I have only been here once. They were too busy to fit me in this morning. So I went somewhere else. After 2 weeks all my nails were falling off. 3 broke. When I got my nails fixed I had fungus under 3 nails!! I have never ever had that before. They are so gross. I know it was how they fixed my nails. Honestly this used to be my go to place for nails and pedis, and I would recommend it to everyone because of their amazing service and how nice they were. Now.. not so much. I was completely rushed through my nails, the guy that did them hurt me by filing too rough on the top and sides, and to top it off they turned out horrible! Lots of newer looking chairs in a simple open space. Seems like they just opened so it wasn't too busy but it was 1pm on a weekday. The basic pedicure was $25 and they have very basic waxing in the back of the facility. There's a hair salon next door so it's kind of easy to miss either one as there isn't much to distinguish the two when just walking by on a sunny day. My go to salon in SLC! Super cute and clean waiting area. I had a mani/pedi and it was the best pedi I've had (except for the Four Seasons, Maui ). Had hot/cold towels, paraffin, aroma. Really great! What a lovely surprise to find this oasis in the Valley. From the moment you walk in, there's a zen ambiance -- very clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and paid attention to detail. I brought my bf's mom (we were both visiting from out of town) and treated her to the organic pedicure (we both got). I had Jason and she had Trisha -- we were both pleased with the results. Pretty, clean, and soft toes and feet! Plus, my bf's mom went patriotic just in time for the July 4th holiday and she's been getting so many compliments. After visiting the dryness of Utah, it was so nice to rejuvenate our toes and feet. The organic pedicure is a real treat -- lots of steps that you don't find in other salons (and the scents are yum! I did cucumber and my bf's mom did grapefruit). Plus, the added 2 bonus steps of peppermint oil to relax & soothe your legs and paraffin wax to soften your feet, was such a lovely surprise. Jason did a nice job, especially with my dry callous and he did magic with this wand thing that seemed to zap away all the dry spots. The extra time for the massage was so relaxing, too. Trisha was attentive to my bf's mom and even helped to fix one of her toenails that had previous damage due to too much gel nail treatment. I also appreciated the diversity in the staff and being able to provide service in-language to other customers (Spanish-speaking). Definitely the best pedi I've received in the market. So service for my nails here has always been fantastic! D has been doing my nails for two years now and I have zero complaints but this morning I went in for a Brazilian and a different woman with long hair did it. I've had them done other places for over a year and asked in the beginning to not use hard wax unless necessary. The first half was very professional and she used the soft wax and strips. There was a patch she couldn't get and tried 3 times and ended up soaking the wax off. I had my eyes closed and before I knew it she had the left side covered in hard wax. It then took her 35 minutes to get half of the hard wax off. Was pulling the wax then cutting the hair underneath because she couldn't pull it fast. I was in so much pain from the hard wax that I was crying and went into shock. She left me on the table for 15 minutes alone. Went to smiths and came back with a shaver! I had pulled the remaining wax off myself because she was going so slow I puked in my mouth twice. It literally felt like it was one hair at a time. She then DRY shaved the remaining patches. I will continue to go for my nails but will not get waxed here again. Down are photos of the razor burn not including the patches that were left in areas I cannot show. And then proceeded to charge me about 70% of what the total cost should have been. read more

DO NOT GO HERE - It is neither sanitary nor a pleasant experience in the least. Last week while in town visiting family, I came into this salon for a gel pedicure with gel still on my toes. As others have mentioned, they do not remove gel the proper way and instead used the nail file drill to drill through all of the gel and in doing so, nicked the skin around my toes causing very small cuts and caused dents in the nail itself. Next, the woman told me to place my feet in the water without cleaning off any of the polish or wiping it away with a fresh towel. Then she started using the small clippers to the point of true pain. In more than a few instances, I winced and would have to pull my foot away. From this point, I started to get really uncomfortable. She used a light soap on my feet and immediately I felt my toe start to sting. I asked her to please stop and wipe off the toe as the soap was irritating my toe and I felt like I had a small cut. NEVER did I accuse her of cutting my toe. I simply stated that I was in pain and would like her to stop scrubbing them with the soap. Immediately, she became defensive and started to ARGUE with me that she did not cut my foot and that she only OCCASIONALLY cut people. Not a strong argument. Again, I told her that I didn't know where the cut came from, but I would prefer she stop covering that toe with the soap. She CONTINUED to argue with me over something I hadn't even accused her of, though in truth, I can still see the scab from where she did cut my toe last week. Finally she picked the soap back up and proceeded to soap up the same toe I had just asked her to avoid again. Again, I had to ask her to stop and again, she argued that she RARELY cut people and that she had not cut me. At this point, I'm extremely uncomfortable to the point that I feel awkward getting up to leave with her arguing with me so much. She continues to do a truly shoddy job painting my toes and then argues with me AGAIN when I tell her I would like to refrain from having hot oil put on the my feet given that there was a cut on my toe. She proceeded to ask me if I was sure I didn't want the oil many times even as I assured her I did not each time she asked. Finally upon finishing, she asks her colleague to come over telling her that I had said she had cut me and to inspect my toe for her. AGAIN, I tell her co worker that I had never said it was her, I had just said the soap was irritating my foot. Here's my question, if you were so worried about the cut and your responsibility for it, why didn't you call her over when it first occurred? Second, if you felt that it wasn't your fault, why would you make such an effort to prove that it was not your fault? Before leaving, I also heard the man who had spent most of his time watching tv and giving random wait times that didn't correspond with the real wait times talking loudly about the woman I was with and why she had left early. Truthfully, she left because I told her that she did not want this woman anywhere near her body and because they had said it was a short wait, had put her feet in water that was now cold, and had seemingly forgotten about her when other individuals came in who were also walk-ins. read more
