We also got the CARNE EN SU JUGO $15.99 And I got the MENUDO ROJO $15.50 Let me start off by saying everything was amazing! It all tasted like it was homemade! Perfectly seasoned, with hand made tortillas. The carne en su jugo was really good! I understand why they are known for that dish. I loved my Menudo! I was craving it and it was perfect. The chilaquiles, the chips weren't soggy, they still had a bite to them. The sauces had so much flavor! My husband and I left with full bellies and a big smile on our faces! All the waitresses and waiters were so nice! Diego was telling us the story of the restaurant. Which was nice to hear. All family owned. Hopefully they open another restaurant closer to us!!! They also provide more cilantro, onion, radish, and lime than pretty much anyone else. And at a time when a lot of pho places hesitate to give me a single lime slice, Ed Fernandez is giving me like an entire lime. The noodles themselves are cheap, thinner noodles, which are still good, but are easily the weakest part of the dish. The tortillas are also relatively unique. The way they make them is obviously different than most other joints. I also got a torta, which was heavenly. The bread was crazy soft, but still had a bit of crispy texture on the corners somehow.
