come into use the facilities. Things get stolen as well. I cannot wait for there to be real adult fitness club in bend. Because juniper is garbage.

While I don't have specific recommendations for how to alleviate this situation in all cities, I can certainly provide some assistance when it comes to Bend, Oregon. The Athletic Club of Bend offers numerous opportunities for you to get that workout in when you're in town for a visit. Their amenities include 7 indoor tennis courts, an indoor running track, indoor and outdoor pools, a large spa, cardio equipment, weight room, a full basketball court, and 4 racquetball/squash courts. While those amenities don't necessarily make this place unique, there are two characteristics that do set this place apart. First, they openly accept visitors to the club. Many clubs are very closed minded about this, but not so here. Sure, you'll have to pay a guest fee, but it was very reasonable. Second, I found the members here to be genuinely welcoming. I chose to utilize the club for some tennis and I felt immediately accepted by a group of members who have a standing weekly match. After just 2 hours together I felt like a part of the group and left with names and phone numbers for the next time that I visit Bend. Sure, you can come up with an excuse to not workout while in Bend, but that excuse can't be that there's no facilities that you have access to or there are no friendly people here to connect with. The atmosphere is very friendly, welcoming, and well suited for both men and women of varying levels of fitness. You will both build strength and tax your cardio which is tough to do well. If you stick to it you will see results. I haven't utilized the nurtritional consulting, but I imagine that would increase your gains even further. If you are looking for a friendly and high quality circuit class experience, this gym will be a great fit. I give it my highest recommendation.
