The most beautiful little trattoria and NON-tourist trap! Trust the reviews! The carbonara is mouth watering and so divine. I crave it to this day living in California. Thank you to the oh so patient gentleman staff who - when I accidentally knocked over a wine glass that shattered everywhere - cleaned it up steadfastly and made a joke - making me feel less bad / embarrassed about wasting the precious wine.....(That should be an Italian crime!!!)

A perfect finish to the meal. Note - we enjoyed our limoncello before I thought to take a pic ‍

This was one of THE best casual meals we had in Rome. We arrived just after 3p, which is an off-time so were able to be seated immediately. We started with a bottle of wine, which was the most expensive part of our meal! The pizza was exceptional, and my tuna salad was fresh and very tasty. We finished with a biscotti desert with sweet wine, that was delicious. Unexpectedly, we were also offered free limoncello when we were finished. The service was relaxed and it was so nice not to be rushed. This is definitely a place I'd recommend and we hope to revisit.

This was the perfect end to our trip to Italy! The food was amazing! The owners are the nicest people and you can tell the staff is a family! (That we left feeling part of that family) Our pallets were so happy and I left wanting to recreate everything we ate. I enjoyed the best tiramisu I have ever had, that was more of a custard consistency and the espresso/liquor was not overbearing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Rome!

Some of the best service we had while in Rome. The restaurant is family owned so everyone we talked to was part of the family. Even the owner spoke to us during our trip. We loved the food as well. Highly recommend.

Amazing food, amazing and helpful staff! Very accommodating in assisting us for recommendations and the food was way beyond better than expected. Thank you Emiliano for being our main server and thank you for the experience with your awesome personality.

This place was incredible! The food was absolutely phenomenal. We had pizza, pasta and meat and all were perfect and flavorful. The service was fast and our waiters were all very helpful and kind. The interior was really cozy and quaint. If you do go here, you MUST have the Tiramisu. They are well known for their dessert and it was the best I've had in Italy. Bonus points: this is the place where Italian locals go! NOT A TOURIST TRAP!

On our last night in Rome, we were in search of good pizza. So happy we went to Ponte e Parione. The pizza was amazing but the real star of the show was the bruschetta. That was hands down one of the best things I ate while in Italy. I'll come back!

On one of the side streets near Piazza Navona, a little less crowded than the piazza. This was a great place to have lunch. All of the food was great, including pasta, pizza, and seafood dishes. The peroni on tap was also quite refreshing on a hot day.

After a hot and steamy walking afternoon in Rome I found myself starving and staring at the Ponte e Parione sign and decided to give them a try. There was a welcoming lady making fresh pasta at the door and friendly waiters ready to assist. After a quick glance at their menu, the waiter suggested the ravioli (which he grabbed from the lady who was making them fresh ;)) and it didn't disappoint, they were perfectly cooked and tasted light and fresh. Burrata crostini was OK, not good or bad. Ambiance is your typical Italian restaurant with friendly banter amongst staff and with guests. I got in at the right time as it got busy and there was a line waiting for tables when I left. If I'm back in the area I will def go back to this restaurant to try their pizzas. I saw lots of pizzas coming out of the kitchen and they all looked delicious.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food, the service, the family atmosphere all amazing. This was one of our highlights in Rome. The owners Ibi and Marco made you feel like family. We had such a fantastic time and the food was spectacular. We waited an hour to get in and it was worth it.

Daniel, the son of the chef and part owner was gracious and conversational and made great recommendations for our dinner. We started with a crispy sage leaf appetizer made simply with sage leaves lightly battered and fried in olive oil. Yummy! All of the pasta is made fresh and Mary selected Ravioli ricotta e Spinach while I selected Saltimbocca alla romana (Veal slices in Roman style) and both dishes were delicious. After dinner we opted out of dessert, but Daniel brought a treat to the table consisting of two sugar coated cookies and suggested we soaking them in our wine as a final treat. They were Wonderful! So far one of the best meals we have had in Rome. We would both highly recommend this restaurant, both for the family atmosphere and the great food. We hope to return before leaving Rome.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

I had possibly the most amazing chick food pasta a girl could imagine. Girls know what girl food is. The pasta in Italy is just better -obviously. But then put all sorts of girl flavors on it like Lemon and Orange, just lightly enough, zest with a small hint of cheese-..... omgosh. Yes, yes, and yes. Need my hubs to replicate at home. He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. This is the place. There are possibly 4 tables inside. It's small. I read about them being rude- we did not have that problem. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.
