The service itself is acceptable, but the customer service has been extremely poor. I have called multiple times regarding service and billing issues, yet no one has returned my calls or responded to my BBB complaint. Most days, only my front yard is serviced even though I signed up for both front and back yard coverage. I also paid extra for waste removal, but on several occasions I witnessed the technician throwing the waste into my personal trash can instead of removing it. I have been charged for visits on multiple dates when no one showed up to service the yard. read more

Trying to get someone to contact you is a joke. If you use this service, I highly suggest you go check your yard. It's sad that you have to do that when you're relying on someone to actually do the job that you're paying them to do. With the amount of dog waste I had to pick up in my yard on Sunday, March 1 after on February 28. My credit card was charged double $40 and they told me my yard was clean. I picked up two huge boxes of dog waste. There was upwards of 200 piles total in my yard. So they have not been doing any work in my yard for a very, very long time. Check your portal as well. You can't cancel your credit card on their portal. Nobody has gotten back to me in days. But they sure take the money out of your account quickly. I have demanded a check back for the services I did not get last weekend and obviously for many many weeks that nobody's been doing their job back there. I called to schedule service, paid for it, and was told my service would be done on 6/11. This was also confirmed via text message with date and service to be rendered. On 6/11 around 3pm I had not heard anything from my technician so I called poop911. Sophie then told me that I was incorrect, and my appointment was not for another 6 days, the coming Wednesday. She then told me that she "verified with a technician" I was called on 6/10 at time of purchase and told that my service would not be done on 6/11. This never happened. I would move on to the next company if I was looking for pet pickup services, as this is not the one to use. read more

This is specifically pertaining to the Barrington franchise and to Joshua A who is listed as the owner. Incorrect scheduling, no communication, unanswered emails and phone calls and voicemails. Future customers beware!!! They run their business like a scam. There is no such thing as "easy cancellation." After reaching out for THREE WEEKS, I had to get my husband involved, who also couldnt get anyone to help or respond directly. I set up service with POOP 911 and service was scheduled for 3/7. On that date no one showed up. Additionally, no one answered the phone when I called the business number. It is frustrating when you sign up for a service, work from home, and they don't show up or communicate. read more

I used them for 3+ years. The past year I had several new technicians and several times where I was charged and no service was provided. It's very difficult to get ahold of them. When I did they told me they would provide the next service free of charge. Well they didn't. So I was stuck with paying and poop over piling in my yard. The last visit was with a technician who LEFT MY GATE OPEN, leading to my dog getting out later that day and BITING someone- I obviously cancelled my service immediately. The service was great however, when I moved I cancelled my service. There was a $45 cancelation fee which I had to pay upon canceling or I couldn't cancel. Three years later and a debt collector is demanding I pay $45 for the cancellation fee. I have emailed multiple times and called multiple times with no return emails or phone calls. I have proof it's paid and this is just ridiculous at this point. read more

I have been attempting to get a hold of someone at Poop911 for the past week or more and no one ever answers or calls me back. I registered for a service today and all I'm looking for is a time frame and name of who is coming out, if they could call me when they arrive so that I could make sure the dogs are inside. But no one has returned my calls and I'm concerned whether this is even a legitimate service now, as I provided my billing info for today's service and the future weekly visits I had requested. This business deserves a minus 0. They make false promises when the technician doesn't show up. They charge your credit card and don't correct the errors when you don't get the service. When you call they don't answer and the email response is only a form letter. Nothing done is above board. Try them you may like the crooks. read more

I really needed a service like poop911. They really disappointed me. The 1st week the scooper" Agustin" texted and told me he was on his way. I wasn't home but I told him to go ahead the dogs were inside the house. When I got home and let the dogs out, the side gate was left open and my dogs got out of the yard. Once I the dogs back in the yard, I started looking around. There was very little poop picked up. Areas of the yard wasn't touched. I called the office and the same guy was sent back out a few days later. Not any better. So I still gave it a try for 2 more weeks. My son that came home for Easter, gave the yard a look over. He told me there was old piles of poop all over. That's was it. I just canceled the service and I have hired a young man in the neighborhood to do it each week. I will pay him the same amount that I paid Poop911. They should be ashamed rip off older people. read more

Update: After I posted the review, I was promptly called. The company said there was a misunderstanding and apologized. Anyway, I will try them again. Cross my fingers. :) I was happy with this service for many months. Once in a while I did have to ask them to come back as they would miss a few spots, but also once in while they would send someone over that was awesome. I then received a notice they didn't have someone to service my area, service was getting a bit spotty etc...Ok...it happens? Meanwhile I have never missed paying them. But last straw last week, we were home and saw the guy in our yard for what seemed like 5 mins. Ok...maybe they were just fast? Well, the next day we picked up a whole grocery back full of poop! I know I have 2 dogs, but there is no way they pooped that much in 24 hours. I contacted the company and basically said please send someone else, or cancel. Got the message back "We have cancelled your service as you requested. The tech you had is our field supervisor and is one of our best techs. We do not have anyone else to service your area." LOL...if that was their best guy, ya, I think I will find someone else. Also seems silly to take my money in the first place if you don't have someone on a regular basis to service my area. read more

So I found this company online and was excited to get an appointment by the end of the week. There were scheduled initially for March 12th with recurring service every Friday. So the first appointment no one showed up. So I called and left a message, no one return my call and I just waited to see what would happen. Then two weeks later someone texted my phone and then called about service and apologized for the break down in communication and explained how things would go from this point on. So my first came and although the yard wasn't cleaned throughly due to the thaw the second one was way better! So after the initial clean up I received a text message letting me know my tech was on the way and one once the yard was completed. I even received an email if the tech didn't make it for my reoccurring service. I am very content with the current service and as the weather warms up I will revise my review accordingly. read more
