PEDICURE I just went here today as a walk in and they were so nice. I wanted just a basic and a nail polish on my toes. MIA was so nice. I explained that I have eczema on my legs and that I am self conscious, I also have a broken wrist at the moment so I can't shave my legs. My nails were in such bad shape this stop was a must!! Now saying that I never "cheat" on my hair or nail places because you just never know what you will get. The woman who did my nails deserves a zero!!!!!! she was terrible, I asked to have a dip powder French manicure she absolutely wrecked my nails -gave me a hack job. she cut my nails too short and was filing the skin under my nails. Absolutely awful! I tried this place out based on other reviewer's recommendations, and boy were they wrong! When I arrived there were (human and fake) nail clippings all over the floor. My French manicure came out absolutely horrible, and when I asked them to have either the girl who did my nails paint over it, or someone else look at it and try to fix it, they told me I would have to come back in an hour, because they had other appointments waiting!? So let me get this straight - you guys completely messed up my nails, and on my one day off this week I now have to hang around for another hour for someone to fix it? Before you start on the next customer waiting in a chair, you should be done taking care of the one you are working on. Oh and did I mention she literally poured acetone on my hand to get the residual polish off? Thankfully thats not really drying or bad for your skin.... I'm not sure what kind of business they're running here that doesn't take care of the customers that they've messed up on but I can assure you I will never be back here, nor recommend anyone visit here read more

I tried this place because it is right near my work. They did a fantastic job! I normally get the uv gel nails but after talking to the nail technicians she convinced me to do the powder. It looks so good and it was very quick! No burning of your nails under the light. I also tried a new style of nail I normally am a oval or square type of girl but I tried almond... I went home to try it out but ended up hating it! Went into the salon the next day and they fixed me right up to my oval no charge. read more

Tommy took care of my nails so well! I haven't gotten many pedicures but he pampered me with foot scrubs and lotions. I told him I was ticklish and he made me laugh a bunch after that. Absolute worst pedicure I've ever received. Thankfully two other girls stepped in to assist and help because it was like I didn't even get a pedicure after sitting there over an hr. The entire space was disgustingly dirty- floor, tables, sinks, drying area. They only quickly spray the pedi tubs and rinse. Everything was very unsanitary. Then I look over at the waxing station and that's just as dirty. If it wasn't for the woman who did my manicure It would have been the worst experience in a nail salon by far but she was positive and apologized profusely for the service I was receiving previously. This place was a nice looking place but, when they were painting my nails, they got nail polish around the nail and didn't get all of the nail. I got my feet done as well and they got polish on my toes as well. They had nice staff but it didn't make up for the bad paint job. And in my opinion, it was way too overpriced for the quality of the manicure and pedicure. read more

Absolute worst nail experience of my life. I took a chance coming here to try dipping powder ( I usually go elsewhere but was looking in the area for a different place). That being said I know the process, which she haphazardly followed. First off, I asked for a manicure with dipping powder, but she only did the dipping powder, yet charged me for both. Second, she asked if I wanted a tip, and I told her just a little longer than my (already) short nails, because I wanted them natural and can't have fake nails for work. They were horribly long, and at no point during the filing/cutting process did she ask if the length was okay. It was near the end as I realized that I had to say something before she finished. When I told her politely there were a little too long for work, she rolled her eyes and barely filed them. Again, I had to say something, and she filed again. The end result was absolutely horrible. I wish I could post pictures for you all to see. My fingers were dyed the color of the polish, my nails were horribly thick, unnatural and overall cheap looking. I left and immediately went somewhere else to get them fixed. Complete waste of money. read more

The service I was provided here was shelac nails and waxed eyebrows, the aray of colors and products they offer are enormous and reasonably priced. Well.... I want to thank the board of health who was out there within two days of me calling after the filth and disgusting unsanitary service. It was great to get a call from her saying she confirmed my concerns and saw what I saw and we'll be working with them to clean up their act. My husband got him and I a gift card for couples pedicure. Knowing how many places aren't really up to par, I said let me check it out first. ** Before I post this long review, I just want to say these people can't blame the place being filthy because of them being busy. They were doing each others nails on a Tuesday at 10:30 when I walked in. As someone else mentioned, the place was filthy with 3 inches of dust everywhere, finger nails human and fake all over the floor but what did it for me was when I got to the pedicure chair. She filled it up and had the jet running * I ask you to look and be cautious as it's not worth infection**, it had black jelly sludge coming out like if you hadn't cleaned your home drain for 5 years. I refused to put my feet in the water but she kept trying to put them in. Didn't understand English. I brought my own tools mostly as places aren't always clean. I forgot my clippers in the car, the ones she went and found were filthy so I had her cut my toes with cuticle clippers, mine. I skipped massage etc. Still charged me whole pedicure all she did was cut ,file and polish, oh and they talked about me the whole time I was there because I said, I didn't want an infection. But it's hard when they don't understand you. My husband thought south Windsor would be a good place. Wrong!! I've tried the place at evergreen too, real fancy terrible service and job! All about money. I had the same tech for 6 years however, she left a great place in Vernon. ***The health inspector told me because nail techs don't have to be licensed they get away with this. They are only inspected once a year. The rules are they are to be using one time use kits on every customer just an fyi. I wish I could share pictures which I posted on their Facebook review page. I say this... always ask to use the restroom first, it says a lot about a place. There's hadn't been cleaned for a very long time, there were bugs and it was freezing that day?. I have been coming to this salon for 15 years and there is no where else I would ever go. The service is extremely kind and nice and their work is like no other ! I've not only had my nails done, but my toe nails done, and eyebrows waxed.. I usually walk in without an appt and have never waited for than 5-7 mins. Whatever you want done they will do. Had a palm tree painted on a fingernail before vacation and it was a work of art. Very dirty, doesn't seem like they ever clean. The pedicure bowls were filthy and the last straw was long black hairs in and around the bowl. I'm not convinced in any way the utensils are sterilized. Be careful people. I had to stop going there, it was just too dirty for me. Don't be fooled by these pics they've posted. Go in look around before you make an appointment. First I will say the staff was friendly and welcoming and did a great job on my brows. Unfortunately the place was absolutely fifthly, the guy doing my pedicure took a big chunk out of my skin while cutting my cuticles which didn't need cutting in the first place, my mother was also cut by the women doing her nails so this may be a training issue. My massage chair barely worked, and though my mom was given a leg massage I was not. I really wanted to like this place but they turned what should have been a relaxing afternoon into a painful and uncomfortable experience. read more
