Easy parking as I went inside to order since the drive through line was long. Cashier was friendly and took my order right away. Order came out timely and correct. Only complaint would be that the inside was moderately dirty. Definitely dirty floors and some tables.

Check the conditions of those wedges and how dry and stiff the slice of "steak" look.

Pollo Tropical Location at 2390 S. University Drive, Davie, FL 33324 I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy--that might be considered too cruel. As for customer service... you'd receive better attention and respect from an employee at a government social services office. I had to wait a total of 10 minutes for an order I had placed online from home--an order which, according to their website, was supposed to be ready in 5 minutes. I went to pick up my order, and the restaurant was completely deserted. So I thought: "Well, it's 10:20 p.m.; my order is bound to be perfect." I was wrong! They made me wait an additional 5 minutes because they hadn't even started cooking the order I had paid for and placed on their website about 7 minutes earlier. So I thought: "Fine... I'll wait; at least my food will be freshly made." I was wrong again! They handed me a petrified "steak"--you know, that cheap meat they have the audacity to sell to the public as "churrasco." I decided to give it to my dog, who flatly refused to eat it. I threw the cold rice and beans in the trash, as I have no idea where they could possibly have dug them up. I had ordered potato wedges. Instead, they handed me a cardboard box containing what looked like dry, fossilized bones--bones unearthed during an excavation inside a prehistoric cooking-oil deposit. They are supposed to close at 12:00 a.m. This incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. My point is this: if you aren't capable of providing acceptable service and products at that time of day, simply close earlier--sometime in the afternoon. Be honest: you don't have the caliber of employees needed to provide good service at that time of night. Stop stealing money from the people who keep your mediocre business alive--the very people who pay for the mediocre employees you've hired to replace the good ones you used to have, who probably ended up quitting. This joint used to be a place where you could grab a bite and pick up some groceries when you got home at night. Now, it's an absolute dump. This is what happens to every business that starts hiring these kinds of lazy, mediocre employees--people who don't give a damn about the work they do or the service they're supposed to provide in exchange for their paycheck, and who just like to take it easy. These are the employees who turn profitable businesses into total failures. The economy is all messed up. This is no time to screw up your business because of other people's poor performance. This is the last time I spend a single penny at this shithole.

    Pollo tropical plastic fork
    Jesley C.

**Rating: ** I usually enjoy eating at Pollo Tropical, but my recent dine-in experience was less than pleasant due to an issue with their utensils. I had two plastic forks during my meal, and both were defective in a way that they kept catching on my lip when I tried to use them. It was pretty frustrating, but things got worse when the second fork actually *cut* my lip as I was pulling it out after taking a bite. I'm not sure if this is something that happens to other customers, but it was definitely a painful and annoying distraction during my meal. The food, as always, was tasty, but the fork issue really left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they take a look at the quality of their utensils moving forward. Would I return? Yes, but I'll definitely be extra cautious with the forks next time. Quiet ambiance due to it being 9 pm.

Lazy staff, food mediocre at best, lazy social media manager too....."Best Regards, [Your Name]" ?!?!? Now we know why they are so lazy. That is the example that the staff has. CRAZY representation of the business. Literally what the heck? Take your business somewhere else.

    Boneless Chicken Breast
    Sabrina C.

This location is dishonest and lazy. I usually go to Pollo Tropical for the chicken breast platter because it usually guarantees a decent portion--unlike the Tropichops, which are always light on chicken. But tonight was the final straw. We ordered 4 chicken breasts through the drive-thru. The attendant was polite and professional--no issue there. But once we pulled up, the manager (in a red shirt, so I'm assuming it was her) told us to park and wait for the food. A few minutes later, she came out and said they were out of whole breasts and offered pre-chopped chicken instead. She claimed it was the same amount, just cut up. That was a lie. We agreed--hesitantly--and they brought out 4 tiny cups of chopped chicken. Not only were the cups not full, but each one was barely half full--mostly air. We paid over $20 for this and were completely shortchanged. When we spoke to another associate to express that this wasn't equivalent to full chicken breasts, she brushed us off and said "that's the normal amount" and "breasts are small anyway." I've eaten here many times. I know what a full chicken breast looks like, and this wasn't it. Not even close. Again, bottom line: this was dishonest and lazy. Either serve full chicken breasts like customers ordered, ask them to wait the time honestly, or offer a real refund. Don't pass off scraps in a cup and try to gaslight customers like we don't know what we ordered. Pollo Tropical is NOT consistent. This location has lost my business, and I hope this serves as a warning to others: Never accept chopped chicken in place of whole breast. Either wait, or get your money back. Picture shown - all the cups look like this... disappointing.

