Of all the outlets that has Polo. This is my favorite location. I'll never understand why at some locations , employees act some type of way. I was looking for the beach towel with the cute Polo teddy bear. Now, I didn't have time to do a scavenger hunt to find this towel. I asked this nice employees, I forgot her name, but she took me straight to the few towels they had left. I then looked at some of the polo tees and got a few tees. Some of the stuff is expensive even though they are an outlet. However the customer service is on point. Clarksburg location and Hagerstown please take notes. Abysmal customer service received this morning. I went in search of a blazer that I was told at closing last night they still had and would be put aside for me. The person then called me back and said the manager said they could not put things aside and that it would be on the rack and if I got there first thing in the morning, it would be there. I got there at 10:02 AM this morning no blazer and the staff were less than helpful, even questioning whether I called the right store or I had seen something that they said they didn't carry. I did see in the store and it was the only one of its kind. I wasted an entire trip Out to Leesburg just wasting hours of time fuel tolls to secure something that I was told was there and it was not. Now, I don't know what happened, but I think if it had been sold in the two minutes left from when the person called me last night, they would've called me back and said it had been sold. No blazer and while I have shopped Ralph Lauren for many many years since I was a child, this is a very poor showing. I spoke with the manager who was questioning whether I called the right store and then didn't even offer to check another store for me to see if they had it so, I just walked out and perhaps that's what people need to do with this particular store because I don't know what sort of customer service they are offering, but it's not the standard that is usual for Ralph Lauren. There was only a half hearted apologies as I was walking out the door and someone else asked me if I had found everything I was looking for. They didn't help me search the store for it. They didn't look in the back. They didn't look in a fitting room they didn't look behind the desk. They just didn't care . Thanks for wasting my time. I upgraded my review from one star to three stars not for this location, but for Ralph Lauren customer service telephone number. They gave me five star service and were very attentive to what had transpired at the store and were very apologetic for the fact that I was delayed because of Going to get a garment that I was told was there it was not. It was a special trip and I had to get there right when they opened and I had somewhere to be at 11 and I didn't get there until after 12 thanks too going on at the store, but the customer service line is the real Ralph Lauren and I have never had anything but stellar service from the brand. read more

One thing I hate is to feel like I'm being watched in a store. While I appreciate being asked if I need help, the employees here were down my back most of my visit. You asked if I needed help and I said no, I'm just looking and then proceed to continue interacting with me. Once the first person goes away another associate does the same thing. I have a background in loss prevention and this is the type of tactic that gets deployed when someone is giving alert signals that they might steal. A person who seems to be picking up merchandise at random, looking around, looking at camera, or watching employees. The second guy was eyeing me, and sizing me up behind my back. My son had to stop me and bring it to my attention. Like what's good? I decided while I was shopping to replace the exact pair of polo shorts I wore into the store, and pointed it out the the associate in the fitting room. I showed her where my shorts had been ripped, and let her know I had the same item in my hand going in, though I was really just going in to try on a jacket. All of a sudden here comes dude again. They didn't let up until my wife came in with the rest of our family and they then realized I probably wasn't up to anything. But still, they were doing the most... I still copped my shorts and my jacket, but I'm not in a rush to come back to this location. read more

Terrible customer service. Most associates are too lazy to check inventory and walked around aimlessly. Apparently they are only there for the discount. At one point, I had great service from some employees willing to go out of their way to check stock and other stores to order for us. This time they asked me to call THEIR stores to check inventory. But why me as a shopper, am I on hold in the middle of the store reading bar codes for their products when others are standing around doing nothing?! We were greeted as soon as we entered. Several associates assisted us, checked up on us and suggested items for us -without following us around or anything. But even with the 40% off sale some items were too pricey. The salespeople even walked us through scanning a barcode on our phones to get an additional discount and everyone was very friendly. Always my favorite store at Leesburg. Right in the corner so easy to buy and load into your car. Store has many employees all there to hell you find your size and there is a dressing room. While you can get a discount book from the mall, if you sign up Polo always sends you much better discount coupons to use with fewer restrictions . read more

I like my fair share of Polo stores. This location has good customer service however their inventory is a hit or a miss. It's a pretty small location compared to their other outlet stores. At times they are out of certain sizes for multiple items. Then at other times they have good sales and different sizes. I couldn't find pajamas for a gift in one particular size in any of the colors. They did not even have it in their warehouse location. Tip: If you like anything which is not on clearance and it could be a sale item but don't find your size. Then you can ask them if they have that particular size in their warehouse location. They will ship it to your house for free as long as you live in the U.S. It usually takes a few days to process then a week to come to your house. This won't be the last time stopping here since it's 15 minutes from my parents house in Virginia. And I love Polo brand.~ read more

