Came here during their first day of grand opening and needless to say, it's one of the cleanest nail salons here in town. The decor is very modern and you can tell everything is newly furnished/built. Usually I'm a little skeptical when trying out a new nail place but there was nothing that made me feel uneasy here. I was greeted with a smile and was told Walk-ins are available. They were able to fit me in no time.. The prices are pretty average comparing to other nail salons. Apparently after reading a couple of the reviews on yelp I decided to ask for Mary to work on my nails. She's great! Sweet, attentive, and takes her time.. Also, I've seen Trish's work and she's really good too. They all seem pretty nice.. For sure I will be returning! read more

Wanted to love this place as it's close to home. Unfortunately after making an appointment with who I thought was reviewed highly, I sat down in the chair to have her use a file on the side of my nail so hard she sliced through my skin. It hurt for 3-4 days post nail appointment and I could barely use that finger. I then proceeded to get a pedicure by a different person who seemed like she had zero experience doing them. I watched Lena tell her step by step what to do , and it's was not a relaxing experience. After paying a lot of money for these services I wanted nothing more to leave there satisfied and relaxed. Sad that this wasn't the case and I do not think I can ever go back. read more

First time here! I called and made a super quick and easy appointment! My nails came out super cute and just how I wanted them! I was so happy of how they turned out . Did acrylic powder, nude to white with gel glitter on top. Finished under an hour. I love them, so gorgeous! Great service and friendly atmosphere. Thank you David! Will come again . read more

First time here and the service was really great!! I've been struggling to find a nail salon after so much bad luck. The girl at the front desk was super sweet, we got sat immediately on a Friday evening when it was busy and she asked if we wanted water. The gentleman who did my sisters pedicure was super funny and nice. The girl who did my pedicure, Wendy was super sweet as well. For 35 regular polish pedicure you get a parafin wax included and I think it's worth it. Overall the staff was super friendly and I was impressed my first time here. I will be back! read more

I usually am pretty happy when I get my nails done here, but today was a definitely a mediocre 3-star experience. I came here around 5:45pm with a friend without an appointment and they were able to get us in pretty quickly. David was my nail tech and the whole experience seemed extremely rushed. I got a gel pedicure and he wouldn't let my nails sit under the light for the set 30 or 60 seconds. Once he was finished painting my toes on the other side, he would quickly switch the lamp over. My nails came out with lint and air bubbles all over them. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience. read more

If you like cuts on your toes, this is the place to go! Went in for a gel mani and a regular pedi. I wanted something specific for my 50th HS Reunion. I took a picture. They didn't even know the difference between a foil line and a sticker. He tried to talk me into something that was easier for him. I had to settle for something I didn't want. As for the pedi, same thing didn't get what I wanted. I got something extra tho! I got 3 of my toes cut and one got an infection! He also cut my toenails so bad, it looked like he sawed them. I absolutely love my nails!!! I never leave reviews but I have to this time. It was my first time trying this place that was strongly recommended by my friend.I called spontaneously after work and they were able to fit me in. Saw the great reviews and decided to check it out. Came in just after they opened so they weren't busy. I got seated right away for my pedicure. It was nice, simple, and fast. That's the nice part of this review. The only issue and the reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because a regular pedicure was $28 before tip and it was a nothing fancy pedicure. The other issue I had was when I was done I was basically ushered to the register to pay and leave. My toes weren't even dry yet and it wasn't like they were busy they have plenty of chairs open. Drove home with wet toes and basically messed them up. So I basically just threw away $30. Probably won't be returning. read more

The Gentleman who did my nails did a very good job. I am absolutely pleased with his work. That being said.... Don't let the pictures fool you. This place was filthy. The techs do not clean up after each client. There was so much nail dust all over the floor, I almost slipped twice. The bathroom was horrendous. There was two front desk workers who did absolutely nothing but gossip. I would think one of their duties would be to at least sweep the damn floor. I was under the impression this was an up scale establishment, but it's not. It's a regular run-of-the-mill nail shop. I won't be going back. read more

