It became such a horrible chore for my husband every week when it was time to mow the lawn. They send a text to let us know when they're on their way so we can get the dogs inside and they send a picture of our closed gate when they leave. They are quiet too. Our very barky dogs have no idea that they have come and gone. They are thorough and quick and we appreciate them so much!

I hate having to update this, but Scoop Soldiers is no longer the company I enthusiastically…read morereviewed below. I don't know if Scoop Soldiers was recently bought out or if something else changed behind the scenes, but with the number of service-degrading changes that seem to favor the business instead of the customer, I think I smell private equity in the poopy water. Whatever happened, this is not the same customer experience I gave five stars. The direct, effortless communication I praised below is gone. Communication now seems to run through a centralized call center. The people answering are friendly-ish, if sometimes frazzled or irritated, but often can't resolve anything themselves. They contact someone else, who contacts the local team, who gets back to them, who gets back to you. Something that used to take one text or call is now an extended game of telephone. If you even get the call back. Which you're probably not going to. Then there's the customer portal. The portal is horribly designed and frankly always has been. I promise this isn't a technology-literacy issue. I can provision a hard drive while walking ADT tech support through why that's what needs to happen. I can whip you up a pivot table on the irritation of this entire experience if you'd like. But I cannot, for the life of me, log into the Scoop Soldiers portal a second time after resetting my password. Ever. So I gave up. That mattered less before they moved so much of the customer experience into the sub-basement of hell. The final straw was a cancellation. I had to cancel a visit at the last minute due to a very large home restoration project due to a disaster and received an email saying they'd waive the fee this time, but future last-minute cancellations would be charged. Okay, if that's the policy. Sorry I forgot about the poop scoopers. We've got a lot going on. Except I went looking for that policy and couldn't find it published on their website. What I DID find, in multiple places, was Scoop Soldiers advertising "no cancellation fees." One page literally says: "And say goodbye to restrictive contracts and cancellation fees. We believe in giving you the flexibility to manage your pet care needs with ease." I've included a screenshot. If there's a separate fee for canceling an individual visit, clarify that. Advertising "no cancellation fees" while enforcing a cancellation fee is unnecessarily confusing and creates angry customers like me who are now shopping for other providers. And honestly, the fee isn't even really the point. They waived it. The point is how much the service has changed. The flexibility, direct communication, and "you just don't have to think about it" experience I praised below were why I gave Scoop Soldiers five stars. They still pick up the dog poop, and the actual yard service has generally been fine. But Scoop Soldiers used to make an unpleasant household chore disappear. Now managing the company that makes the chore disappear has become its own chore. That's a pretty significant downgrade from the company I reviewed below.

Their voicemail is full and no one responds to texts or FB messages. I'm having to report this as fraud or cancel my credit card at this point which is fucking annoying. Also, we cancelled because the Tech was a no show a handful of times and/or came on unscheduled days (not due to inclement weather)that he announced literally an hour or less before showing. So not only was I not impressed with the shitty service but I've been paying for the non-existent shitty service for months now. I feel like I would be forgiving and totally ok if the recurring payments were a simple mistake but being ignored after repeated attempts to contact them is straight up FRAUD. Don't hire this business. *Update: Someone finally responded after I left the above review in Google confirming "they had reached out to billing"..unfortunately 100% do not trust this business and am going to just report the payments as fraud to my credit card company. I should have read the Yelp reviews before hiring as it looks like my experience is not unique.

(Update: called me and told me I was a loser for leaving this review. Nice.) Update: contracted conjunctivitis (eye infection) Terrible cut- I asked for face, stomach and sanitary. The groomer shaved a single patch on my dogs chest, and a single patch on his rear (doesn't even cover align to his anus for pooping). Scissor cut on the stomach left most of it in patches and the hair that were cut were still hanging on to the other hairs. Not even to mention the face, a four year old could have at least covered it uniformly but there were random strands that were inches longer than the rest. Overall terrible experience, when I asked for a refund they told me no because my pet wouldn't hold still (he does fine at krisers which I guess I'll be going back to on Monday to fix the atrocious mess)

She does a happy dance in the car when we start to get close, and happy cries whenever the workers meet her at the front door. It's absolutely precious. She literally will run to the door where they let her back and wait until they let her in. My dog is a huge baby and can get overwhelmed. Whenever she's nervous she will literally come to me and want me to hold her like a child. The fact that she runs to the door practically jumping out of her skin out of pure excitement (instead of cowering next to me) speaks volumes. She LOVES the staff. Speaking of the staff, I'm pretty sure they know every dog by name and it blows my mind. But you can tell they truly love their job and all the pups they get to be with. On top of everything else - this is our first daycare where the dogs are out playing all day. We've been to others where they have "rest time" in the kennels. It's 100% worth every penny to me that my dog is constantly playing. She's a 3 year old border collie that needs all the playtime she can get and more. Highly recommend!!
