Initially, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly Emerald Waters Pool completed our pool installation. Unfortunately, we soon realized the speed came at the expense of doing the job correctly. The biggest issue was that the required city inspections were never completed before construction moved forward. Will advanced the project all the way to the final inspection, where the city rejected the entire project. We then spent approximately two and a half months waiting for everything to be corrected and approved before we could finally move forward with the plaster. Even after receiving city approval, the problems continued. The site had not been properly prepared before the plaster was applied, resulting in it having to be installed twice. Then, just three weeks after installation, the color began fading, which was clearly not normal. We contacted Will about the issue but never received a response. We also discovered that the waterfall was installed off-center, another quality control issue that should have been caught during construction. In addition to the pool, we hired Emerald Waters Pool to install a patio and walkway. The workmanship was disappointing. The pavers was neither straight nor level without constant supervision, and we had to insist that sections be redone because they were not installed correctly. To make matters worse, some of the additional work we paid for was never completed. It is also worth noting that the work performed outside of the pool installation was never covered by a written contract, which appeared to avoid documenting that portion of the project. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Emerald. Between the missed inspections, poor workmanship, lack of communication, and incomplete work, the project became far more stressful and time-consuming than it should have been. We strongly encourage anyone considering this company to continue their search for a builder that prioritizes quality, communication, and accountability.

Fortunately ,only the reset button was needed to start the pump. Watching the pump, filter and everything working perfectly for at least 5 minutes I went in the house because the tech had not brought the vac. to do the pool. 1/2 hour later I realized he was still here and went out to see what was going on. . Within seconds the Jandy valve burst spewing water. He had one in the truck. When the Jandy was replaced all of a sudden the pump was leaking. When the pump was fixed 2 days later all of a sudden the heater was also leaking. Everything had been purring like a kitten and now everything had a leak, even the pressure valve on top of the filter. I have nothing else to say.

We were able to enjoy our pool all summer, I Did I say they were professional? They are! I'm very into timelines and communicated expectations, they didn't bat an eye at my continuous questions. Now my husband on the other hand can be a handful sometimes, they were great taking his calls and fielding his requests. If I had one bit of constructive criticism, it would be in regards to timelines and expectations. I know I need reassurance and a lot of information, so a written timeline with an FAQ page handed over at signing would have helped me in the process. The part cost $50 on Amazon AND it took me less than two minutes to replace it! Filter must be cleaned -- $150 -- The pressure gauge wasn't even reading 15 PSI. I cleaned it myself but it didn't need it. Your auto chlorinator is not dissolving the tabs. It needs an evaluation. They want to charge additional fees to see if there is something wrong with it! Chlorine levels are high. WTFF? They say they vacuum every time they come out. Their vacuum is battery operated with a netted BAG! Same thing as the Polaris - it picks up leaves but sprays the dust up into the water for the filter to pick up and leaves your water cloudy (they should be using a hose that connects to the filter).