I chose this salon because mine was closed and I needed my nails done. I loked at reviews and saw they have dipping powder. They have a different technique here. They put a clear coat that has to dry For 15 minutes or so. By the time I got home my nails all looks like they had bubbles and smudges. The next day I called and was able to get in and she fixed them. I had to go back to × 2 have them fixed I felt like there was some sort of chemical reaction with the dipping powder and the top coat that was being used not allowing it to cure properly. Ultimately she puts a gel coat on my nails over the dipping powder and put me under the UV light. The next day 2 of my nails started chipping. I know they tried to make it right but it did not turn out well. I will not be going back. read more

My nails turned out nice for the price. She did cut me with the file once, and the experience felt a little rushed from short staffing and people waiting. Overall staff was friendly. I wish they asked you what nail shape you wanted, typically I ask for rounded nails, but they automatically square them without asking. Nails are slightly messy around the edges. These guys are incredible. I went in with a set of nails that had been done poorly at another salon, and they were quick to see the problem and jumped to fix it. They walked me through all the things that were wrong with the set and gave me all my options to fix it. I entered with a set from hell, it was too long, too thick and just PAINFUL. I left with a GORGEOUS short set of beautiful sleek black nails. They were so incredible and sweet, and so willing to help me, even though I didn't have an appointment. They were incredibly friendly and so eager to help. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Thank you all so much! read more

This is my go to nail salon! I've been going here for years now. Mary is probably the most popular nail tech and she always does an amazing job but anyone can do your nails and they come out amazing. I've never had my acrylic nails break or crack like I know many of my friends have. Plus they always have the best movies on! read more

I came to Polish's nail bar because it was close to my house and I didn't want to drive 20 minutes to my regular spot in Fresno. Big mistake. I never should've cheated on my Fresno mail tech. The set up was nice at this store it really is designed like an actual bar. The tech who did my nails here was named Daniel. I had gotten sns on my nails and they unfortunately didn't have the color I wanted so I chose the closest color but...it still wasn't right. After he finished my nails I was just so sad, and he could tell but did nothing to improve customer satisfaction. I went up to pay for my horrible nails and I kindly told the receptionist that I really hated my nails and that the color wasn't what I had hoped for. She was so accommodating and allowed me to chose a gel polish to put on top of my SNS. Daniel painted my nails with the gel color and it was definitely rushed. I gave him a $10 tip, which I though was fair, but I know I will never go back there again. Cut to a week later, the nails were already peeling off. Smh read more

Appreciate the call that nails technicians are falling behind. Didn't like was the nail tech that did my acrylic nails didn't fix my cuticles and just proceeded to do the acrylic. She did it so fast and didn't really take her time to inspect her work. I had to tell her to clean the bottom of the nails and clean the cuticles. The almond nails was lopsided and wasn't close to being even. Didn't like my pedi because there are bubbles, uncleaned lines, and clumps; her painting skills wasn't at all great. Donna rushed on everything. I had high hopes because of the good reviews. First and last time going there. read more

Diana did my nails and she did a great job...thanks Diana!!! I would have given 5 stars but it was rather on the pricey side so I was not able to get the nail design that I wanted. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: Wow. I'm not sure how, but it got worse. I tried this salon two more times in the last few months, and I won't be going back. The first time was just another gel manicure, and it started majorly chipping off during the beginning of week two. Not the worst, but not the best. I decided it might've just been a fluke, so I went there again last weekend. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure this time, and BOY. Was that a mistake. Not sure what they did, but I'm wondering if they used unsanitary tools on my feet because one of my toenails has been in major, tender discomfort ever since. Almost like an ingrown toenail sensation, only, my toenail isn't ingrown. The manicure I received was one of the worst quality I've ever had. The lady doing it kept messing up the gel (for no apparent reason?). She would bake me under the UV light MUCH longer than anything I've experienced before. Almost working one finger at a time, though I was only doing the same basic nude color on all my fingers. I've never seen gel polish melt off fingernails before, but that's what this looked like. She would make me sit for 2-3 minutes with a nail under the UV light, then file off the bits that got messed up, then paint another layer over it, and bake the finger again for 2-3 more minutes. Unsurprisingly, the manicure had lots of air bubbles in between the layers of gel polish, compromising the integrity. It's been less than a week, and due to the bubbling gel, some layers of the color are cracking and peeling off. Reminder; it HAS NOT even been ONE WEEK. I've done my absolute best not to aggravate the polish and make it last, but it just won't. To top it off, she was also very careless with my cuticles and they look worse now than they did before. She was rough and made me bleed, just like my previous experiences. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but my time here just hasn't been enjoyable. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wish I could give this place more stars. My first experience here was quite some time ago, and it was really positive. Even though it was my first time getting a manicure and I was all by myself, I didn't feel like a complete doofus for not knowing what was going to happen. Unfortunately, my return visits have not been so pleasant, and have all resulted in me bleeding. I'm not much of a cry baby, but the unpleasantness of being cut and then your open wound placed under a UV light is more than a little uncomfortable for me. Every time this happened to me, the lady's would tell me it was my fault that they cut me. I decided to try a few other businesses and didn't run into the problem of being cut open, so I'm afraid it might be the people who were doing my nails every time I came back to this place. Very unfortunate (and uncomfortable!) and I wish I had a better repeat experience. read more

