I go to get an oil change and my coolant filled eight days later my car makes a noise. I checked the dipstick and it is bone dry I have to put 3 quarts of oil in and my coolant was low so I refill them myself two weeks later no issue both are still very much full already just one of those could total my engine when I called you at the minimum let them know. Today's visit was less than remarkable, felt pressured to pay for services NOT related to passing our state inspection. I was met by a fast talking young man, persistent to sell the only brand of windshield wipers offered at the cost of $40 each (yikes). Lets be clear, my wipers were operational and in good condition before the visit, he advised my vehicle would not pass based on his visual assessment. I went in for a car inspection. The man checked my in cabin air filter, which is not part of a vehicle inspection. He was trying to make a sale! I had just vacuumed and he left debris on my carpet. He also couldn't get the filter back in and was just destroying my glove box. (See photos) this is a quick procedure that did not require nor did I request my in cabin air filter to be tampered with. he also stated that I needed my power steering fluid flushed... I just looked up power steering fluid flush, it states "less than honest auto repair shops have been known to push for unnecessary power steering flushes to make themselves a big profit they will recommend this procedure as a part of your vehicle service" I called my mechanic, he laughed and said, my car did not require a power steering fluid change until 174,000 miles, I am at 94,000... If I want a service, I will ask for it! There was a lady sitting in the waiting room who came in for oil change and was up to $218. I told her about my mechanic. He doesn't fix anything unless you ask him to and he does not perform repairs that do not need to happen. This man told me that she was a good customer and that she didn't need my information! He protested about it three times! The woman took my mechanics information and said she would not be coming back here because of what had occurred. I went to get an inspection for my car, but before the inspection was over a lady came out saying the "tint" on my window was too dark, even though that's how I got it off the dealer at Mercedes. She told me I wasn't going to pass and I shouldn't go through the inspection for it's going to fail and they'll charge me. Pretty much telling me to get a lighter tint. This also happened with my mom, they told her to get new tires, even though her tires were perfectly fine. I ended up going to a place down the street, not only did it cheaper, quicker, and but with no problems with my "dark tint". If you're coming to get an inspection, I suggest searching for a place that does inspections with 4+ star rating that's not jiffy lube at this location, I'm very disappointed. read more

We used to come here all of the time with our vehicles but my wife will probably change that. She said she just had an incident with the rude manager there and is indefinitely suspending our patronage. She said that she was very uncomfortable by the way the manager was acting. One of the worst experiences I've had with a shop. We brought out service truck in for oil change, fuel filter, and inspection. They attempted to do the job for over 2 hours while asking my partner what he would do to change the fuel filter. After it was all said and done the truck would not start the following morning. It turns out they failed to put the oring on the top of the fuel filter. We also realized they didn't give us the inspection paperwork either. And to top it all of they stripped a screw on the air filter box and refused to replace it. Long story short I will never be going back to any jiffy lubes after this experience. read more

After directing me to a spot, he told me to leave my insurance on the dash and wait. I waited inside for over an hour, with at least 6 different people working. So I'm like well I'm just getting an oil change what could happen . The manager told me I needed to get my rear windshield wiper changed because it was torn and I'm like yea sure that's fine. Went in for an oil change and asked them to check the brakes on my vehicle as well. Of course by the time they ended up checking everything I was in dire need of new brakes. They said they'd check the brakes by doing a tire rotation, cool no problem there. Next, I needed an extra quart of oil in addition to the 5 my vehicle takes, ok cool. Air filter needed changing, ok cool. They performed a battery check which came back fine but their was corrosion so they had to clean that off with their special magical cleanser, ok cool. Oh and the brakes. Let's not forget about the brakes! They brought out a tool to show how worn down my brakes are. Well apparently my brakes in the rear were at the level where they should be replaced, and because I was going to get the back brakes done of course my front brakes should be changed because they would start to "overcompensate" for the rear brakes?!? Oh and that's $170 a brake times 4. Nah, I'm good. Walk out price for an oil change....$115! Now not more than 2 weeks later my wife calls me and tells me this very same vehicle won't start? Take it to the auto shop after jumping it. The very same battery Jiffy Lube said was fine, now needs to clearly be replaced! Oh and I informed this auto shop what they said about the brakes and asked them to check the brakes. They said the brakes were FINE! No need to change them out for quite some time...... long story short, I'll never go to jiffy lube again! Oh and I didn't even mention how disrespectful one of the managers (i guess) was talking to the rest of the staff or the fans that 2 other customers had come in with complaints about this very same jiffy lube while I was in there. I've never been so mad about a place of business & I always speak highly of them too. Jiffy Lube had my blood boiling at percolating levels today. Well, I go to Jiffy to get my vehicle inspected today b/c my registration needs to be renewed, they tell me I failed b/c my front/pass headlight is out, they offered pricing of $33 for the bulb & $45 for the labor b/c they have to go underneath, I was like that's too much, so I went to Advance (which right across the street) & I bought the bulb & I asked them if they can put it on, they say can't but Jiffy can for $5.00, I was like , I tell the guy, Jiffy told me $45, his face looked like this I sit in my car for a few mins & YouTube how to replace the headlight for my car, man it's so damn simple, the way Jiffy make it seem like you gotta take the whole damn engine out, I go back with my bulb to have them put it on, I say hey the guy in Advance says y'all do the replacement for $5, the