I went to one previously in the area and although it was nice, Luxury Nails and Spa far surpassed the entire experience. I researched so many nail salons because I did not want to spend more than $30 on a gel manicure so I wanted to get the best price around. Turns out many salons in this area charge more than $30 so my wallet was definitely getting nervous. Luckily I found Luxury Nails and Salon and their gel manicures were the CHEAPEST around! $28! Seriously such a bargain. I was sold and hopped right over. Upon entering I was nicely greeted by the staff. The interior design is really cute and you can tell they renovated to keep up with modern trends. Their gel selection was awesome as well. It took me a little bit to pick one out. When I was seated the manicurist was so friendly- asked me how I was doing, where I'm from- just simple small talk. It was nice because most technicians at other salons don't even bother acknowledging you as a person. The quality of my filing was amazing, my gel polish was perfect! Throughout my visit, my technician (Amy) recommended different products and taught me about powder gel which is something I'll have to try one day in the future. Overall best bang for your buck! When I came back to speak with them about getting it fixed, the same tech who messed it up in the first place raised her voice at me -- not sure what she said, but it was unprofessional and uncomfortable. The man who attempted to help me kept asking questions that had nothing to do with my actual complaint and repeated himself multiple times, confusing the issue even more. His excuse for the chipping? That they "only do two passes because it's clear." That's nonsense -- I've been getting clear powder dip for years, and that is simply not standard practice. Location: blue back very convenient if you live in the area, that said, street or public parking both cost money Monday to Saturday. Don't want to pay, come on a Sunday. Great location if you're having a nail date with a friend, makes grabbing a meal afterwards in the area easy since it's always nice to stroll around blue back. Service/quality: friendly owner who communicated well, place had a youthful vibe since most nail techs were young. Quick massage for manicure, gave us a free 10 min massage card for next time along with a returning 10 times card. They also have membership for $30/year that comes with some discount benefits.
