The installations (both as we did in 2 different times) went smoothly and they moved the furniture. When we had an issue, they came out and and promptly fixed the repair. However, it's only been 5 years since they installed and "high traffic" laminate they put in is creasing, breaking and worst of all, peeling all over the house. We are beyond the warranty period so they are of no help. We've had to put area rugs to cover the peeling areas because they have now become a tripping hazard. We are on a fixed income and now have to find a way to replace the floors. We are very disappointed that what the salesman sold and what we got are two very different things. Let the buyer beware!

I'm so curious how there are so many great reviews! My experience with our 50 floors sales rep…read more"Ron A"appeared great to start with. Ordering and instructions appeared good. We looked at samples. They appeared wood and thick. No hands on just looking at them. We asked lots of questions and believed everything we were told . That was a mistake! We made our choice including the addition of adding new baseboards. THEN installation day came 2 weeks later and thats when we found out so much Ron told us was wrong! Ron explained the process: 1. Expect VERY Minimal dust. Leave up curtains, wall hangings, clothing in closets, items on counters. 2. Remove anything on top of dressers, entertainment center & end tables, etc. 3. It will take 4 days 4. We could stay in the home and we could pick which room gets done first to make our stay at home more comfortable. LIES! LIES! LIES!. What actually happened was.... ALL items on the kitchen counters should have been packed away. Like your moving out! All clothing should have been removed or covered. We could NOT stay in the home or pick a room to stay in. . So last minute we had to search for a hotel. 4. Installation would take 2 days not 4. Even though I covered the insides of the kitchen cabinets with plastic covering, the massive dust storm from the construction seeped into every crevice of our home. Including the air system! Which should have been turned off! We were NOT told anything about a FLOATING floor or our order being Lux Vinyl. Not ever having flooring done before we thought we went with wood due to the VERY HIGH cost we paid. Getting new baseboards did not mean WOOD either. PRESSED SAWDUST! It took over 1 week to clean the thick dust throughout our home. We went though 4 air filters, still going. and had to power wash all air vents covers. Washing all clothing, curtains, well EVERYTHING!!!!! We had some minor damage to some areas around door frames and our kitchen island that needed repair. Our installation guy Daniel was the best and took care of most of that. RON also did NOT disclose that we would have to paint the baseboards. This LUX vinyl does not clean well. We still see the workers boot prints and hand prints when the light hits it just right. We must wear socks or it feels like we walking on plastic floors AND the air pockets beneath the FLOATING floor are most obvious with bare feet! Our way of living in our own home had to change. Overall We are very displeased with Ron A. And the lack of CORRECT pre-installation information. May we NEVER need flooring again. We do NOT recommend 50floor to anyone, due to our experience. The installers were mostly great except for 1 or 2 that caused the minor damage. The team leader Daniel was exceptional and knew more about the flooring than our sales guy, whom by the way was not new at this. Look elsewhere! read less. Now, LASTLY let's see if our LIFETIME flooring warranty promised us was also a lie or not in the future.
