Not sure if the map location is accurate, but this spa is located right next to the Dunkin across from Aldi. I have been coming here for about two years now, and I am never disappointed. I always ask for Jackie to do my pedicures - she does an amazing job, and she is also super sweet. I don't typically get gel or anything beyond regular manicure/pedicure services, but I have always been happy with the results. Definitely recommend, especially compared to some of the other places in the area that I've tried. This spa is also very clean and obviously well maintained, which makes me feel very comfortable getting my nails done here. read more

Nothing good about this experience! The woman who did my pedicure was inexperienced. She rushed, didn't shape my toenails, didn't touch my overgrown cuticles, the polish is smudged and uneven (I sat still under the light the whole time after) and she didn't remove my calluses. She barely touched my feet! We are never coming back here, too many better nail spas in the area. Staff was not friendly. Horrible experience, it took the women all of 3 mins to prep my nails, she left a ton of black polish that went under some liftage I had, didn't remove that lose acrylic from my nails. And then filled the acrylic right over it. They pushed gel polish on me multiple times even though I said I was allergic. The polish job was horrendous. It was streaky, you could see the file lines in my nails, cause they weren't buffed out, I asked for the same shape and she completely ruined it on some nails, while leaving it the same on others. I have been getting my nails done for 30 years and I have never had the damage I incurred at this salon. Two months later and my nail beds are still sensitive and my nails are thin and weak. Totally awful use of the dremel. And the women who wrecked my nails literally said "they'll grow back" and "I don't understand why anyone thinks you can have beauty without a cost". Not true. Unfortunately my usual place wasn't available and I chose Polished day spa as a temporary replacement. I was able to get an appointment quickly and didn't have to wait when I arrived thus the one star. Cindy did my nails The pedicure bath was not very warm and it was chilly in the shop. As you can tell by the photo the paint job was very poorly done. After I noticed a hair stuck in the left big toe paint. Instead of repainting she wiped remover on it which resulted in uneven paint job. The real trouble was with the gel manicure. I went with a milky white shade. She Filed them after two coats without brushing off dust and painted the top coat resulting in bumps and uneven paint. When I pointed it out the technician told me it was my nails that are bumpy... and acting very annoyed. I explained that I've never had this happen before with a gel manicure " and not every nail was bumpy. She then told me it's because I wanted 3 coats. I always get 3 coats. The owner came over and said it was the milky polish that does that... especially since my nails are not really long. I mentioned that if they had told me I would have chosen another color. Why are they using poor polish when they know it doesn't work and then blaming customers?The technician unhappily took off the gel, meaning rotor filing my nail surfaces and I went with another color that they said would be better . After a 40 minutes redo I'm really unhappy with the color and considered going somewhere else to change it but I'm nervous about damaging my nails even more. Overall it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. There was no discount for all the hassle and the owner didn't check on the situation when I checked out. Another technician was friendly and asked if it was ok which I did appreciate. I will not recommend or return to this business. Extremely poor customer service. read more

Got acrylic nails removed, and considering I have had a positive experience with this nail salon in the past, I expected a professional experience. My only experience getting acrylics removed has been by soaking in acetone, which is what I expected coming to a professional nail salon. Instead, they were cut, then a nail tip was wedged underneath the acrylic and the acrylics were violently yanked off. When pieces were broken and left still attached to my nail, she took pliers to yank off these pieces. This was an extremely uncomfortable and even painful experience and my nails were left extremely thin and damaged as layers of my nail were ripped off in the process. To boot, I was charged 25 dollars for this when I am used to paying 15 dollars for my nails being removed professionally and safely. I am definitely not coming back here and I would advise against this salon as this is NOT an acceptable practice! read more

