They have plenty of other houseplants and succulents as well. Being on the Central Coast these plants are so healthy. So many to choose from and pricing is fair. Staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable whenever I am here. They also carry all the supplies you need for both indoor and outdoor gardening projects. You can even pick up a gift for your gardening or plant loving friend. What I love most is they are a non profit so every dollar spent here supports mental health services here in the SLO community. Easy to find right on Chorro Street across from the mission. Parking is a challenge since it's all on the street or nearby garage. I highly recommend a stop here if you are a plant Mama or Papa.

Great and helpful staff and this whole place serves a great purpose to its community. We watered and potted plants and pulled weeds but enjoyed every minute of it. It was almost like a therapy session. As for the plants they sell, they have great selections of plants with a reasonable price. When you're buying plants from this place you're not only beautifying your garden/space but you're also helping and supporting a good cause. Come check it out and learn what this place is all about!

I had visited the downtown SLO space and picked out quite a few plants to decorate a good size office. I eagerly waited all month since they are only open to the public twice a month. I was very excited to visit and receive some help finding what I needed for the office space and I was met was a pretty unhelpful guy. "We are not set up to hand-hold. We are set up for landscaping purchases. You kinda need to go find stuff yourself." Are you serious? You have an empty lot, no other customers, and a guy who wants to spend money and you won't take the time to help him out with his purchase? That's poor customer service and bad business.

What nice things can I say about Blake at Home Depot?…read more Firstly, he is most kind, humble and willing to help. He always greets me with a big smile and willingness to assist, even when, admittedly, he is "still learning about this department." What I enjoy most about Blake is his DESIRE to really make my experience top-notch. He helped me in Millworks, sold me a Mesh-work custom screen door. Got it installed two days ago and am beyond pleased!! Then, today, I needed some concrete paint, gritty so no one slips, made just a touch darker, so it could match a previous project. Without hesitation he told me, "let me add a little color to what you already have, give it a good shake, and I bet you'll like it." We did, and, as he suggested, it's PERFECT! I'm overwhelmed with how great Blake is. He can bounce from one department to the next and NAIL IT! Thank you, Blake. You're my go-to! Hope Home Depot, SLO, sees this.

I initially agreed, but after that I could never get anyone to return my calls or provide updates. The customer service was extremely frustrating. Out of curiosity, I searched for the door online and was shocked to find the exact same door available for $726, on their website, delivered to my home. At that point, I canceled the order, purchased the door myself, and hired a local handyman who completed all the work--including installation--for just $550. Matt, the salesperson, was pleasant to work with, but beyond that my experience was very poor. Between the lack of communication, poor customer service, and inflated pricing, I cannot recommend using Home Depot for door installation. I would strongly suggest shopping around and getting other quotes before making a decision.

We just closed on our house at the end of January and have had big plans for various landscaping projects. Mike came out, evaluated the property, gave us so much valuable information that we didn't even think about. Mike walked the property and showed us existing plants that needed care, made recommendations on what type of plant could be planted in certain areas....Finally, we decided we wanted to plant a small vineyard for our property and we knew what types of grapes (mostly table). When we mentioned Cotton Candy grapes, Mike said he wouldn't sell us grapes that are hard to grow and temperamental. Being first time grape growers, we had no idea...we just knew we liked to eat them from the grocery store (No wonder they're so expensive)! We did get our grape plants from MIke and they are GORGEOUS!! DON'T TACKLE YOUR PROJECT ALONE!!! Call Mike at North County trees. You'll be glad you did!!

So knowledgeable and gave us wonderful advise on the best trees and plants for the very hot days and cold nights. Being in the country and we needed quite a few trees, and we ended up getting about 30. We bought Olive trees, Raywood Ash, Mulberry, Leyland Cypress, and fruitless Plums. All are thriving and with the advice on fertilizing and care they are huge, much taller than we expected in just a few years. We had something going after our fruitless plums this year, I sent a picture and within the hour he emailed back and told us what pest were attack (pincher bugs) and how to get rid of them. So what I love is that long after North County Trees sold us our trees, they are still there to help diagnose any issues we might have with seasonal pests. My son just bought in Pacific Palisades and is redoing all the landscaping and is seriously considering driving up here so he can use them. The prices are unbeatable.
