    Dog with the blanket
    Sara B.

This is an unpretentious, small motel in a very rural community. We stayed there mostly because they are pet friendly and accept big dogs. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved that breakfast was real eggs and real potatoes (among other selections), not powdered stuff like some more expensive places serve. The web site said "please don't use our white bed covers for dog blankets, ask at the desk for a dedicated dog blanket. I thought that odd, but then found the room was uncarpeted, and the floor was cold. The dog couldn't get to sleep on it. So we got one of their blankets -- which was nicer than any I would give my dog. Happy with the place.

Park in front of your room! A lot of lights for car safety. Right off 97. Clean and free breakfast. Solid choice.

Woke up to being attacked by bed bugs. Moved matres to see full infestation. Manager did not seem surprised.

    Backsplash in kitchen.

Sadly, the curtains were not hung properly and the whole rod with curtains fell down on the right when trying to close them upon settling into room at night. They fixed it with zipties for the night, and a big clip to make the two panels of curtains come together. The backsplash in the kitchen had been torn off the wall and never replaced - so open, torn wallboard was all that remained. No hangers on the clothes rack. The single bathroom outlet did not work. Breakfast hours were not what the front desk stated, with non-English speaking cook cutting food off one hour early. No room service - and when that was pointed out, they did come but only emptied one of the two garbages. No bathmat was provided so had to step out of shower onto slippery floor or use one of the two small hand towels on the floor. They managed to put a bath mat in the room one morning, then it promptly disappeared. Snippy front desk staff. I guess she got tired of fixing things.

Comfortable, clean, small town friendly and amazing family- and group-sized rooms for a great price. The bed was comfortable and we had a family room with 3 queens plus 2 twin bunk beds. The breakfast room is across the parking lot. The coffee is always fresh and the continental breakfast includes just cracked eggs, breakfast sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy and a waffle iron and fixings. Not much for fresh fruit or cereal. Parking was easy. Nice place. I will be back - often.

This is an awesome little motel. Great customer service. Rooms are clean. Full Buffett breakfast was the best I've ever had at a motel. The flowers they put all over was very inviting.

Nice folks. They upgraded my mother to a suite for free when someone had smoked in her room.

Went across the street in the morning and powered up with a large Columbian coffee at the Pilot along with some mini-Cinnabons. Took a shower in the clean bathroom and then drove along the Columbia River to my destination in Dayton, Washington. A thank you to all the folks at Three Rivers Inn for making it happen! Oh btw, when you're in the parking lot, look up over the roof to see all of those boulders precariously hanging on the side of the mountain above the motel. Another thing to be thankful for as you safely drive away.

Unless you are a prissy perfectionist, I think most people wouldn't have any issues in staying here for a few nights. The staff is courteous and helpful. My room and bathroom are very clean. If it weren't for the tanks outside, I'd a pretty nice view of the canyon walls that are around the area. The Wi-Fi is free, has good signal strength so far and is secured (woohoo). I'm not sure if this is in all rooms, but the writing table has no chair. And, the other chairs are too low to be used. Oh, well. I can live without it (even when provided, I seldom use it). A large display clock with 2 outlets. However, the light casts a glow bright enough that it may bother some people (just unplug it). I found the bed to be very comfortable. Despite being across the street from one truck stop, and several hundred feet from another, the place was pretty quiet for a Friday night. My only complaint is that they don't have guest laundry facilities. And, there doesn't appear to be any in the immediate area (not sure if the truck stop has it. But, even if they do, I wouldn't want to interfer with a trucker's schedule). Breakfast was a basic Continental type. Coffee, juice, cereal, fresh fruit, bagels and donuts, along with the accompaniments to go with whatever you had. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. And, another night or two wouldn't have been an issue.

tl;dr -- yes this hotel has no alcohol, but those rating it poorly (esp 1*) because of said policy…read moreis (IMHO) EXTREMELY over the top! Stayed here for a night to attend a concert. Having travelled a lot the past few years for work (80+ nights/year in a hotel), I've become quite picky in my hotel selection. Got to say, I had very, Very, VERY low hopes for this place, but... WOW!!! Room was quite large, VERY clean, extremely friendly staff, food court had an OK selection of food (and was EXTREMELY reasonably priced), and to top it off, hotel was also VERY reasonably priced. So... Why am I giving it 4* instead of 5*? No alcohol. Yakima Nation Tribal laws apparently ban alcohol, and as it's a Native American casino, that means hotel doesn't serve alcohol. Moreover, when checking in, much like when signing that you won't smoke in the room, bring a pet (without declaration), etc., also sign that you won't be drinking alcohol in the room. Truth be told, didn't even realize (until I started researching when my concert tickets mentioned no alcohol) that there is literally no alcohol at this hotel/casino/concert venue. That said, (a) they have a mini fridge in the room, and (b) there was a group in front of us at check-in that was open-carrying a 12-pack of white claw -- not advocating that you circumvent the rules, just pointing out my observations.

Menu was salmon, prime rib, shrimp three ways, bakers, Mac cheese, orange chicken, etc. we arrived at the open and they were already out of all but well done prime rib. They were getting hit hard and no food.
