7 3 2025 Update…read more I've been taking my vehicle to Valvoline probably my 10th to 15th trip now and I did not find out recently until last visit that they've been putting 0 to 20 weight in my vehicle when my Vehicles specifications are 0 to 50 weight oil. It even says it on Google and when I inquired the employee about this, he said that their computers states they are required 0 to 20 weight oil but it doesn't make sense (He even showed me). I asked him if there was an extra charge for an upgrade or something so I could make it right and he said no, so why wouldn't they put the recommended oil in a BMW so the engine isn't damaged in the long run? They have a prayer book in the corner. The waiting area and bathroom is clean. They offer you coffee while you're waiting. And they got the good creamers! Not the nasty powder stuff. The bathroom has a little basket with items to refresh yourself. Honestly was the best auto shop lounge area I've ever been in. I appreciate Bryan and Richard for taking care of my vehicle needs. I dropped my vehicle off while I was going out of town. When I returned, the car was not ready yet, as I had hoped to get it straight from the airport. I was thankful that they sent an Uber to take me back to the shop when the car was ready because I do not live close. It was only convenient to drop it there because it's not too far from IAH. Richard noticed something didn't sound right as I was about to leave and made sure it was fixed before I drove off.

So I pulled over @ an gas station in Dallas ,TX. Once I raised up the hood on my car I notice that a screwdriver was left up under my car just sitting there. I had to located a VW dealership in the area due to the loud noise. Once I was able to get my car there the service tech in Dallas, TX the tech stated he found that the front under tray shield was jammed into the fan. Which Gayland was the person who took it off and placed it back on incorrectly and who also is the store manager at the location. So I had to pay out of packet 480.34 to be able to return back home. I called to speak to Gayland who then ver very rude and unapologetic he was very quickly to say they were not responsible for the damage without allowing me to explain the issue after the dealership tech rep emailed over pictures and documentation Gayland then said that he would get back to me the next day and he never did. So, we thought we should be out of there in about 30 minutes. It ended up taking two hours. There were 3 employees working. Only one seemed to know what he was doing. He was underneath the car, and commented on the skid plate. He then switched places with another employee while he went to work on the car in the other bay. This employee was asking him questions about what he should be doing, which really made me nervous. No sticker with the mileage that the car should get a new oil change. I imagine it's a pretty decent value for an oil change you aren't worried about, but the experience made me feel nervous. The check engine light came on days afterwards, I know it probably just didn't get reset, but either way. This is completely unacceptable for a business that's supposed to take care of your vehicle. When I went back to address the issue, I spoke with the manager, Alex, and the experience only got worse. He was rude, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility. Even after I showed proof of my rims' condition prior to the service, he continued to deny everything and make excuses, saying they service a lot of cars and this "never happens." The number of cars you handle is not an excuse for damaging someone's property. That's like we all eating chocolate and he gets in reaction and I say "we ate the chocolate nothing happened to us " everybody have different reaction to certain things . vehicle should be treated with care, and when something goes wrong, it should be handled with accountability and respect--neither of which I received.
