Worst spray tan I have ever had!! I am so disappointed. I paid over $30 for a spray tan solution that left me gray like I just escaped a house fire. When you tan you have to keep the solution on for 6-8 hours, so I spent the day inside due to the ashy black/gray color it left on me. When I asked about the weird color the woman who sprayed me assured me that this is normal and it will turn out good. I've been getting spray tanned weekly (living in Las Vegas) for years and NEVER experienced this. When I took a shower later on that evening the gray color washed off (thank goodness) and I had a very light tan (I opted for the DARK solution), and by my next shower the tan color was completely gone. Too bad because I wanted some color for my vacation. Yuck!!! read more

I unfortunately have to give this place a one star review because of the stains that it caused in my armpits. I have these two huge stains that won't come out no matter how much I scrub. I've spray tanned about 20 times before in my life (at a different place) and this has never happened before. I was not wearing deodorant or any lotion before I spray tanned so I know it wasn't a reaction to anything. Other than this, I did really like the spray tan. read more

I started coming here periodically for brow threading when it first opened - and was so excited to have a brow threading location right next to my gym, my local Safeway, and where I get my nails done. LOCATION IS EXCELLENT! Momta (excuse the spelling) is not only ridiculously sweet, but also great at what she does! My brows have looked amazing every time I have left- and today, after trying a facial for the first time I am SOLD. She was so thorough and took her time to really give me a great experience with awesome results- my skin has never felt better. Although I don't live in Castro Valley anymore, I come back often and I needed to get my face threaded for my cousins wedding. I found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. I am so glad I did! I also decided to get a facial because they could fit me in. The woman who threaded my face took her time and made sure she got EVERY hair. The woman who did my eyebrows actually listened to me and didn't thin out my eyebrows! The facial was so nice and relaxing and I loved the quality of the products they used. I used to go to this place until they freaking burn my underarm.They put the wax when its still too hot came back a couple of days later to let them know and see if they have any suggestion since it resulted to darker skin. They tried to blame it on me and told me that my underarm is suffering from trauma of having it wax!!!!! I have been getting my brows done by the same threader for 10 years (and only once did I make the mistake of going to someone else who inevitably ruined my shape!) Naturally I was a little hesitant to branch off but my friend swears by this place. Walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me right away. Blanking on the name of the lady who did my brows but she did an amazing job! She tinted my eyebrows also but I wasn't a fan of the color (too dark!) My hair is blonde so it's hard to find the right balance of a brow that's natural enough/dark enough. They spent the extra time recoloring them without an extra charge. They also sell Eminense organic skin care produces which are super hard to come by, so I was able to restock. The owner is super nice and seemed to genuinely care about the experience of her customers. Will definitely be back! read more

I decided on a whim to try getting my eyebrows threaded here, and got hooked! Love the weekend hours too, and usually when I come into town they can accommodate me. I have this hole in my left eyebrow, and after the first time finding it, they were able to avoid it going forward. In the end, they ask of you need calming cream, so helpful in calming my skin. read more
