My husband and i love Raising Canes! The food is always fresh, and they truly have some of the best chicken tenders around. Their menu is small, which we actually appreciate because they focus on doing a few things really well. The chicken tenders are perfectly crispy with great seasoning and flavor. The matchstick fries are always crispy too, not too thick or heavy. Meals come with coleslaw and Texas toast, and both are delicious additions. Their signature sauce is a must. I'm not sure what's in it, but it's so good and pairs perfectly with everything. This location is a bit more tight, the parking lot and drive through area. Where do I start? Raising Cane's has had a lot of hype since coming to SoFlo and came highly recommended as a go-to spot for chicken. It's a fast-food concept that keeps things very simple with a limited menu: chicken tenders, fries, and a sandwich. We tried the 4 Chicken Fingers combo with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and the recommended Arnold Palmer, sweet tea mixed with lemonade which was refreshing and enjoyable. My favorites were definitely the Texas toast and the coleslaw. The toast was lightly crisp with a buttery garlic finish that made it easy to enjoy. The coleslaw was fresh with a nice crunch and well-balanced creamy without being overly tangy or sweet. The chicken itself was tender but fairly mild. It was okay on its own and really relies on the sauce to bring the flavor together. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with self-serve fountain drinks and tea, and lemonade available at the counter. Raising Cane's in Tamarac has chosen a lane and absolutely refuses to leave it. No burgers. No wraps. No salads pretending to be healthy. Just chicken. Fried chicken. Period. And honestly? Respect. The menu is refreshingly short, like they said, "We're not here to confuse you." Chicken tenders, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw. That's it. And the wild part is they do every single one of those things very, very well. Let's start with the chicken. Juicy inside, crisp outside, exactly what you want. On its own, it's good but a little plain. But then... Cane's sauce enters the chat. That sauce takes the chicken up several levels and suddenly you're dipping everything in it like it's a life choice. Chicken, fries, toast, possibly your finger if no one is watching. The fries were tasty, though not quite as crispy as my inner fry critic prefers. Still solid. The Texas toast, however, deserves a standing ovation. Thick, buttery, toasted just right, and thankfully not dry like some sad fast-food impostors. This toast has confidence. The coleslaw is there doing exactly what coleslaw should do. Cooling things down, minding its business, not trying to steal the spotlight. Beyond the food, the place is immaculately clean, which immediately earns points. The staff moves things along efficiently, keeps the line flowing, and does it all with smiles, which is no small feat in fast food. This place runs like a well-oiled chicken machine. Raising Cane's doesn't feel ordinary because it knows exactly what it is and doesn't try to be anything else. Simple, focused, executed well. That earns a solid four stars from me. Raising Canes... I am glad to see them popping up locations near me. Now for the food. Chicken Fingers: The breading is legit but there isn't much seasonings on these tenders.... They need any sauce you can dip them in. Sauces: Canes Sauce was ok, nothing crazy. The honey mustard I thought was great. Their sweet tea is actually very good in my opinion. The fries were ok. Service is pretty swift in the drive through. We took a mere 5 seconds to check if we had all the sauces and the rep standing outside the drive thru to assist rudely said to pull up to a space. It was 5 seconds. Anyway, that's the reason I'm docking them down to 2 stars, otherwise it was a decision between 3/4. May try them again. read more

Stopped by Raising Canes on Sunday wanted to try their chicken tenders for the first time. They have two lanes drive through and workers outside taking orders. They were fast and straight to the point just the way I like it. I ordered The Box Combo 4 chicken fingers,Texas toast, cole slaw, cane sauce, crinkle fries and Soda for $12.49 lot cheaper than other chicken places. I really loved the chicken tenders. I'm not big on salt or spices so they were perfect flavor for my taste. Crispy and tender on the inside. Cole slaw was fresh pretty good for fast food place. This was our first visit to this Raising Cane's location on our way to Orlando. We were on a time schedule so we decided to go through the drive thru. The main entrance was blocked so we drove around the block to enter from the other side as we saw a long line of cars over there. Then we saw young employees going up to the cars in line and taking orders from drive thru customers. This process worked well as we got our water within 2 minutes and our order came shortly after that. So it was not a problem after all. The vibe was casual and friendly as always at RC. We ordered our favorite, the Box Combo meal. We shared our order as there were 4 pieces of chicken fingers and we weren't that hungry. In comparison with other RCs, these chicken pieces were smaller and overcooked. These were spicy and other locations are not spicy. So that was disappointing. The fries, toast and coleslaw were good though. They have outdoor seating. There are no stairs to climb. If we were in the area, we would return. read more