I made a reservation and was not helped until 30 minutes after my reservation. They were so rude to me the entire time I was in there, making me feel so dumb. When I called two days ahead and made a reservation. I wouldn't have even minded the 30 minute wait if they didn't make me feel like an idiot the entire time. It was also very over priced, will not be coming back or recommending to anyone. Also did not even do my friends nails well. She was over charged and her nails look half finished. Here's why: * My nail polish came out lumpy and poorly applied. * All that was done was file and cuticle work with no massage or lotion. * $14 is a reasonable price for a manicure but without lotion? No. * I didn't love hearing how my nail technician has no license but drives anyhow. * After a sloppy polish job she "cleaned up" my fingers with a brush dipped in pure acetone. Paired with the lack of lotion this dried my hands out horribly. Not going back. Tried them for a pedicure last year and got a foul mouthed overly chatty woman. This was the nail in the coffin. I have come here several times and usually they do a decent job but this last time was the worst manicure I've ever gotten anywhere. It was a gel manicure. The color was very unevenly applied. The person applied 2 coats of the polish and then decided to file my nails again for some reason and then didn't wipe the dust from that off before applying the third coat and top coat so all the dust was under the polish and there's tiny bumps and it looks awful. One of my nails chipped at the base of the nail the same day that I got the manicure and it wasn't from anything I did. I feel upset that I wasted $30 to have my nails look so bad. I won't ever go back even though I've had alright experiences in the past...this sealed the deal. Additionally, she touched another person's feet and then just rinsed her hands off before coming back to me instead of actually washing them which is gross. read more

The salon is clean and very friendly. They know their customers by name and are very conscientious about their work. Went a couple times, including for my wedding pedicure. The last time I was there, I asked for "French" and the girl who did my nails put some horrible polish on them. It got ruined really quickly, but then wouldn't come off with regular polish remover. It took weeks to get it off. The extra $5 I paid for "French" colored nails was the worst $5 I ever spent. I think they hire high school kids, some of whom have no business doing nails. I have no plans to return. I will say the Asian woman who runs the place was quite good, but the "local kids" there, not so much. read more

Worst experience of my entire life. Went in to get my acrylic nails removed and they sat me down at a table and then made me move for another customer. That didn't bother me until it took forever for someone to come check up on me while my nails were soaking. Then they bring me back to a table and the guy is trying to remove the rest of the acrylic nails that are left and it's fine until he gets to the pointer finger and gets lazy. Instead of using the machine he tries clipping it off and cracks my real nail underneath. It starts the bleed and he just tells me to calm down. Puts glue for fake nails to keep it in place and goes on to paints my nails. Worst paint job ever and there was a bunch of dry residue stuck to my hands from letting them soak in acetone which they didn't remove while painting. I noticed two other workers come over and look at my nails and make comments and laugh. Clearly this man is not a nail tech because my nails are atrocious. I went up and they made me pay even though she saw how bad my nails came out. Never coming here again and I don't recommend it for anyone else either. He also tried getting the nail polish off my pinky finger by ripping it off andripped off my skin. read more

I am so disappointed with how I was treated here. I came to make an appointment and the three employees stared at me, talked between themselves, and didn't say anything to me for a while. They seemed very unhappy when I walked in (despite me being polite and just asking for a manicure when they had time available that night) and made me feel very unwanted. I asked if they wanted me to come back in an hour (going in, I expected they wouldn't be able to take me right away). When they weren't talking between themselves, they spoke to me as if I was stupid and like they didn't want me there. I understand it's easier to not have people come in so you can relax, but when your business is open, expect people to come! Greet them. Communicate with them instead of talking to your co workers and staring at them for a long period of time. It was extremely awkward and again, I felt very unwanted. I read reviews about the nail salons in the area and knew a lot of them were pretty bad so me and my mom drove around and saw this place, which I remember I went to once before and they did an excellent job. The place is new, clean and modern. They had us in pedicure chairs right when we walked in as well as a long scrub and long massage with oil. Personally that is my favorite part of a pedicure so if they take a long time with those things it's the best. They use this lemon scrub that smells bomb and a hot towel. Honestly worst experience! The owner Michael is rude. Instead of asking me to move my hands or arms he just grabbed. Didn't speak to me once, he was more focused on a child eating chips in the waiting area then me. Between his attitude and his constant need to check his phone I'm not pleased. I originally scheduled my appointment with another lady because she's friendly and when I got there she had an appointment so I sat and waited and got him. The pedicure was painful. The lady moved my chair for her comfort not mine. I was so far away my legs were starting to twitch and she was getting made at me and she cut one of my toes. In a line of people I'm the only person to have my legs covered with a towel when no one else did! Like I was offended.
