    Water play area
    Stephanie H.

I went to this park with my family for the first time ever this weekend. What an incredible experience that is incredibly budget friendly. First of all, I liked how the entire water park area was a gated off. It helped keep it feel very safe for younger children. I also appreciated that for each of the slides there was a staff member who was watching the kids to ensure that the rules were in first. We barely had left the park and my kids were already begging to come back.

This is our go to place for the summer festivities and to get my son to run out some major energy. He loves this place. I love it too. The fact that it's capacity controlled and also the time frame for opening is perfect for me. It's close to a small park where, again my son can dry off and run MORE energy out. Ha! It's a great little location for a water park. A few things I'd suggest for this place is, to have the restrooms inside of the gate so that parents or the kids can use the bathroom and get back inside the water park area more conveniently. And parking. There's street parking and a small parking area but, those get filled up pretty quickly and before water park opening times. There are people who have small bbq's at the park and the parking lot is already filled along with the street parking. Other than that, this place is a great place to Let the little ones loose and have a great time. It's all gated up so you don't need to worry about the littles running off on the street. They have height restrictions on the slides and it's like, a buck for unlimited use the kids. Well, until closing time. This place will always be the spot. We've been here about 9 times during the summer weather with my nieces and nephews and my sons little friends. It's a fun place.

This review is for the splash park. What a fun and almost free way to beat the heat! It is ONE DOLLAR (each) for kids who meet the height requirement to ride the two slides. I didn't see this on any website about the park that I read so keep this in mind. This place is so awesome for kids! The water pressure here is way intense than any other spray ground I've been; you will definitely get drenched. That yellow bucket throws down SO. MUCH. WATER! My child was too short to go on the slides but it looked fun. There is someone who monitors the slides, which is a nice touch. There are restrooms and a playground close by. The park is spacious for kids to ride on their bikes and maybe even have a small soccer game if it's not too crowded. There are trees spread sporadically through the park that you can sit under. Minus one star because they don't have much in the shade and seating department. They have a few picnic tables and a few benches but bring your umbrellas and chairs/ mats/ towels and prepare to camp on the ground. We went on a Saturday afternoon and parking was decent. Street parking was easy to find.

Super clean and a super safe place for your family!!! IT IS FFFFFFFFRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!

The water park is VERY CLEAN!!!! Disappointed that so many yelpers referred to the area as "ghetto"...The neighborhood is not super nice but who cares??? The water area is fenced in with at least three attendants! There is shaded space, but get there early because it gets crowded quickly! FREE ADMISSION...FREE ADMISSION...and a buck for the slides! The yellow slide is for 42", I think and the orange maybe 46"...Regardless, bring your kids and let them have some fun! I saw people bring in their own "tents" and food" as well! Two sessions daily, 11am-1pm with a hour break for cleaning and 2 pm- 5 pm!!! It's hard to find actually fun things to do with your kids that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!!!! Don't be fooled by these low ratings, you won't be disappointed! Yelp should flag users that use deragoratory terms like "ghetto"...GO GET SOME SUN AND HAVE SOME FUN!!!!!

This place is awesome!! Yes it's in the hood, but we were throughly surprised on the amount of fun we had. We were visiting my brother from SD, and he suggested this place since it was hot afternoon. Free entry and $1 for the slides? Yes please!! Fun for hours and cheap? It's a steal. I even joined in the activities with the kids, and ended up soaked!! I wish they had places like this in every town. Please check it out, you won't be disappointed

    Dumping serious amounts of H2O!!

This place is fabulous for the kids on a hot day. Admission is free and it only costs $1 per child if they choose to play on the slides. If it is hot please keep in mind to bring your own shade and chairs too. There is a shaded cover with a few picnic tables but they were taken when we got in (early) so be proactive and just bring your own. The 3 kids we brought were ages 8, 10 12 and they were completely entertained for the first hour. I think younger kids could spend a few hours here with no boredom issues. There are height requirements for the slide but other than that everyone can play (yes..even parents). Fabulous cheap entertainment!!

Almost didn't visit this park because of the reviews swaying it was a hang out for shady characters... It turned out to be fantastic! Life guards were super nice and attentive to the kids, lots of space to spread out and one of the life gaurds was so kind he let me use his chair! This was a highlight of our whole trip to Sacramento for my 7 year old and everyone was kind and courteous. Hope to make it back again.