guy says no, it's $45, but then he said let me go check with my manager, he comes back out & tells me it's $50 now, just in case they break the bulb I was like hold on, you are gonna charge me $50 in case y'all break it (but really if you ask me I think the charge was more b/c I bought my own light) but what if you don't break it, y'all still gonna charge me $50, that doesn't make any sense, he goes back in to talk to his manager, comes out & says okay it's going to be $45, I'm like okay & I go for the $45 b/c I'm really just trying to get things done to renew my registration & I don't have anyone available right now put it on for me b/c it was last min, but as I'm sitting in the waiting area, i can't help but think the charge is outrageous b/c it's only replacing a light bulb, I ain't stupid! So most of y'all know me, I start researching & I'm looking at their pricing list in the waiting room & it says $9.99 for lights, I go to to their website no info on lights, which suggests to me that this is something that they normally don't do, so I called 4 different Jiffy Lubes, 3 said $9.99 & 1 was free (I did tell them the yr/make & model,) I AM HOT AT THIS POINT!! B/c I get what's going on here, it's b/c I'm a woman & they figured they could get an extra $35 out of me, so when I tell them, they wanted to know which locations that I called, I told them no, I am not telling you & told them something isn't right & went back outside to call different locations, well about 5 mins later, they brought my car out & said it was no charge, but the guy wanted to argue me about it, he said well did you tell them what kind of car you have & they probably didn't know they have to go behind the wheel well to replace it, I said yes I did & if they work on cars on a continuous bases they would remember which cars are a pain to replace the bulbs, so don't give me that, he said I work on 50 cars a day & I don't remember them all & if anyone called me over the phone asking how much, I would probably tell them anything too, I was like really dude (well I didn't give them the finger but I wanted to!!) I hate the fact woman are not seen as equals, especially when it comes to the car industry, & I know deep down I know they would not have done this if it was a man & that fucking sucks! I'm just happy that I am person who don't take things that ppl say & roll with it, especially when it doesn't feel right, I'm gonna research & use my resources & stand up for myself even in this man's world! I usually go to pep boys on 45 next to Golden Corral for my oil changes. I thought I'd give jiffy lube a try. I always forget they're there. The manager Richard was very helpful when i called earlier for oil change prices. He even offered to take off $10! I get there & I completely forgot that I needed a tire rotation. After adding that in, the price was beyond what I was planning to spend. Sam & another one of the guys in the service area (I wish I could remember his name, he had great customer service skills, as did Sam) made me aware of the coupons they offer. They run inside the building & come back out with a $15 off and 15% off coupon! After that I realized I do get these coupons in the mail. I just had no idea where I put them at home & forgot about them. The customer service these two had blew my mind! I wish there were more people out there like this! took my car in for an oil change yesterday on the way to visit my parents. I usually do it myself because I dislike going to shops, but didn't have my tools at the moment. The service technician Aron inspected everything was working well after changing my oil and even printed me a detailed report about everything that is in good condition like belts spark plugs etc. On the report it also showed what needed to be fixed. Aron was doing his job as far as suggestive selling and even offering promotions that were available. He showed me my air filter which was all clogged up. Unfortunately they didn't have the filter for my car (2011 DTS). I went across the street to advanced auto parts after my oil change and I didn't have the tool to replace the filter. I went back to Jiffy Lube to ask if I can borrow their tool since advanced auto part did not have a loaner. Aron told me to not even worry just to pull it up to the back and he swapped it out in less than a minute and did not charge me a cent. I was shocked about how well they treated me and my vehicle from the jump. Aron understood that I didn't have much money walking in and was not trying to haggle me into spending more money.He and his team made everything an overall great experience and exceeded my expectations about going to a shop. I will gladly return when I have more money to work on my car because I feel like they are genuine about doing their job. Aron was great and the complimentary coffee was great too. I know I wrote too much but I can't thank Aron and his friendly crew enough so yeah lol. I was treated badly and never received an apology. I've lived near this store for 25 years and have taken my business elsewhere because of poor service but went back today because I was in a hurry. BIG MISTAKE. I was told my inspection would take 35 minutes and after 1 & 1/2 hours I asked why it was taking so long. Before I could get my question out I was cut off and aggressively told that he couldn't control how long it was going to take. He had several other things to tell me in that rant before I could get a word in and tell him that was not the way to treat a customer. I never received an apology despite making it clear that this treatment was unacceptable. All I got was an 'ok' and a gratuitous 'Have a blessed day'. It took in total over 2 hours to get my car inspected. I left there very upset having paid to be mistreated. The first time I went to this Jiffy lube It was a great experience. The 2nd time was around Nov Of 2018 and it was a very bad experience but Different people. Went to get my inspection The get looked tired or whatever he checked the Car first to see if it would pass inspection first I thought that well maybe that's how they do that on older cars . Then he tells me 2 things are wrong but he has not put in through the inspection yet so I can go get it fixed .I get in my Car he left my lights on didn't close my hood I went to the parts place took care of that Went down the street to the other Jiffy Lube Got my sticker asked them to check my oil All they said it you need a oil change I said I would come back could not afford it with everything else. Avoid this location at all costs! I have been going to this location for years but it has slowly declined. They damaged my vehicle and tried to blame it on someone else. I contacted corporate and they told me the owner of this location would contact me. They never did.
