Grabbed a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese the other day after not having been there for at least 20 years…read more Decent sandwich, decent price. 2 pieces of bacon and 2 eggs, roll was untoasted, good amount of cheese. Around $6. Definitely wouldn't say bad, just underwhelming a bit. There are places locally that I'd go before going back, but I'd go back again.

This is our first time at Miggy's, we are not from PA. Super nice people and prices are right on…read more If you are traveling through and need some snacks or drinks, stop by Miggy's for your traveling goodie's. They also have a deli that serves boars head meats for sandwiches. Again like I've said in the past, customer service is a bigger deal to me than price. Why? Because if the people are humble and hard working they deserve a good piece of the pie. I respect those who work hard to make people feel welcome. So this is the deal, they didn't have any hot sandwiches at the time at their deli. But, we were really wanting some hot food not cold cut sandwiches. So we asked them if it was okay if they held on to our things that we were going to purchase while we went next door to eat. They could have said no and I believe with all my heart they had every right to say no. They were so kind said it would be no problem and they held on to our stuff till we were done eating. We came back after eating and our stuff was there ready to purchase, we even got a couple more things to try and show our appreciation for what they did for us. It looks like a liquor store but I think it's much more of a convenience store cause they have a good amount of stuff you would probably not find at a regular liquor store. Check them out, and support your local businesses.

I LOVE Alpine Deli. This place has the best deli food around, hands down. They roast their own beef…read moreso I always get a roast beef sandwich, and they do not skimp on the meat. Delicious. Trust me, I've been going here for years and it never disappoints. For an excellent lunch, do not go to Dales or the Doghouse - go here and you will not regret it.

For years I have been urged to visit Alipne for their quality meats and fantastic (and gigantic)…read moresandwiches. Due to living in CT, I can only go when timing up with work in the area. Yesterday was the first time the stars aligned. Walking in was a terrific feeling. Being brought back to a very happy place in my mind - where every town had a butcher, a baker, and you know the rest... Everyone working was fantastic. Welcoming, accommodating. The vibe of regulars in there jiving with the staff made me feel like I was home even though it was my maiden voyage. The meat and salad cases were two of the most impressive I have ever seen. I ordered a pastrami and Swiss on a roll with 1,000 Island, mustard and onion. I was drooling imaging the mountain I was promised by those in the know. The sandwich was delicious. But as you'll see in the photo it was actually kind-of-small. Maybe I didn't order correctly. The coleslaw and deli pickle were perhaps the best example of each I have ever had. I'm already planning my return with a cooler so I can fill it with steaks and sausages. This place is the real deal. Take away - worth the drive for the experience and meat case. And I need to lean what/how to order to get one or the giant sandwiches ppl talk about.
