I used Badger for a number of years but not anymore. Today I brought in 4new tires and 4 old tires still on the rims for a switch out. I assumed I'd get a fair price since I'd always received one before. I stopped back later, picked up the new tires as well as the old ones and was absolutely floored to be charged over 160 dollars, and mind you, that was without disposal. That is a complete rip off. it depends who you work with at these store. I came in last week and this guy was Spanish speaking and English speaking. I went to get different tires. he was doing a job with another guest. so I was next in line. then then their was more customers coming in that was Spanish speaking and proceeds help them and work on their vehicle before he gets to mine. so I spend a good hour in there which was a 20 minutes job. not being racist, just being truthful! not a good experience at all! read more

Very rude and condescending. Very unprofessional. Lied about the work and following specifications. When asked about it got very confrontational and threatened harm. Also don't think they should be drinking alcohol while working on peoples cars. Would never recommend. read more

This shop was recommended by the shop I get my oil changed. Saw the reviews and went anyway, because I trust those guys. Not disappointed. The service was quick, affordable, and friendly. Was able to find the right size tire, which I was striking out finding used at other stores. Apparently, a P235/55/R18 is an unusual size. They had a few. And they put the new one on right away. The first one that was mounted had little pin holes in it, and they pulled that one and mounted another one. Mind you, they did all this without any intervention from me. I only knew about the first tire, because I asked when what was wrong with the first one. Whole thing took 20 minutes from pulling in to leaving. Thanks! read more

Wonderful experience! Someone suggested I go there to get a tire that was flat replaced. They were able to help me right away and got me a tire for a great price! Service seemed to be included. It took a bit to separate my old tire from the rim because I drove on it too much, but they got it all repaired. In and out in 30 minutes, and it didn't break the bank! read more

I've going to this location for over the past 4/5 years, probably visited it 3/4 times this past Summer. Came in Tuesday morning and employee cut right into me Demanding my tire size immediately. His eyes was fumed with a HATRED and anger that made me feel that he was gonna attack me. Then he yelled at me bring it in twice, since I couldn't answer his first question. I was left with the impression he either hates men or minorities or people in general, you decide! Anyways, I ended up going to the East location, only to find out the active manager was at the location where I was just threatened at. Once on the phone with the manager, the manager informed me he was present during the altercation and had already handled it. My only thing is; he behaved like this in front of management; this is a normal threatening environment. I feel customer service is an essential element to a business reputation, this dirty mechanic with obviously no college education will probably stay stuck in uneducated fields of work where he's always angry and want to beat up customers. No education, no customer service skills, plenty aggression and hatred. I've heard of Love at first sight, but never HATRED at first sight, unless related to some form of racism or even perhaps a member of a hate group, and this was all done normally in the presence of his manager Todd. read more

Got referred by Bill from McClure's ( which I highly recommend for engine work, etc.) I needed two riding lawn mower tires replaced with new ones. I was going to leave them and come back later when they were done. I was told they'd be done in 15 minutes. Well, 10 minutes later I was on my way home with the new tires mounted! These guys were awesome and with some humor thrown in free of charge! Reasonable too, very reasonable. I highly recommend Badger State and will be back for ANY future tire needs! Usually I have a great experience here. Not sure if they've just got some new employees, but the customer service has been the worst lately. I don't mind waiting, but not being acknowledged for over 20 minutes is ridiculous. The employee was clearly upset while taking my payment, throwing desk items in drawers and slamming them, sighing every 2 min. After payment, this same employee started yelling things at me as I was out of the office and walking to my car. Thinking there may have been an issue with payment I went back. He proceeded to yell at me about how I was going to leave a bad review. Asked what the problem was, and then interrupted every time I tried to tell him what my issue was. Having a bad day doesn't earn you a bad review. But harassing your customers sure does, in front of other waiting to pay customers at that. read more

I've been here three times within the last couple of years with tire troubles and I've never had to get a new tire, they've always been able to fix the tire. Either they plugged up the tire where there was a nail or they've replaced the air valve. They're not the friendliest people, but they get the job done and they get it done fast. They'll ask what's wrong, you give them your spiel, and then they go straight to work. My last visit I was told when repairing the tire either we could do it the easy way or the right way. I said the right away, and it cost me a little over $15! For the quick service and the price, this is a place I'll keep going to. I highly recommend going here or their location on Main Street. read more

On 5/17/18 I went to badger used tire on velp after working under my truck on leaf springs and I seen a cracked in my side wall that went half way around my spare, and a piece of metal stuck in the tire.They new I would never know for it was under truck. I went there and had to get the spare out for them, then they only had 2 tires so I took the newer one that cost 15 dallors more with credit. After paying for the new tire I took it to my truck and it had a cracked all the way around it, they gave me back my 15 dallors and we're going to keep my old one and he wouldn't take the other one off the shelf to even look at it for me or pay me back for my tire, all i wanted was a exchange. He even put my tire with the other ones to resell it to someone else. I had my receipt even though it was a year old it was my spare and still had there yellow markings on driving surface of tire.never used and they could have sent me to there other shop, I had to ask the other guy just to get my old one back and put on. Make sure to check side walls for cracks and debre in tire, by new badger is a ripe off. read more
