I'm so happy I found this place. Seriously the sweetest person ever, and a Lash god. Her shop is super cute too. I made the horrible mistake of going to a random boutique to get a lash perm done, clearly by someone who has no idea what they were doing. My lashes were so bad, and so far curled that each lash basically made a little circle. It's just as bad as you can imagine it. Texted her this morning and luckily she was able to fit me in today, and she was really informative about the current situation of my lashes and what she would try to do for me to fix them. I didn't even think it would be possible to fix them, I feel like I have pretty decent length lashes ,but the way the original perm came out it looked like I had no lashes .BUT she was was able to bring them back to life. Ok, never had lash extensions done before, but my friends raved about it so I went on Yelp. Found Lash Lair and booked an appt because of the great reviews. I am glad I did because, I LOVEEEEEETTTT! Today was the FIRST time I've ever had anything done to my lashes (perm and tint) and I'm hooked and will be visiting Jeanette again....here's why: First, she is extremely friendly and comfortable to hand out with....which is important to me whenever I'm trusting someone with an important part of my body (like my EYES). Second, she has high personal standards. She explained to me why she is meticulous about doing lashes the correct way and how if they are done incorrectly (like at many salons) you can end up losing lashes permanently. She uses nothing but the best and is conscientious of maintaining the client's natural lashes in case they decided to go back to au natural! Third, before she started she showed me every item that she was going to use on me and explained every step of the process. Fourth, she let me know what she was doing as she was doing it so I didn't feel "in the dark." Fifth, she did an AMAZING job!! I'm really please with my lashes. My lashes are naturally long and I'm on a budget so I couldn't invest in extensions at this time so instead I had my lashes permed and tinted. As soon as they were done they look PERFECT and like I did have extensions. I do NOT need to wear mascara, which I LOVE since low-maintenance is important to me. I'm THRILLED. I've been seeing Jenneath for over 2 years so this post is long overdue.. She is seriously the best!! I've been to another lash place in SJ and there's no competition.. Jenneath's lashes are natural, yet full, and I have very little fall out!
