It's a beautiful and clean park. Someone asked if I was the supervisor (I was here for work and wearing a safety vest at the time) and I said no and he said the guys that cleaned up the park did a great job and that it's much nicer now that the homeless are gone. Came here on a Saturday morning right before opening to make sure we'd guarantee admission. With the hot weather and a capacity of 90 we didn't want to take any chances of not getting in after a 30 minute drive from across town. I haven't been to this area In years and it looks about the same. Kind of run down as you enter the neighborhood and I probably wouldn't walk these streets alone at night but luckily I'd have no business being here except during a hot summer day at this little water park. We were the second group admitted and it costs $1 for whom ever wants to play. They have 2 slides and riders must meet height requirements. Our 3.5 year old was 42 inches so he got an orange wristband and could only ride the orange slide. The yellow slide had a height requirement of 45 or 46 I believe. Despite the height requirements, our son only went down the orange slide 2-3 times. The park was very crowded with people trying to stay cool. Our son cried when he got water in his face .. guess he won't enjoy water parks much till he realizes water in the face is part of the experience lol!! At one point he said "there's too many people here" and I couldn't have agreed more. I went to this park with my family for the first time ever this weekend. What an incredible experience that is incredibly budget friendly. First of all, I liked how the entire water park area was a gated off. It helped keep it feel very safe for younger children. I also appreciated that for each of the slides there was a staff member who was watching the kids to ensure that the rules were in first. This is our go to place for the summer festivities and to get my son to run out some major energy. He loves this place. I love it too. The fact that it's capacity controlled and also the time frame for opening is perfect for me. It's close to a small park where, again my son can dry off and run MORE energy out. Ha! It's a great little location for a water park. A few things I'd suggest for this place is, to have the restrooms inside of the gate so that parents or the kids can use the bathroom and get back inside the water park area more conveniently. And parking. There's street parking and a small parking area but, those get filled up pretty quickly and before water park opening times. There are people who have small bbq's at the park and the parking lot is already filled along with the street parking. Other than that, this place is a great place to Let the little ones loose and have a great time. It's all gated up so you don't need to worry about the littles running off on the street. They have height restrictions on the slides and it's like, a buck for unlimited use the kids. Well, until closing time. This place will always be the spot. This review is for the splash park. What a fun and almost free way to beat the heat! It is ONE DOLLAR (each) for kids who meet the height requirement to ride the two slides. I didn't see this on any website about the park that I read so keep this in mind. This place is so awesome for kids! The water pressure here is way intense than any other spray ground I've been; you will definitely get drenched. That yellow bucket throws down SO. MUCH. WATER! My child was too short to go on the slides but it looked fun. There is someone who monitors the slides, which is a nice touch. There are restrooms and a playground close by. The park is spacious for kids to ride on their bikes and maybe even have a small soccer game if it's not too crowded. There are trees spread sporadically through the park that you can sit under. Minus one star because they don't have much in the shade and seating department. They have a few picnic tables and a few benches but bring your umbrellas and chairs/ mats/ towels and prepare to camp on the ground. We went on a Saturday afternoon and parking was decent. This is one of the best community splash parks I've ever been to and we've lived in 4 different states. Very clean facility with a large raised play structure, lots of spray features, friendly staff, grassy area, a few tables under a shade structure and plenty of street parking. Admission is FREE and the slides only cost $1. All of the kids and families were polite and respectful the afternoon we were there and the park was at 70% of the 90 person capacity. I completely disagree with the "ghetto" comments in other reviews. Our family will definitely be back! read more

I don't know what idiot designed a park for small children & put 2 water slides there that technically little kids "can" do- but if they don't reach the "height requirement" they're not allowed on. My 2 year old snuck down the slide when I was putting stuff in our bags & did it just fine. But then I had to tell her no more slide- which was hard for her to comprehend when she just did it no problem, her brother is doing it & I brought the kids there to "play.." but then is told she can't. Super lame & disappointing .. I just think it's really stupid to put slides in a splash park area where you bring little kids to play- but then have to tell them they can't do it... my kids go down the Folsom aquatic center kid slides no problem (which are steeper in height) ... soo.. enjoy taking your small kids to this park & then having to tell them no repeatedly they can't go on the slides at the park.... read more

Really cool to have something like this park in my area. Kids are too young to want anything to do with the water yet but the playground and picnic areas are excellent. This is a cool neighborhood park. The basketball courts are always being used and the pool looks nice (right now it's fenced off and empty). They've got a a little sidewalk trail that goes through the park and a huge grassy field to let the dog go wild (on her leash, that is... yeah, on her leash!). The water area is fenced in with at least three attendants! There is shaded space, but get there early because it gets crowded quickly! FREE ADMISSION...FREE ADMISSION...and a buck for the slides! The yellow slide is for 42", I think and the orange maybe 46"...Regardless, bring your kids and let them have some fun! I saw people bring in their own "tents" and food" as well! This park is gorgeous. The splash park is amazing. The people loitering all over the park....not so amazing. G.h.e.t.t.o! Drugs being sold in near the playground, people using their own bbqs and drinking all over the park. If the park can get some enforcement, it would be a safer place. We still attend the splash park. It's only $1 for the water slides. I had kids asking me for dollars...meh. Bring a cabana and chairs. There isn't alot of shade, and where there is, you won't want to sit next to the people sitting there. There was a woman in a pink bra top, jean shorts and cursive tattoos. If you do what we do, and keep to yourself, you'll have fun. It's a great park. The more non-ghetto people who attend, the less it will be "the spot" in the hood. read more