Super fun! Make sure to look online for the schedule or entry times. It's $1 per kid, parents are free. Not much shade for parents.

If coaches aren't going to actually play everyone, then the teams should be smaller--around 9 or 10 players instead of 12 or 13. Having so many players means some kids barely touch the court, no matter how hard they practice or how committed they are. On top of that, some of the coaches are just plain mean. They don't encourage their players or try to build confidence--they tear them down instead. There's a huge difference between being strict and being rude, and unfortunately, a lot of the coaching here crosses that line. It really feels like certain players are favored no matter what, and others get ignored or even bullied. Parents pay a lot of money and spend hours traveling for practices and tournaments, so it's really disappointing when players don't get treated fairly. Omni has potential to be a great club, but they seriously need to rethink their coaching approach, how they divide playtime, and how they treat their athletes overall. Everyone deserves a fair chance to grow, play, and actually enjoy the sport.

She's made great relationships with teammates that she still has today. Her coach Jess was really supportive of her skill building and college aspirations. My daughter has since graduated and moved out of state for college. She considered playing in college and was able to reach out to coach Jess during a break at home, and Jess extended an open invitation for her to get back into practice. My daughter ultimately decided not to play at the college level, but the relationships built and warm reception are priceless as she navigates life. My younger daughter would like to follow her sisters footsteps and when we get there, Omni would be our choice for club.

Last minute practice cancellations, tournament cancellations, lack of communication. We had practice and tournaments scheduled for the second half of the season and then an entire month of practice was cancelled right after we paid $350. We decided a week later we would be leaving the team because of the unstable future of the team. TJ said he would pay me back the $350 but only when he had the money (how could you spend money on tournaments and coaching if they literally haven't even happened?). This money was supposed to be for the second half of the season. I have been reaching out for 9 months trying to get my money back that he has promised he would send me, but he has only sent $225 of my $350. He has finally blocked my number and Evan refuses to respond to me. UPDATE: Both TJ and Evan have blocked by phone number. I don't wish any ill intention, I'd just like the remaining $125 back. Happy to remove this review if my money is paid back, no questions asked.

TJ is an incredible coach that takes the time to not only help my son succeed on the court but off it as well with grades. Because of his mentorship, my son played high school varsity basketball as a sophomore and has improved every year. He also has taken school seriously with a 4.0 GPA and a lot of that has to do with Coach TJs "grades to play" rule. Also a big shout out to Coach Evan who has been my son's coach for tournament play the last 2 seasons and does a great job. After reading the 1 review on here I was compelled to add my review to contradict what that person is saying. On a final note, Clutch Elite is one of the more affordable programs out there for AAU and the two main coaches (TJ and Evan) aren't doing this simply to make money and milk the players familes so they can live lavish lifestyles. Both of them have other full time jobs besides coaching. They care about the kids and it shows with their coaching and mentorship.

While I did appreciate that the organization existed, I'm worried about the safety, fairness, and nonpositive lessons it's providing to the kids. This organization, its owners and the referees that they either employ, but say that they're volunteers should no longer be an existence. It's unfair to the children who are trying to build good basketball skills, good sportsman skills. One thing that's been a concern is that some of the owners are also the coaches. This dual role can make it hard to ensure everyone is treated fairly and impartially when it comes to team building. It seems like the referees are sometimes influenced by the coaches' aka owners instructions, which isn't ideal. This situation also puts the children at risk. When a child reports rough play or fouls, which are usually against the rules in other leagues, the organization's policy doesn't allow them to criticize the referees. Because of this, referees aren't held responsible for their actions, no matter how they play. I've seen firsthand how children can get hurt, scratched, and learn bad playing habits during games. These incidents really show how the organization isn't doing enough to look out for the kids. Plus, the organization's structure seems a bit biased. With multiple owners and coaches involved, there's a chance for favoritism and unfair treatment. Since there are so many great youth basketball programs in the Sacramento area, like Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, and Natomas, I would suggest thinking about other options for your child. Making sure your kids are safe and happy should be your main focus.