When you go to this restaurant you can either order your food through the drive through or get off and order inside. I ordered the 4 piece chicken strips meal that includes a soft drink, fries, coleslaw and bread. This meal is like $12 something. For the drink I choose the Lemonade. The lemonade here is super delicious and super refreshing. The associate took my order as soon as I approach the drive thru and I was very sweet. My order was correct and delicious. Hubby always raved about this place so we decided to go here one night while in the area. I am not a big chicken person but I must say these were probably the best chicken fingers I've ever eaten in my life! In fact my meal was just so good that I ate everything which I rarely do. The chicken fingers were amazing, the fries were amazing - each fry was perfectly cooked and salted, the coleslaw was amazing, the texas toast was amazing - but that Caine's sauce - holy cow was that just unbelievable. I recently learned this location opened up, and I had to stop by!! I came here Friday night, pretty late too, almost 11:30. There wasn't too much of a crowd, few cars in the drive through, I love that there are 2 lines for the drive through. I ordered the big box, which comes with toast, fries, 4 tenders and coleslaw, they also serve all orders wind their famous canes sauce...you don't even have to ask for it. For being late in the night, I was impressed at the food being steaming hot, and fresh. The folks taking orders outside were very friendly and directing the traffic really well and showing people where to go after the order was placed. I'm definitely coming back soon, to dine in. Raising Canes has been a favorite of mine and my nieces for some time now, and where they live there are no Canes! So comping to one when they come down to south Fl to visit is always a good time. It pains me to do this but most people only write reviews when something's really good or when something's really bad. This is the latter My kids love raising Cane and the chicken is pretty good. I pulled to the driveway and I was greeted by a friendly young lady who took my order with no problem., I proceeded to the window looking forward to sucking down caniac box. Lady asked me if his order was for "same name as me but abbreviated version" I don't have a common name so I said yeah that's me lady probably didn't feel like spelling the whole thing up, then she gives me the food and I noticed that the drinks are wrong so I said hold on this might not be me. The lady then yells at me I said your name and slams The window. Now for a second I'm taking back. I'm not expecting Chick-fil-A service but I didn't think I might have to fight today. Now I'm trying to get the lady's attention because I barely touched the bag it's not even in the car yet but she refuses to open the window so I wait for another 5 minutes and then she opens up and says keep it I can't take it back and slams the window again. So now I'm getting a little bit annoyed cuz she keeps yelling at me like I'm sitting here in a Popeye's line and clearly this is not that. She opens it again it just to say hey the person ordered the same thing as you so there you have it. If it was a man I probably would have got out and fought, but I'm just going to enjoy my chicken. I rarely eat fast food, and when I do it's usually Chick-fil-A, but that wasn't an option at this hour. This place being open late was already a surprise, but what really stood out was how Gary and Simone turned an initially disappointing moment into an experience that went above and beyond. Their teamwork and willingness to make things right is the only reason I'll be coming back. I love raising canes. I always have, I've been to 4 of the Florida locations and this is the first time I've had a disappointing experience. For the price of tenders I would enjoy a full sized tender. These tenders look to be on the small side. I believe consistency in quality. As far as service they are a new location so I think they're still trying to find their grove, but the pick up is disorganized. Maybe they should have someone designated just for that area? And if they do have someone designated, maybe they need 2. My first experience was 4 stars but sadly it's quality is starting to decline since opening it seems. I don't get the hype... this was my first time trying Raising Canes, and I don't think that I will be back. The food was hot and my online order ready in time, but the food is so lacking. The fries are the saltiest things I've ever eaten. You are forced to use the Canes sauce to get some of that salt off. Also, somehow they smell like urine? I was eating my meal and the smell of an airplane bathroom was wafting up at me, and I quickly determined that it was the fries. They don't taste like urine, so I'm not sure where that's coming from. They just opened up a new Raising Canes by the house and it was just okay for us. The cole slaw wasn't good at all and everything else was just okay. It is a fast food joint but the hype around the tenders and sauce we had to try it for ourselves. The service was speedy and pretty prompt, they did ask us to move up in the line as we waited for our food but the wait wasn't too long. The restaurant is new and is maintained well. They have an inside dining room as well as an out door patio. There's a couples spots that I would choose for chicken before Raising Canes. It was a solid visit, nonetheless. I hardly EVER write reviews, but think it's necessary to do this one. If I could give this place no stars, I would. This was my first time ever going to this place, and I hated my experience. I was in the drive-thru ordering the food, and a young employee there was standing in the middle of the menu, blocking me from being able to fully see it. I had to ask him several times if he could scoot over so that I can see it. He seemed as if he were annoyed and/or did not want to be there. Then, I pulled up to pick up my food, and a young female employee seemed a bit digusted when I told her the name I placed for my order. It was not an inappropriate name, but she mentioned that patrons are not allowed to have nicknames. No one smiled. It was as if they were going through with the motions. Chik-Fil-A would NEVER. The employees really seemed as if they did not want to be there. I would have gone inside and asked to speak to the manager, but it would be a waste of time.
