Not efficient, overly talkative to the point of being inappropriate, and her own insecurity​ about her work bleeds into the conversation. She was 45 minutes late. The receptionist said it was an "emergency" patient that came in which is reasonable and fine, maybe tell me when I check in, but I excused it. Then Dr. Pollock begins babbling on about how she didn't know her schedule today and that's why she was late and she is used to only doing root canals and they have her doing other stuff. She went on and on and on and on AND ON. I am not exaggerating. I wish I was!! The psychological pain of hearing her talk was more than the pain caused from having my teeth worked on. She even made a joke about me likely suffering from her blabbering on. I rarely get pissed off enough at incompetency to post reviews, but this was an absurd experience. I was also given contrasting information about the cavaties I had and after reading the reviews on Yelp, I'm glad she wasn't able to complete all the fillings that day. Shall not return. Update: I experienced pain on that side of my mouth afterwards. Returned to see the partner, Dr. Behr who shaved down the filling and said the pain would go away in 24hours. Good news. Was flossing my teeth and the filling chipped, exposing the tooth beneath and causing excruciating pain. And it's 10 o'clock at night. Went there years ago but it's still burned into my brain of how my experience was not a positive one. Replaced almost all of my amalgam fillings. I had to get a crown and then another tooth looked like it needed a root canal. Went to a specialist and they said no root canal. I still have that tooth and it's root 10+ years later. It did not not make me feel comfortable in any of the dental work I had done there. read more

It's too bad that another reviewer had a bad experience with Dr. Pollack. My personal experience could not be any further from bad. I had a lot of work to be done on my teeth, plus I was up against a very tight schedule, I was leaving the country for an extended time. Dr. Pollack and her staff were able to take care of nearly every issue which included putting pressure on her lab to make three crowns on very short notice. The work was done professionally and well. I am very pleased to have Dr. Pollack as my family's dentist. I would recommend Dr. Pollack to anyone in search of a dentist. read more

Terrible "bedside manner"... She chewed my ear off so to speak, telling me rather immature stories that only made me feel less and less safe with the fact that her hand was in my mouth and she had a drill! She also caused damage to a nerve that is (over a year later) still sensitive to bite down on. She also told me I had cavities all over my mouth and gave me a whole 'plan' on getting each one filled. Yet, my prior dentist who I only left because my new insurance plan didn't include them, always told me I had beautiful teeth; great at brushing/flossing... hadn't had a cavity since I was a kid. But yet, this lady finds cavities all throughout?! Hmmmm.... she say kaching$$ I say BUHBYE!! read more

Dr Pollack is a dentist who likes to drill for the money. She claimed I had over 10 cavities! I have sense gone to two other dentist who found none. She also claimed to be able to make a mouth guard for me, however it did more damage than help. Avoid this person as she is more interested in money than patient care and retaining her integrity. read more

I had the very same experience as the three negative reviews listed here. The dentist babbled stupidly and used the wand to detect imperceptible cavities. I found a new dentist as soon as I could. The reviewer who noted the helpfulness of her office staff was correct. The staff does its best to work with you to get the appointments scheduled expediently. read more

Horrible! I hadn't been to the dentist in 3 years, and found Dr.Pollack through docfind. I hadn't seen any good or bad reviews but she was close to home and I figured how bad could it be? Well I went, and she told me I had 12 teeth with cavities after using some sort of wand to detect pockets in the teeth. After going back for my first set of fillings, while she was filling a tooth, she says, "Oh, I see the nerve". Now that's not reassuring sitting in the dentist chair. So after a week of throbbing tooth pain, I went back in for my scheduled second set of fillings, but stopped her to deal with my tooth ache. She did an X-ray and found that the filling had been touching the nerve and causing sensitivity and that I would need a root canal. As a kid, I loved going to the dentist. I loved my hygienist, the dentist, office staff, everyone. A very different story at Bolton Dental Group. Dr. Pollack was rushed and was frazzled as she wrote me a prescription for percocet and got me the number of an oral surgeon. I immediately called my former dentist that was 70 miles away and was able to be squeezed in to my old office that afternoon. My former dentist spent 2 hours with me to take the time and do a filling correctly. It has been over a year since having my filling done correctly, and I am doing fine, and still have my tooth's nerve. read more

l feel compelled to write this in order to warn people about this dental office. Avoid this place at all costs. I am new to the area and I ended up picking this office without doing any research. Shame on me for that. Going into my cleaning and x-ray, I was a little worried because I hadn't been to the dentist in several years. Shame on me for that too. First off, they performed an x-ray that I thought would never end. The hygienist kept sticking pieces of plastic in my mouth over and over again for 5-10 minutes. Weird. The hygienist then preceded to perform the most painful teeth cleaning I've ever had in my life. She kept pushing the grinder/scraper thing up against my gums and they started bleeding. She then told me that my gums were bleeding because bacteria was building up between my teeth because I didn't floss enough. Right. Well, my gums never bleed when I brush or floss. I have a different theory. It's because she was pushing the grinder/scraper thing up against my gums the entire time! Then Dr. Pollack went over the results of my x-rays which I guess I wasn't allowed to see cause she didn't show them to me. Instead she gave me a small, pixillated illustration of teeth with red dots all over them and told me that I had 15 cavities. I thought this was unreasonable considering the fact that I've only had 4 or 5 cavities in 35 years. So, I got a second opinion at another office. The dentist examined me and took new x-rays (normal ones that took about a minute to take). She told me that my teeth were in good shape and that I had no cavities. That's right, ZERO CAVITIES. Dr. Pollack was going to drill 15 unnecessary holes into my teeth so she could collect insurance money. It pisses me off just thinking about it. This completely unethical and dishonest. I hope this warning will help other people avoid this place. read more

Please do not see Dr. Pollock. I am extremely disappoint in her professionalism, and skill in dentistry. I feel I must leave feedback after seeing her to save others from a very painful experience. As a dental assistant, I am knowledgable in dental health, procedures, and X-rays. I saw dr. Pollack this year, only because my family had to switch insurance plans for a time. I didn't find any poor reviews prior to my appointment, so I went in optimistic. As I mentioned, I am well versed in dental matters, so when the doctor said she needed to "play with my films" and "mess with the contrast" on my X-rays, a red flag went up. I knew something was wrong. A dentist should not need to do this normally, and if she tells you these things.... She is looking for any excuse to find cavities that are not there!!!! She proceeded to find 8 "cavities" in my mouth. Upon getting a second opinion, I found out there are none. My husband saw her soon after I did, and she pulled the same thing on him, finding 12 "cavities" by playing with the contrast. This doctor is telling patience they have problems that are not real, and she's doing work on perfectly good teeth that don't need fillings, etc. It's terrible, TERRIBLE for a dentist to do such a thing. I am shocked that she has the nerve to pull this on people. It's complete fraud, and she should not be allow to practice. My family will not be returning to this office.
