This is a great boutique shop that has cute selection of clothing, jewelry and accessories. I…read morerecommend for gift shopping as well. Leans a little young, but I always find something I like there! The owner is also very nice. Last time I was there I had a bad experience unfortunately. I rushed over after work and was told they closed in 5 minutes. I knew I was cutting it close to closing but I knew exactly what I wanted and where it was in the store. However, I noticed the associate watching me closely as I looked for my size and I didn't want to be THAT person keeping her late, so I left without buying anything. I went to another store and then back to my car- which is when I noticed it was 5:55. The point being the associate at 25 Central rushed me out when I could have had time to find my size and make a purchase well before 6pm when they closed that day. I ended up driving to Hadley and buying a shirt at a big chain store- which is what I was trying to avoid! Maybe this is me getting old and grumpy, but I'm frustrated by how places like this don't serve the average working person. Most people work until 5:30, which gives very little time to get in and out of a store. On top of that, I actually did have time to shop and leave before closing, but was pressured to leave. If the owner reads these, I hope they are open to this feedback!

Came across this cute store front when exploring the North Hampton area…read more From the first step in to the last step out I was in love with the clothes give the style and price range. Although some items were more costly than what I was willing to pay, I loved the simple design of certain tank tops and long sleeves to the intricate dressed and crop tops. Fun accessories included hair clips, tights, scarfs, jewelry and more. If it weren't already having stocked the area behind their desk with a pile of clothes already, we would have bought so much more. Quality seems great so I can't wait to wear our the forest green school girl skirt, deep red rose tops, and few workout shirts I purchased. Would love to come to this store again the next time I'm in the area!

Went to the mall with my little sister to get her a dress, and needed to walk through Macy's to…read moreleave the mall. We enter the store with mini pretzels and start walking towards the escalator to go down to the main level and a lady, whom i assume is a manager, eyes me and starts "discreetly" following us all across the store. As me and my sister approached the escalator she sees that they have a Toys R Us section and wanted to get a picture with the giraffe. So she sits down and asks me to sit down too and I do so that we can take a selfie. As i am handing my sister the pretzels so I can grab my phone to take the photo, the same manager lady comes up to us and says, " Girls this really isn't the place to sit and eat." , in an angry tone. She was very rude and stood in the area until me and my little sister got up and left. All we wanted to do was get a photo with the Toys R Us, giraffe on the bench, then leave. Don't put a bench in your store if you don't want people to actually use it for its function. Would not recommend this Macy's as the staff can be very rude.

I absolutely love Macy's Department Store. No matter which state or city I'm in, they never seem to…read morefail me. This particular one is neat and pretty huge. Many people were shopping for jackets, hoodies and Fall wear. Not sure if school is out today. Many kids were in the store today with their parents. Today, I didn't get anything for myself. I got my son a jacket and a hoodie for his birthday and my husband a hoodie and t-shirts. They had a decent sale, just not what I was looking for. I did find a Coach purse that I liked, but it didn't come in black. If I had to do it all over again, I would take my time and shop for me on the first floor and not go on the second floor with my son in the Men's section. He was looking for all type of Nike hoodies, but seem like him and my husband has every color. They got a North Face Hoodie and my son got a Tommy Hilfiger down jacket.

I rate Bananas on their discount area, because I can't afford things at normal price. This one…read morehas a decently sized section, though all the argyle sweaters were size small. So nice overall, but needs more cheap argyle sweaters.

I have shopped here for the past two years. I have always been disappointed with the staff here. Of…read moreall the times I have been there, I have only had one encounter where a salesperson was helpful and kind. Most of my interactions with the staff have been characterized by haughty attitudes and rudeness on their behalf. I have never asked for much beyond whether I could use the dressing room and still have been treated with disregard and most recently, with disrespect. On my last visit, I was being let into the dressing area and was asked if I was a cardholder. I told the salesperson I was. She told me I could get a 40% discount with my card. When I exited the dressing room to purchase my items I was asked again if I was a card holder by the same salesperson. I said I was. She then asked me if I was a recent and current cardholder. I told her I was. She furrowed her brow and asked if I was sure, and if she should "look me up." I told her I was and asked why she had asked me so many times. She walked away and disappeared into the dressing room area. I pulled my card out and headed to the counter to pay for my purchase. Another employee rang up my total and told me that the cardholder discount did not apply when I asked about the discount. I asked for an explanation and did not get one. The salesperson placed my items in the bag and, though I had my hand outstretched to take it from her, decided to toss it toward me on the counter. She did not look me in the eye during our entire interaction and walked off without a thanks or salutation. As I said earlier, I have never had many interactions with the staff when I am there and have never been rude or unkind. I have always had to ask for help instead of the staff asking to help me. I am a local professional, but I am also an Indigenous person and feel as if my appearance may have played a part my interactions with them. I honestly cannot think of any other reason as I have seen different treatment afforded for other customers when I have been there. Needless to say, I will not be back and am sure to spread the word. I do not think their attitudes or actions reflect the best sales practices or the reality of their brand, at all. They have elitist attitudes and are merely a lower, mid-level, retail chain. A smile and some kindness toward those of us who appear to be "other" could only help.
