I asked to have someone come out immediately to inspect the pool and assess if any damage was done to the plumbing from their mistake. I was told I could book a service visit (that I would pay for). I expected a call back from a manager yesterday that never came. This is an unbelievable mistake for a pool company to make and could permanently damage my pool. I will not hire them again and I would recommend you don't either. After posting a review on google about this the owner replied and I received a call from a service manager. We talked through things to look out for and fortunately I think I avoided serious damage. They then asked me if I could do anything about the review I left. When I told them I wanted a refund for the pool closing that they screwed up they stopped calling. Go anywhere else for your pool service.

I waited a few days. In the business world, if you make a commitment to a customer you follow up. If you can't do the job, a dealer should have the courtesy to return the request and state that you are unable to give an estimate for whatever reason but thanks for thinking of us.

I decided to call a pool liner installer and suggested I call her to get a liner and he would install it. Again made a call and never heard back. I finally ordered my own liner, cove foam and bottom pad. It's now days later and still no contact from Christina or anyone from EZ test pools trying to help. A return call from the first time asking about this would have eliminated this review and the legwork just to get a pool liner and have it installed or guide me to someone who could help. ​

Because Bob, the…read moreowner who does the work with his team, did not properly provide a seal to the area where the skimmer goes, our pool has started to leak. Since we thought the issue was one in which we would just need to replace the face of the skimmer box, we took it off. Come to find out, Bob did not account for stretching the water in the pool would have on the liner, so the liner now sags so low we can not put the skimmer face back on. Even after all of this, I called to have a discussion about how we could repair it and Bob's starts off the conversation with it is not his problem. However, when I explained that I was going to consider paying to have him fix the issue, he became more receptive to having a discussion. His action in how he deals with customers is not one that I would want other people to experience.

I asked how much that was going to cost and they told me "About six grand". Then they told me I would need to hire an electrician and a plumber to install it. It's a lot of money so I decided to shop it around. The most expensive price I got for the unit locally was $4700. I went online and bought it for $3770 (including taxes and shipping). I paid a third party tech to install it. After installation, I had some concerns because it didn't seem to be heating at the same rate as our previous unit. We called Abramo's to have them check it out and they gave my wife attitude, saying "why would we service it when you didn't buy it from us?". Talk about spiteful arrogance. It's not like we were looking for something for free. I mean I have my car serviced at a different dealership from where I bought it. I ended up calling Everclear in Billerica and the owner himself came out the next morning. He checked the unit and said that it was working as intended and that the problem was actually the previous unit malfunctioning. He gave me some good advice about the pool and ended up not even charging me for the call. I now have a new pool company.
