I came two hours before my treatment and enjoyed laying out by the pool, soaking in the hot tub and sweating out some toxins in the sauna. The showers have this nice eucalyptus aroma therapy you can use. Loved it. The only criticism I have is they need better signage from the lobby. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been trying to resolve a very simple order issue since May. I placed a $5,801.38 sauna order and paid an additional $99 specifically for upgraded rounded/smooth sauna stones. The upgraded stones I paid for were not provided. I first contacted The Sauna Place on May 6. Customer service responded and acknowledged the issue. I clarified that I received the rough stones rather than the upgraded smooth stones I ordered and asked them to simply send the correct product. It is now August and this still has not been resolved. On August 3, I contacted them again and requested either the stones I paid for or a $100 refund. Their automated response said I could expect a reply within a few hours. Five days later, after receiving no response, I followed up again. I have now also called both customer-service numbers and left voicemails. This is an incredibly disappointing level of customer service for a company that accepted nearly $6,000 from us. I am not asking for anything unreasonable--I simply want the product I paid for or my $99 refunded. I will gladly update this review if The Sauna Place resolves the issue.

Yesterday I got a massage and facial, with some extras My massage was with Alex. I've had two with him. I love his massages but they are different that an exclusive deep tissue. He uses his extensive Army combat medic experience (I ended up being a chatty Cathy my first time and found this out.) to really tune into the body in a way I've not had with other massages. This was especially helpful since the first time I got a massage from him I had just been in an accident and was pretty sore in some places. He managed to loosen up the areas of trauma and tightness without causing pain. He also did some stretching which I thought was great. Id say his massages are a combo of a typical massage and physical therapy and some eastern medicine attunement. At least in my experience. He remembered me the second time I had him and it was so encouraging to have him comment on the healing he could feel since last time. He remembered. My facial was amazzzinnggggg and Im really glad I got add ons, the Lavender Foot Relief, Hand Remedy, and the Eye Firming Mask. My gosh the Lavender scent and my feet being all cozy warm while Im getting my facial, life changing! My toes usually get a little cold, so this made the whole experience exponentially more lovely! I typically go to the spa monthly at home, and I'm always given the option to leave a tip in an envelope or charge to my card. It's always optional and convenient. The float meditation features complimentary bubbles, heated eye mask, a blank, headphones and a guide meditation you can download on your phone. The session isn't available at the time of this review by I highly recommend checking this experience out when it becomes available again. Service appointments and special events can be booked online., All in all R+R is the perfect spot for a little Nashville daycation.
