Then several minutes later came back and knocked on my door again. They asked to video tape the contents of my house. I let them. This is after we already determined they were unable to do the move. Then they left again. About an hour later, my doorbell starts going off like it's an emergency. It was animal control. The officer said they just got a complaint from the moving company that I was endangering animals. He said there was a complaint of feces and urine all over the floors throughout my house and animals running all throughout the house. He said he knew that the movers called out of spite, but had to process the complaint anyway. Like a good "order follower". I told them to get a warrant. The authorities showed up at my home with multiple police officers all geared-out to "handle" what they officer admitted was a false report of animal endangerment. Remember, these movers took video. If this company has video that shows feces and urine "all over the floors" and animal endangerment, they would post it. These movers could've come back with a 26 ft truck and 3 guys like I contracted for but instead weaponized the authorities to harass and intimidate me. Now instead of moving to my new home ahead of 4th of July weekend I'm in limbo. I had to locate other movers on the spot and then deal with the authorities in NJ due to their lies. Guess what the new movers are charging me for the same move with 26 foot truck and 3 guys? $1650, Abc123movers, LLC which I highly recommend. This company is in massive violation of federal regulations. They have admitted to weaponizing the authorities in two separate states to harass a customer. I screenshotted the admissions by the owner of public proof of an interstate cyber-harassment campaign and malicious false reporting across state lines. I'm retired off the job. They literally brought out some sort of epoxy and said they could fix it! I called the police who wrote up a crash report. At the end of the move, I realized they had forgotten to move an elliptical machine that was in the basement - when I brought it to their attention, they said nothing and just left. 4. At my old house they left the garage doors open and lights on - my wife didn't want to have to drive back to the house but was worried they might have done something like this - totally irresponsible! 5. Without asking my permission, they borrowed my hand dolly. After they left, I found it in the backyard with a wheel broken off. (I sent the company a picture of it.) They did not remove their shoes or put on "booties" even though it was raining out and caused significant scuff marks on my hard wood floor - which I also took a picture of. On June 23rd, I wrote an email to the customer service agent and a manager with whom I had been speaking. No reply. I followed-up with another email on June 24th and received a phone call saying that they would address my issues by the following day. It has now been over a month and I still have heard nothing. All of this is beyond outrageous! As a small business owner, I completely understand when "stuff happens" but when it does you do everything you can to "make it right" - not ignore the customer!
