I trusted Take 5 Oil Change for a routine oil change and it resulted in serious engine damage and…read morenearly destroying my engine. The problems started immediately. When I arrived, staff refused to honor a valid coupon and said their manager would be upset if they used it. When I asked where that restriction was listed, they couldn't explain. The coupon scanned perfectly without any override, proving it was valid. During the service, I was told my coolant was low but it was never topped off, even though fluid top-offs are advertised as part of the service. Even worse, the invoice marked the coolant level as safe when it was actually below the low indicator. The most serious issue involved the oil filter housing. A technician even mentioned something seemed wrong with it, yet they proceeded anyway. During the oil change they discarded a critical internal tube and reassembled the housing incorrectly, which caused the oil filter to be crushed and the engine to be starved of oil. Shortly after the service my vehicle began throwing multiple warnings: low oil pressure, check engine light, AWD malfunction, charging system warning, and the engine stalled. An independent repair shop later confirmed the oil filter housing was missing a critical component and had been installed incorrectly. They told me the vehicle should never have been released in that condition and that I was lucky the engine wasn't completely destroyed. This negligence cost me $969.07 in repairs, loss of use of my vehicle, and ongoing concern about long-term engine reliability. To make matters worse, customer service has been just as bad as the service itself. I reported the issue to both the location and corporate and received no response for over a month. Only after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau did they open a claim. Even then, my documents weren't included in the case file, I had to resubmit everything, timelines were missed, and the case notes were inaccurate. The issue is still unresolved. If you care about your vehicle, think twice before trusting it here. What should have been a simple oil change turned into expensive repairs and a potentially destroyed engine.

Waited in the bay for 18min and had yet to have anyone check me in or do anything to my vehicle. There were 4 guys working on the vehicle next to me with the 4 guy standing around doing nothing. Very inefficient operation. I decided to head to Valvoline and they had me in and out in 11min. Wont be back ever

I needed a repair done, and called over a week in advance and spoke with Cheyenne. She said that my vehicle would be done for sure in one day so we made an appointment for the following week. So, I dropped my car off the night before to have to looked at right in the morning. I got a call at 8am that they looked at my car, and this is what it needed and would be done later in the day. I called back at 5:15pm, and the guy that answered the phone told me it wasn't ready yet. I asked him when he thought it would be ready, and he instantly got an attitude with me. I don't think my question was unreasonable nor did it get angry that it wasn't ready. He starts rattling off everything they did, and what they still needed to do. I'm not unintelligent when it comes to car repairs, and I know what they needed to do should have taken 4 hours tops. Why they had my car all day and then get mad when I ask a question was really weird. He then told me my car would be ready in the morning- even though I was told twice it would be done the same day, whatever I had the next day off anyway. Later in the evening Cheyenne calls me to tell me that my car is ready. So we went to pick it up, and at least it came in under budget. I always find her very pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. The guy however, was a world class asshole. Based upon that interaction alone, I won't bring my own car here anymore, but others in my household probably will. When you are shelling out a few grand for a repair, you kind of expect to at least get a phone call if they are running behind in the repair time. And they damn well better be nice when you call for an update!
