My stars are based off something that really went wrong with my waxing. I have never experienced a wax where the hair follicles grow back so poorly. Every single hair on my vagina is ingrown, how??? Waxing has always been a way to avoid razor bumps and in grown hairs...but a week later my vag itches horribly and my in growns have tripled. I don't even know what to do to take care of them now. The two sides of my virgina are burned like hell now. Can't wear my underwear bc of how bad the rash is. It's red and swollen so bad literally I need to go to the hospital to get treated. I knew something was off when she first put the wax on my upper part. It was a little too hot but still be fine. But when she put it on my 2 sides and under it is like way too hot to to put on that sensitive area. *She knew it was too hot when she put it on me too. Sigh... these reviews. I had high hopes, but I'm highly disappointed. I came in a little late and I was pleasant to find that they still accommodated me. My waxer was raven and she was very pleasant and kind. Very personable. I got my eyebrows waxed and they were horrible. My skin ripped off and raven left tons of wax all over my face. I sadly would have rather gone to Lindas hair and nails. She didn't even trim my eyebrows. Raven apologized for waxing off my skin but I left literally wanting to cry bc I have a trip to go on!! I found this place via Yelp search. Called while walking to the building because I didn't see it and the lady who answered was very nice. She said that she usually runs business by appointment only but she had time between appointments to work me in. The office was well decorated. I was having just my eyebrows waxed. She was very detailed in her service and explained what she was doing. The only downfall was that the type of wax that she used on my lower eyelid (the kind that hardens on its own and no strips of cloth are needed) burned my eyelids. My eyebrows looked great but burned all evening and my left lid especially continued to burn the next day. Overall I enjoyed her pleasant and detailed service. I've been coming here for years since I moved to Hayward. They are quick and efficient. I can always get an appointment when I need it and I'm never kept waiting when I arrive. Very easy to book and I love the text reminders. It's great to have a go-to spot for certain things and getting your kitty waxed is definitely high on the list of importance. My friend told me about spoiled kitty years ago which I should've gone then but I finally decided to give them a call. I didn't know they hadn't shut down so I waited far too many months in between Brazilians so that first time back was a little rough but the follow up was sooo much better I could hardly feel it and the followups are cheaper than places like EWC. For someone like me with real delicate skin & thin hair and only come to get cleaned up every 45 to 60 days, my recommendation would be not to come here. The wax product they use is really thick and I think took the top layer of skin off. Im Asian and after a little over a week my skin had a really bad reaction. I have bumps under my arms and around my private area and skin is really itchy. I'm so uncomfortable I can't even wear any panties as it bothers when rubbing against my skin. My man could not believe it as usually my skin is as soft as a babies behind. So bottoms line This place may be for others that grow lots of hair or need a regular wax but for someone like me, you have have been warned. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. read more

I've been here a couple times and Tracy is my waxer! She is super sweet and easy to talk to. She does an amazing job waxing my brows and she uses the tweezers to make sure you're all cleaned up. I normally go to European, but they were fully booked so I decided to give Spoiled Kitty a try since I was reccomend we by a friend. I have come here before and did not have a problem but this experience was not quite the same. I will start by saying my waxer was very polite and kind to me. However, I found the wax to be much more painful than my usual waxes and took considerably longer. When I got home I noticed many, very obvious, hairs leftover :( and my skin much more irritated than usual. Pretty disappointed with the result from what I endured. I've been to Diana twice now for a full Brazilian and full leg wax and let me tell u she kills it every time! The after results are so clean and last forever. Blanca is the ABSOLUTE best! I used to go to European Wax Center, and absolutely hated the experience there. The girls there rush and don't really care about you. They also all follow the same Brazilian wax procedure, which is about 4 strips and barely any clean up. Blanca takes her time, talks to you, and is BY FAR the best waxer I've ever encountered. She gets EVERYTHING and you don't leave with any stubble anywhere. After my first visit, she remembered me which was really nice and added a personal touch. She makes it as painless as possible. I have been seeing Blanca regularly for a year and even moved out of town but still come back to see her and will continue to keep coming back. When Blanca is out of town, I see Juliana who is also amazing! The shop is very cute and obviously sanitary. I've never had a problem with the wax that they use. I see other reviews with people giving them 1 star because of the way that their skin reacted to the wax. Well.... your skin reaction tells us NOTHING about the business itself. Those people didn't take into account the seamless appointment making process, the cleanliness of the shop, the friendliness of the staff, or the fact that the way your skin reacts to wax is beyond their control. It's not Spoiled Kitty's fault that your skin did what it did. They did their job correctly, and it's truly unfortunate your skin didn't react well. You should be responsible to know your skin well enough to know what kind of wax works with you and what doesn't. On top of that, they have you fill out a questionnaire at your first appointment. This questionnaire is to see what your current skin conditions are like, and if the waxers see a concern, they'll tell you. You text to book an appointment which is very convenient. Sometimes they're tied up handling their clients with CARE, so don't get your panties in a bunch if they don't respond to you immediately. I'm very excited that their shop expanded and that they're offering more services. I truly believe in this business and am a very happy client!
