Ordered the chicken tostada. The chicken is tasty. Staff were friendly. Love the self serve salsa bar. Looks like many locals come here as I saw a few customers pick up orders and were greeted by staff as if they knew each other quite well. Plenty of parking. There's indoor seating. It's not super fancy or nice but a decent place to get some tasty chicken.

Friendly place, not cheap but in this case you get what you pay for. This ain't a fast food place. Kind of reminds me of SB Chicken Ranch, but with a larger menu selection. I ordered Combo 1, which was one quarter bird and one quarter tri tip with rice and beans. The chicken was very good, but the tri tip was just okay. I do want to try the ribs next time.

This spot is my go to when I'm in the area. The nachos are delicious! I can tell the beans are homemade and they totally remind me of how my great grandmother used to make hers. On my latest visit I tried their flying burrito with charred steak. It was filled with rice, beans, cheese, and plenty of meat! Usually burritos lack meat but not this one. I've also had their chicken quesadilla but It wasn't as good. I was expecting the chicken to have that charred flavor but it was pretty bland to me. I would order the steak instead next time. The salsas are delicious! If you want a spicy salsa then be sure to ask for it. They only give you the milder ones unless you specifically ask for hotter salsa. There is limited seating inside and a few tables outside. Customer service here is quick and to the point. Overall a good spot to pick up some quick and delicious food!

Back when I was a gaucho in the 90's Jerry's Pollofino was the bomb. It was an incredible deal, and the food was excellent. We came back with our children (all teens) to show them the campus and to reminisce about our younger life together. The place has changed a bit, and I don't know if "Jerry" is still there, but the food is fantastic. Back in the day, it was only chicken but has now expanded to include tritip and ribs. Along with those changes, the prices have increased as they should have, and I still think it's a great value for what you get. I didn't give the fifth star due to a couple of reasons. First, my meal was a combo with chicken and tritip. The chicken quarter was really small and the amount of tritip was not what I expected. Additionally, the prices as stated on yelp are vastly understated and need to be updated. For an establishment to be true to itself, weather the storms of business, and to survive for three decades is nearly a miracle, and I hope it's around in 30 more. I will be back the next time I am in town and you should visit as well!

The line always moves fast and the food comes out quickly too. What compelled me to write this review was because I had a delicious pescado a la diabla, which was a daily special. The fish was a huge portion -- a whole filet with a delicious spicy sauce, perfectly cooked and flaky. The rice and beans are always great, perfectly seasoned and cooked. I also had a passionfruit margarita which was big and well balanced. The salsa bar is very good; the habanero salsa is really tasty but their old version without cream was one of the best salsa I ever had and I'm so sad they don't offer it anymore. It was legitimately spicy. I always love coming here with my friends after a movie so we can discuss the flick over some great mexican food.

You order and pay at the register, grab a number, seat yourself, and your food (along with complimentary chips) is brought to your table. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Everything else is self-serve, including drinks and salsa/toppings. Their salsa bar had a great variety and I honestly loved every salsa I tried! You can't go wrong with whatever you choose, but I recommend the avocado salsa. My friend and I swapped a taco from each of our plates, so I was able to try their tacos al pastor and tacos del mar with halibut. The al pastor was particularly flavorful and well marinated, and to my surprise, I enjoyed the pineapple bits in the taco. The halibut tasted fresh and the chipotle sauce on top paired nicely. I also love a good side of rice and beans and I can't even put my finger on it, but it was just so tasty. It got pretty busy during the dinner rush and I was seated right along the order line, but nothing too disruptive to our dining experience. Overall, the food was solid, the staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the vibes were upscale-casual and lively.

The spot was empty but we figured it was probably due to the holidays. We got chips and salsa then looked at the menu. The chips and salsa were NOT good. the chips were very stale and the salsa tasted watered down. I knew instantly I didn't want to eat here plus the pricing was quite steep. However, I gave it a chance... but we were waiting for over 10-20 min at this point waiting for the waitress to come by. We were confused given the spot was empty, she couldn't be that busy. My husband went in and saw her talking to somebody else. Guess we were forgotten. My husband got the chimichanga to go which came with rice and beans on the side. Overall a decent meal, it wasn't much food. His rice and beans were OK, I got Mexican food elsewhere for cheaper and the rice/beans tasted much better.