I was surprised that the drive thru was not busy with a line of cars. As soon as you drive thru there is an associate named Lejohn that took my order and he was very sweet. My mom was with me so she asked him for the senior discount which is 10%. He applied it to the order. I ordered a family meal dual with extra dark meat chicken. If you like dark meat you have to make sure to mention that you want your chicken to be dark meat and if they don't want to do it for you tell them that you will wait for it to be done. I also let the associate know that I do have the rewards app but he said for me to give him my number instead of scanning my QR code. I recommend to use the app everytime you order because once you earn enough points you can get $5 off on your next order. As soon as I drove up to the window the associate took got my order correctly. I even asked for forks and plates and he gave it to me. I liked how the chicken, rice and beans tasted but I don't like how the plantains taste. The plantains taste disgusting. The cilantro and the barbecue sauce were also super watery. Other than that this is usually my go to place to eat healthy food.

It's a fast-food concept that keeps things very simple with a limited menu: chicken tenders, fries, and a sandwich. We tried the 4 Chicken Fingers combo with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and the recommended Arnold Palmer, sweet tea mixed with lemonade which was refreshing and enjoyable. My favorites were definitely the Texas toast and the coleslaw. The toast was lightly crisp with a buttery garlic finish that made it easy to enjoy. The coleslaw was fresh with a nice crunch and well-balanced creamy without being overly tangy or sweet. The chicken itself was tender but fairly mild. It was okay on its own and really relies on the sauce to bring the flavor together. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with self-serve fountain drinks and tea, and lemonade available at the counter. We needed a spot where we could knock out some paperwork while grabbing a quick meal before heading to our next appointment, and this location on University Drive in Coral Springs turned out to be perfect. I've been coming here for years, and it's always busy--whether you're dining in or using the drive-thru--but they handle the crowd efficiently every time. The restaurant is consistently clean, and the staff lives up to the company's reputation for friendliness and professionalism. The multi-story play area for kids and low price point makes this restaurant especially family-friendly. Even though it's counter service, I love that they bring your food directly to the table, a small touch that makes you feel welcomed. As for the food, it never disappoints. Their honey mustard dipping sauce is a personal favorite. When I'm trying to keep things on the lighter side, I'll go for one of their fresh salads or swap the waffle fries for a fruit cup (though those fries are hard to resist!). I also appreciate that they offer grilled chicken options alongside the classic fried choices. On this visit, I ordered the tenders meal with a frozen lemonade--super refreshing, especially with the seasonal strawberry hibiscus flavor. This location literally got my daughter through her vegetarian phase with the VegeFi burger. I ended up at this BurgerFi on a rainy evening craving a burger. I had a great meal in Dania Pointe earlier this year and was really looking to treating myself. While ordering I noticed that prices have gone way up. The cry and fry, their signature onion rings and fries has gone 60-70 percent! It was almost $9 for three onion rings and a few fries. The real crime was that it wasn't even that good. I may cry as I write this but that was my last one. The onion rings are typically oversized and these weren't. When it was priced at $5 I used to be given such a large portion that my whole family would share it. Now it was one large onion ring and two small ones and a few measly fry ends at the bottom. The burger that was over $10 and slopped together wasn't much better. Customer service also missed the mark. when I was ordering I said and I wanted a fry and cry to which the cashier replied in a snarky tone oh you want a cry and fry? I am really disappointed in you BurgerFi. They recently came out of bankruptcy and I can see why. This is the 3rd location I've visited. This one is smaller than the others I've gone to. I am…read moreshocked that every time I pass this location there's no line outside. I decided to drop by today since there was no line no wait. The service is good the ladies were nice but the food doesn't compare to the other locations. My coco bread is not soft I think it was put in the microwave. It usually melt in your mouth and is buttery but today it was very dense. My mild beef patti is hard/crunchy crunchy and a lil DRY. I'm thinking that since this location isn't as busy before 2pm, these are just sitting there under a light or in an oven. I will say that it was possibly prepared today but just not hot and fresh out of the oven like the other locations. I'll drive a lil further next time as this one is not it for me.
