DO NOT SEND YOUR CLOTHING TO THIS PLACE! I brought my black dress in to be dry cleaned on Monday,…read moreJuly 3, 2017. The woman, who I assume to be the owner, told me that because Tuesday, July 4, 2017 is a holiday that the plant that they send their dry cleaning to would be closed, so the earliest they could get my dress back to me is July 6, 2017 by noon. I had planned to leave for a funeral in MIAMI once I retrieved my black dress from them. I get a call at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 6, 2017 saying my dress wasn't ready. This was clearly a breach not only of an oral contract but a written one as well, because she documented that my dress would be returned to me by Thursday, July 6, 2017 at noon. Because they failed to complete their end of the contract, I now must go and purchase another dress. I don't know about you, but I don't have cash to be throwing around for dresses because a BUSINESS failed to come through. When I said I won't be paying full price because you all failed to complete your end of the deal, she said "I can't do that". So now, I have to purchase a dress and also pay her. If she is hurting that badly for business, then I will throw her her little $15 dollar fee for my late dress, that I will have to retrieve upon my return to Pooler. So unprofessional. This place is a joke.

I bought a formal gown on June 12th, 2019 for a military ball on June 21st 2019…read more Tuesday June 13th I took the dress to ABC Dry Cleaners to have a couple clasp added to the back because the top was a bit too loose. While there I was told the bottom needed to be hemmed because it was dangerously long. I had planned on just holding it when I walked but was again told it was dangerously long. The dress had a small train that they recommended I take out because "trains are only for pictures" and with the train taken out I would be able to wear it to other events not just the Military Ball. I agreed to their recommendations and paid the $150 for the clasp and hem.  I went to pick up the dress on Saturday June 15th. The hem was not straight! The back was longer than the front and the front was uneven. The bottom layer was longer than the top layer in several spots as well. I was told that this was the first dress they have ever had a problem with and that it's because everyones body type is different and that they would get it done correctly! I didn't have my shoes with me so I brought my shoes and the dress back with me on Monday June 17th, they repinned the dress and assured me it would be right when I picked it up. I picked up the dress on Thursday June 20th. The hem was still wrong. The front now longer than the back and the side now shorter than the rest with the under side still showing.  I was then told that no one else would notice but me, told everyone's body type is different, offered $20 for the gas money I spent on the extra trip there, and told I could bring the dress back and have it fixed after the ball. When I asked for a refund I was told no, told that my dress was very difficult and taking a train out is hard work, I told her I only took it our after their recommendation and originally had no plans of touching the hem. I was again told about how much work they put into it, how everyones body type is different, how the errors were only minor and no one else would notice, how they have never had these issues before, and how highly recommended they are.

I did feel like it was a little pricey when it came to alterations, but Savannah/Pooler is pricey in general for alterations, in comparison to my hometown (a small country Georgia town). Either way, they were extremely helpful and I could tell they had my best interest in mind when it came to making alterations, especially with me being 4'11 and good alterations are hard to come by.

I chose this place because of the positive reviews, and genuinely wish I had a positive experience…read morehere. To hem two pants and the sleeves of a blazer was $115 plus tax (a bit steep there- and much higher than posted on their Facebook). The pants were $25 each and the blazer was $65. I was hopeful the quality of work warranted that price, but unfortunately that's not the case. The seamstress folded in the arms of my blazer and sewed it in like that, leaving button holes visible in the cuff, of which they kept the buttons that they removed. I had to request she sew shut the cuff button holes now mostly on the inside of my blazer at pick up and expressed it doesn't look good as I now have a thick and bulky cuff with visible stitching, and a visible button hole on the edge of the cuff. The stitches are all visible through the outside of the clothes, and the stitches themself are not neat. I'm extremely disappointed that my nice business clothes (all JCrew and in total cost over $400) now look like this and am contemplating how I'm supposed to show up to work with a visibly horribly altered suit. As a positive, they got the work done way faster than requested (almost 2 weeks) or communicated; although, I'd rather they'd have taken their time and done a better job.

My shirts looked like they washed them and then just let them hang dry. Then my dry cleaning looked like they never attempted to iron them. The customer service was just as atrocious. I have used them…read morefor around 5 years but I dropped a shirt off and accidentally forgot about it for several weeks due to my crazy schedule. When I went to pick up the shirt, the lady was rude. When I got home and looked at the shirt, I called right away because my $ 80.00 shirt had 18 snags that were NOT there prior to cleaning! I calmly told the lady thank you for getting the stains out BUT that this cannot be acceptable for the shirt to have EIGHTEEN snags in it. She asked me what kind of material it was and I told her. She then tells me that I took too long to pick up the shirt. I asked to have the owner's contact information and then SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I went directly back to the store and told the rudest lady I have come in contact with to get the owner of the store on the phone and that I wasn't talking to her anymore. Her explanation for hanging up on me was that she had to run a credit card. After she finally got the "owner" on the line they spoke in another language for several minutes. After I told him of my issue (of course I was upset at this point!) he asked me if he could talk now and then asked me "WHY DID YOU TAKE SO LONG TO PICK UP THE SHIRT?" I had 48 hours to pick up the shirt and then like 24 hours to report something. Soooooooooo I suppose if you are late at this store they can completely ruin your clothes!!! I told the lady she was the rudest person I have come across in a business and she then told me now I was making her mad. When I asked to at LEAST get a refund for the cleaning, she WAVED ME OUT OF THE STORE AND ROLLED HER EYES. I will NEVER set foot here again!!!! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!
