It's a large, beautiful park with 50+ shelters to rent for private parties. There is even a huge…read moreshelter that fits over 200 people if you want to have a wedding there or something crazy. They have an indoor casino (not the gambling kind) that you can rent and plenty of outdoor space. The restrooms are pretty far apart from eachother so I would recommend scoping it all out before you book one. My only complaint about this park is that there aren't a ton of sports facilities. There is a tennis court and a basketball court. But no soccer field? Or baseball? There is so much wasted space that could be used for these activities. The very best part of the entire park is the dog park though!!

It's definitely a lot of fun, I just don't usually stay to eat. The pizza I tried tasted like it was a frozen pizza honestly, and the wings I tried were apparently dry rub, and they were just too dry for me... go figure. I wish I had known here were different options for the wings (I forget what sauce it was, and I didn't specify so I got the dry). If I had to guess, it was a Cajun type. I do like their loaded fries though, and their quesadillas are pretty good, but if I remember correctly, the jalapeños in them were pretty spicy. Their bathrooms are always disgusting. Sometimes no toilet paper, the floor is always wet, sometimes the paper towel dispenser isn't working, and well today, the toilet itself wasn't even working. All the dirt from the baseball fields (plus there's an outdoor beach volleyball area) gets into the restaurant.

If you have a Bank of America card, this museum is part of their Museum on us program- IYKYK. I also like the cafeteria where you can purchase snacks or meals for the kids. I appreciate that they don't police you, if you just use the space to eat your own packed snacks, just clean up after yourself is all they request. There's just so much to do. I would say the only issue we ran into was finding parking, but that's to expected at that side of town. Overall, a must for kids.

They have rental shoes and equipment with the membership. They frequently change the bouldering walls but not so frequent that you miss out on climbing any routes. They also have classes that are included in the membership that were very insightful for me. The staff is friendly and the overall culture and community there is one that's not found just anywhere.

Lots of room at this enormous park. They had two food trucks providing ice cream and popcorn as well as food options like hot dogs and hamburgers. The fireworks lasted approximately 15 minutes; an impressive display. The park seemed well groomed and clean. They did lack bathroom options so a lot of people were choosing to visit with nature in a far wooded section. I included the sign that was posted near the park entrance. Certainly had me curious!

There's a small splash pad with high streaming water that I sometimes play in with others. Yes, im very much a big kid at heart. Im not impressed with the swing set section but there is one there with a tetter totter across from it. There is a track that circles this section of the park. It's great for short walks or when watching ure steps for exercise. There's much more additional space of the park across the street where they hold football and cheerleading practices as well as games. The back end of the park also holds football games. What I don't like about the park is that it isn't cleaned well or often. I have seen the city parks dept "cleaning" this park on several different occasions. It literally was astounding how they purposely left trash. I said something to them once about how I've seen people come dump their trash there and how it's great we have them to make sure it's clean for park goers. Interestingly enough as I did my steps around the park repeatedly they cleaned it well that day. Go figure.

This used to be called Shilling Park because it was purchased for a shilling from the Brits. Finally it became known as Thriller Park in honour of the highest selling album of all time, released in 1982 by Michael Jackson. Finally, they combined all of those names to make what it is today. Schiller Park is a great place to play soccer, it's a nice field and I have lots of good memories from here. It might be a bit better than Bakos, just down the road, because it's a little bit cleaner. One thing I don't like about it is that the Cheektowaga Police seem to think it's fun to pull people over right next to this park all the time, it's right on the border between Buffalo and Cheektowaga, and it's a very black neighborhood, and every single car they seem to pull over on this street has a black driver. Not very heartwarming to see that kind of profiling going on... plenty of cars with white drivers come down this street too... I've seen about 20 cars with black drivers pulled over here... zero with white drivers. But I digress... it's an excellent place to play and I give it the top rating.
