She was adamant they would not do anything that it was my responsibility to content the manufacturer. I then asked to speak to store manager and he reiterated the same song and dance. Inconceivable to me that you do not try to help your customer - the customer that bought in your store, not directly from a manufacturer Which can happen and will with the other four remaining items I need. We made our selection and could not be happier. Within the week, we were back at the store buying a new light for over our kitchen table. Sara is knowledgeable, professional and just really listens to what the customer is looking for. The store has an amazing selection of fans, lighting, mirrors and other must haves. This is amazing curb service and it was only the beginning. The guys were very helpful and efficient and the store was a nice place to walk into. Everywhere, there were soft sparkly lights and the variety was tastefully displayed. I spent some time walking around looking at the ceiling lights and table lamps. The prices ranged from affordable to 5th Avenue. They have a lot of upscale brands, but this shop is also affordable enough for most folks, it depends on what you're looking for. The store has so many beautiful lamps, when the time comes to purchase a ceiling fixture or table lamp for the house, Naples Lamp Shop will be first on the list. A lamp store that also does lamp repairs, is a nice change from the big box stores. This unique store with stylish lamps and perfect customer service is in a great location.

Last December, a light under warranty failed on our lanai. It took multiple requests before they finally came out in February 2025 to look at it. They said they'd bring a replacement the following week, but that never happened. They blamed the delay on the manufacturer, but after 45 days, I called the manufacturer myself, and they said they had plenty in stock. April came and went with still no light, though Dan Allen said they were "on it." We returned in November and still had no light, and now they don't respond to texts or calls. So disappointing... do yourself a favor and avoid the headaches by staying away from this company.

Got site visits and estimates back all within3-4 days. Best apples-to-apples quote -$3,460. Bye-bye Bo's. Nice knowing' ya!

The quality of flooring selected, and the installation was very good (5 stars). I deducted one star from the overall rating (4 stars) because of a $300 additional charge at end of project due to Ward indicating that the installer sub-contractors had to use more leveling product and floor grinding than was anticipated. Not sure if there is an industry standard in giving an estimate on floor prep when one cannot see the bare floor and Ward's original estimate was unclear on the possibility of additional charges. Unlucky us, we were living in a home with unlevel concrete floors that needed more than normal leveling to ensure a quality LVP install. No doubt, a level surface is critical to a quality LVP install given the thinness of LVP boards and undersurface padding. My advice to a homeowner on a limited budget and/or wanting to avoid unexpected end of project additional costs is to hire a handyman labor person to remove carpet, pad, tack strip and prep floor ready for flooring contractor estimate to determine upfront what leveling and/or grinding is needed for proper install (no surprises at end). The homeowner if handy and willing, could even due this simple labor themselves and save even more money on the project. Using lower cost simple labor or free if doing it yourself vs. skilled higher paid installer labor to get a bare floor, would save money in overall project costs - especially on a large sq. foot project. Bottom line: would I hire Apex Flooring again - YES. However, I would make sure with getting estimates from any flooring company the first estimate was the final cost.

In spite of having walked around the house several times with the painters, I, and they, had missed a couple of places. I wasn't perturbed and blamed myself. When I got the call saying they were checking up and would do the touch ups I was ecstatic. Except, what they were doing was trying to sell me windows. When I pointed out this was an extremely expensive paint job and it would be quite some time before I could spend any more I heard nothing more from them and ended up doing the touch ups myself.
