Fill your own bag of saltwater taffy, there are chocolates, truffles, popcorn, so many delicious things and they're all pretty delicious. We usually get taffy and truffles. They do charge a credit card fee here so bring cash if you're as averse to these as I am. This is such a fun store though that don't let that deter you. There are usually a few staff members behind the long counter ready to ring you up. We hit this place up every year for goodies. Check it out!

You can pretty much find here anything from an apple pie to a fried KOOL AID! Wow, after looking at the menu I expected to see anything fried but kool aid. So fascinating. I had a chance to try out their funnel cake with chocolate. It was a regular funnel cake, which did not really wow me. So if you want to avoid crowds, stop by this one as their ice cream is good. Plus they have a variety of flavors and ices too. Prices here a little more than my favorite ice cream shop in Lavallette and Ice Palace also charges a credit card fee. It's a few blocks from the house I rented, but we'd rather drive a bit to other places. Still, I'll give them five stars as they're good enough and there's plenty of seating inside, plus an actual parking lot!

(Sometimes twice a day) Sadly, halfway through our recent week, nobody wanted it anymore. Their product tastes the same, but portions have gotten small. Prices went up, and I don't mind that, but don't skimp on what you serve. It's just disappointing. There's even one server at this location that is really stingy. You barely get a swirl and a half on top of your cone. Ironically, I got a picture of him chowing down on a cone in the back! Last year, the regular size was satisfying and the large was a monster that you had fun finishing with your kids. This year, the regular cone is significantly smaller than prior years and large was similar to the regular. We switched to Summer Sweets in Lavallette for our daily fix and were much happier. Great flavors of ice cream, nice portions and it's actually cheaper than Kohr's.

This Kohr's had me thinking 5 stars for sure just because of their excellent customer service. This location is right on Rt 35, next to Barnacle Bill's. They actually have a small parking lot that many don't realize exists. You have to drive up the next side street towards the beach, then head down the one way road to their location. Pull in and you'll likely see some empty spots... Unless it's a Saturday. The custard here was delicious. What really stood out was the customer service. First my 82 year old father dropped his cone. They eagerly and happily replaced it for him. Then, when peeling away the paper from my cone, it buckled and collapsed. So mine fell too. When showing it to the guys behind the counter, they again were eager to help replace it. I was just Wow'd at the service here. They really want you to be satisfied.