I purchase most of my wardrobe from Ralph Lauren. However the customer service is horrible at this store. The "Greeter" was horribly rude. She didn't make eye contact at all. Then acted annoyed and as if my returning purchase had lice or something. It's obvious they haven't had training on customer service. Very unhelpful with a return and / or options. this store does have a decent selection of stuff but it does not look clean and organized and welcoming :( One reason can be the amount of foot traffic this store gets and the staff do seem to be working all the time, but looks like the are always behind the curve in taking care of the store. HORRIBLE STAFF. Unpleasant, unfriendly and not helpful. Not a single staff member greeted us or cared to help even when we inquired about something. The store was Emory and they were very staffed so definitely not the reason. The reason for this review was Especially for the short young lady with long black hair that works here. She huffed and puffed when we had pricing quetsions. And barely answered my husband and I's question. She also popped an attitude when I was confirming something. I could give a negative star I would. I was followed around the store by the manager the entire time. When I was finally ready to checkout, she followed me to the register. What real got me was she asked me if I need a job. I wouldn't have been upset had she asked three other Caucasian customers in front of me, just the only African American person she had followed around the entire time. When I declined her offer, she then continued to push her request stating, "...well it looks like you like wearing our clothes...can't you use the discount for the holidays..." Strange observation, considering I was not actually wearing any Polo that day (I was making a purchase for my son); even stranger she didn't ask the other people in front of me if they need a job. The factory store of Polo Ralph Lauren in the Leesburg premium outlets is pretty small compared to the Sawgrass mills location that we are used to shopping at. Even though the store was pretty busy as most Polo stores are and they don't have the same amount of selection and the deals that you can get at most factory stores. The store is divided down the middle with the women wear on the right and men's on the left with accessories in the middle. A few clearance items were available in the back of the store. I was able to find just one good item and had a 30% off coupon on my email so was disappointed not to find more things. All in all better to have a factory store in your area than not to have any. They can improve the store a lot and maybe this location needs an update as Polo has been updating all the stores. read more

Worst experience ever! Horrible manager Melissa. Stood outside with a line of 9 people for almost an hour, while we watched/counted 22 people come out. Only 6 were let in for the 22 that came out. Then to make matters worse, I watched Manager Melissa let a customer in with no wait that had not been at the store the past half hour! Unacceptable, and her excuse was capacity. Smaller than other Ralph Lauren Factory Stores, the Leesburg, VA location has both men's and women's collections. The floor layout is based on the older versions of the outlet shops, whereas most of the RL stores now have been remodeled and share the same look and feel. One bonus, not typically seen at most of the updated stores is the 50% off rack, which includes true outlet seconds which are at significantly reduced prices. Pleasant staff, but as with most of these outlet stores, you're not ever likely to see the same employees more than once per trip, since the turnover appears to be quite high. read more

The staff at the store this morning was awful. We've shopped here many times but will never got back. A female and male staff member followed my teenage daughter around the store clearly implying that they were watching her in case she stole something. They repeatedly asked her if she was done. She was/is always respectful and they did not realize we were in the store together. They even discussed in front of her if she should be able to try on a pair of shorts. Clothing sales are good, staff, not so much. Managers seem to be the bullies, pushing around the sales associates and such. There one manager in particular who bugs me named Carly. She wears a fake smile on her face and the second she thinks you've looked away, it vanishes. I wish they would at least try to look like they like their job. I expected better. My experience trying to return a shirt on New Year's Day, with a tag, and purchase 2 additional items for my daughter was very painful. I have been a long standing Polo customer, and expected a much better customer experience, especially when the manager on duty got involved. Instead, she made things a lot worse. When she said "I can't take the item back without a receipt", that was very disappointing to hear, especially since I have been a loyal, long standing Polo customer for many, many years. Whatever happened to the days of giving the customer the benefit of the doubt, or at least being on the customer's side, especially when they are about to purchase additional items from your store. As it turns out, the receipt I presented was in fact the right receipt that I was given when I purchased the shirt I was trying to return. The clerk who rang me up, made a mistake and rang the purchase up wrong. At that point, I would have expected a very sincere, heartfelt apology from the manager, but that was not forthcoming. Today is a gorgeous day which I interrupted to purchase tee shirts from the outlet,I have done this every year for as long as they have made those shirts, my husband likes to wear them for workouts. I drove all the way there, and the outlet is in on the fringe of Leesburg, difficult to maneuver the entrance and exit. Tried to purchase ten shirts and was told there has been a longstanding policy to only allow five per customer. The manger claimed it has "always been this way". I asked her to look at my history to see I am correct and she refused. So broke up a beautiful day to drive 40 minutes, each way. The manager was not even remotely apologetic, the only concern and respect came from the clerk, odd that the lowest paid person in the store was the only person to do so. This store is a disgrace to the good name of Ralph Lauren. A Polo aficionado for years, I can say with confidence that there is next to nothing in this store that I would consider wearing. The vast majority of what you find here is cheap, made-for-outlet clothing with defects galore. Spare yourself the embarrassment of wearing this third-rate, poor man's Polo and stick to the department stores, or Ralph's sublime Georgetown location.