Summer Time Water Park is GREAT but...... We moved into the neighborhood a couple years ago and the park was just being built. We were extremely excited to see they had a GATED water park play-area, 2 Full basketball courts, 2 full tennis courts, huge gazebo with ample sitting and BBQ pits and a new modern play area for the kids. But we were let down by the crowd it attracted. The water park is FREE unless youd like to use the water slides which then its only $1.00 FYI The negative points about this park is the local crowd it attracts. The fowl mouthed, pot smoking, PDA heavy crowd is extremely inappropriate around children so its why I give it its ratings. I recommend this park as a strictly "stop and go" location. This place is fabulous for the kids on a hot day. Admission is free and it only costs $1 per child if they choose to play on the slides. If it is hot please keep in mind to bring your own shade and chairs too. There is a shaded cover with a few picnic tables but they were taken when we got in (early) so be proactive and just bring your own. The 3 kids we brought were ages 8, 10 12 and they were completely entertained for the first hour. I think younger kids could spend a few hours here with no boredom issues. Life guards were super nice and attentive to the kids, lots of space to spread out and one of the life gaurds was so kind he let me use his chair! This is a awesome place for families with kids. It's free to get in and have a good time. The only charge is $1.00 for kids that will go on the water slide. There are two different slides. One for smaller kids and one for the older. There's a height requirement for the smaller slide which is around 46 inches. Not a lot of seating so bring your lounge chairs. There's one soda machine. Went here with my toddler, and 10 year old. They had a great time. The slides are only for older kids so my youngest couldn't get on which is understandable for safety reasons. Slides require a wristband which is $1 otherwise it's free. The sprayground area is gated and you can bring in your own food and drink. It's a great splash park, IF you meet the height requirements for the slide. I don't recommend taking your 3 year old son here if he is not tall enough to go down the slide, but his 5 year old sister is!! You have to be 42" for the slide that is far less steep than your average park slide. And they are very strict with the height requirement!! read more

Our friend rented the clubhouse for his daughters second birthday. He was not told the kids would not be allowed in the splash park without waiting in a very long line. Most of the kids did not even get in before they started telling people there was no more admission for the evening @ 4:30, even though they close at 5:00. The splash park was a big hit with my 3 kids. They had a blast especially because of the slides. My 4 year old was only able to go on the orange slide only (which is a minimum height requirement of 36"). I like that the area was gated off because it made me feel safer knowing my little one wouldn't just take off. They do have employees working there, someone is taking the $1 for the slides and measures the kids and 2 other employees stand at the bottom of the slides monitoring the kids. I have no problem with this whatsoever. I even was up the majority of the time from my chair watching my kids and making sure they were following the rules. A lot of parents are sitting in their lawn chairs or underneath the shade in the picnic benches and they don't pay attention to their kids. Some little girl pulled my daughter's hair while they were in line for one of the slides and it made me happy to see one of the workers handle it. He asked the little girl to take him to her mom to tell her. Her mom was ghetto, with a bunch of kids that weren't listening since they showed up. She kept trying to ask the workers if she could put her baby down the slide or in the water at the end of the slide and 2 workers told her no. That's not allowed and why do you even have to ask 2 employees the same question after one of them already told you no. There was 1 worker, a male, who was really nice and a good employee. From the moment we walked in he checked us in and he measures all the kids even if they look tall enough for the slides. He put on band-aids on kids that got hurt and he even fixed my kids friend goggles. My youngest who is 4 did have to be talked to a few times because he would keep going down the slide when other kids would and at one of the times he talked to him he grabbed him by the elbow which I did NOT like. I was watching the whole time making sure he wasn't hurting him or grabbing hard, and I didn't say anything to him except I got up to ask what had happened. And the guy was really nice and chill so I didn't get upset or say anything but definitely next time we go here and I see the employees grab him by the arm or elbow I will have to say something. It's different to hold their hand and put yourself at their eye level like he did with the other kids and with mine also but the grabbing of the elbow to me is not okay. So overall the spray park was fun, the park it's at is big and looks well maintained, I didn't see any illegal activity like other people posted, but I did think the neighborhood surrounding the park and driving up to the park didn't look the safest or nicest. Definitely bring a canopy, umbrella, or those tents for parks because it was hot and VERY sunny! I felt like I was going to pass out at one point from sitting/standing in the sun. read more
