Quite a few paths that connect to one another so we chose two and took about an hour to complete the walk. We saw a couple small families with picnic lunches and kids playing in the playground area (it was clear we were the "newbies" at the party lol looking at the preparedness of the other families). As we wrapped up our time we saw people riding bikes, walking dogs and a couple walkers. "Undercover" park, right on Auburn boulevard but not as populated with people.

This one has shade only over a small set of swings by a picnic area/ by the trains & barn. The main playground had shade near it but no shade over the play structures. Kids going down the slides could get burned- recommend putting up shade to avoid future liability issues. Overall a beautiful park w a good amt of shade, multiple parking lots and multiple picnic areas. Too far for us to come regularly but likely coming back for the train ride during holidays when I think they usually have a Santa there. (You need advance tix for this)

The workout equipment is very fun for kids and adult to play together. Then they also have a playground that kids can switch around. When u walk to the other side of the playground they have zip lining! It's super fun, The only down side is there is lots of poop, probably from people walking their dog and didn't clean up after. Unfortunately, our experience was soured by the security staff. We understand the park closes at sundown, and we were already in the process of packing up with a large group and plenty of belongings. The guard approached us multiple times, repeating that we needed to leave, even though it was clear we were packing. Meanwhile, another group nearby still had a barbecue fire going, and he never approached them. It felt like we were singled out, which was frustrating. We were in the covered picnic area closer to restrooms. When we asked him why he was picking on us he replied he will go and talk to other group later, we observed him leaving and never approaching the other group. Great park, but security needs to be more consistent and respectful.