Don did my nails and they came out INSANELY pretty- I can't keep my eyes off them! By far best nail salon I've been to and definitely going to become a regular here. The facility isn't an eyesore like most others around town and has a very clean feeling. He took his time and could tell he puts pride in his work. $33 for a fill and gel change which isn't exactly cheap but for what you get it's worth the price. read more

I came to this nail salon to get my nails done for my wedding and they are GORGEOUS. I'm from out of town so I didn't know what to expect, but I'm more than happy with my experience. I really wanted to love this place, but the guy that did my gel manicure tore my skin. He made me bleed at one point and still days after this is the aftermath. I've gotten my nails done for years at multiple locations and they have never looked like this. I will say the nail place is clean, offers great colors, and everyone is friendly. read more

$37 for gel although I got the wax too only a couple dollars more expensive than where I use to go and she spent more time on my feet and massaged legs and feet so worth it!

How are their tools sanitized? Do they open a new set of tools from a sanitized pouch with every client?

No they do not open a new set of sanitized tools with each new client. I went 3 times & never noticed them bother opening a fresh set of tool for a new client or myself. I no longer go there!

They greeted us immediately upon entering and made us comfortable. We had requested the spa pedi so once escorted to the pedi area and seated, we were given a lovely glass of sparkling wine. Since Mother's Day is coming up, we were also given pink roses. Michelle and Anna did the pedicures. They were excellent techs and chatted with us throughout the whole pedi. They really made the experience even more special. I feel like I should also comment on the cleanliness of the salon. It was *impeccable*. Not even a bit of dust in the corners. It looked brand new but they've been there a long time. Very impressive. I can't recommend this place enough. Book! Now!

I ask for acrylic,square shape, and short with milky white. I actually wanted my nails short but the lady kept telling me "honey, no worry, i file." But after file she said she can't go shorter than this... i have had the owner did my nails once and he can make it shorter than these. Who knows, maybe her skills are not that great to start with. I looked at my nails and some are a bit off and crooked. I told her that it's a bit crooked and to fix it. She looks at it and said, "Honey, your nails are crooked." With a iritated high tone. She took my nails and file it quick. And start the next step. I felt rushed and unappreciated here. Even i can't speak up to fix her art. I think it's just inappropriate to straight up to tell your guest that its my own fault that my nails are crooked. I know i may have crooked nails but your job is to satisfy your customers and make my nails beautiful because I'm paying you to do the job. I just think that they need to learn how to speak and satisfy their customers rather than blaming it's my nails. WAIT TIME : Is fast. She did it really quick. Estimation time is about 15 minutes. FEES : Since i wanted my nails short and simple, they charge only $45. I believe if you want it longer and wirh designs. They may have other price option too. I was debating my toe nails too. I looked at the menu, the starting price is about $35. AMBIANCE : It's a bit hot inside. I felt like their's no air circulation. It's also pretty dead quiet in there with a few clients in there. INTERRIOR : It's not updated. Interior design is just a normal room with equipments and materials. RATE : 2/5 SERVICE : Great welcoming and exiting service! But my nail specailist service is not that great. I felt unappreciated with my feed backs. PROS : I'm glad that the lady was not pushy and ask you to add more stuff like other locations. RATE : 2/5 OVERALL : I think i just had a bad experience with this one lady only. I love the owner art though. I do highly give them another chance.
