Here comes the invaluable part- they know how to handle unexpected situations. Most recently one of my pups got into something she shouldn't have. Deanna notified me immediately, sent photos of the "crime scene," and sent me information on whether it was harmful to her. After we determined that my pup wasn't in any danger Deanna and crew got to work on cleaning up the mess. Who do you know that would do that? Now you understand why Kind Care is indispensable. One final note. I tried the doggy day care option before and didn't like how they would come home dirty, smelling like urine, or that they wouldn't eat while I was away. We are SO fortunate to have found Richard from Catify My Home. It's not that often you hit the jackpot from a Google search, but we did with this one! Our cats Canvas and Ophelia love their uncle Richie! There isn't enough time to write how vastly different, and better, Richard is from your typical app cat sitter. Any previous cat sitter would stop in, scoop the litter box, refill the food, add water, hang out for 10 minutes and then leave. With Richard our cats get so much play hunting time and lots of affection. His drop ins are 90 minutes and this includes ensuring the dry food is full, cleaning the litter box, refilling the water bowls (which he also cleans), and vacuuming around the cat area. It doesn't just end there, he also brings our trash to the curb if he's cat sitting on a trash day, brings in our mail or any packages, vacuums the areas where he's playing with the cats, and I'm sure there's more I'm missing! We used to come back from time away and dread getting home because of the cat duties...cleaning up the scattered litter/food on the floor, washing water bowls, emptying the litter genie, etc. with Richard, all of that is done for us! We simply come back home to the happiest cats. He will send A TON of photos and videos to show updates. He truly loves cats and understands their behavior. He was even able to get our younger cat (who is skittish and typically hides from strangers) to start coming out and playing with him. Also...he is extremely reliable and doesn't treat cat sitting like a side hobby. Previous sitters wouldn't always send updates and a lot of time we would have to check in with them to see if they were still stopping by to check in. With Richard we know our cats will be well cared for. Every time we are away we tell each other how lucky we are to have found him. Catify My Home is simply the best!!

I had an appt at 10:30 and even confirmed via text the day prior. She called at 9:20 to say she had a cancellation and would be at my house earlier than my scheduled appt. She showed up at 9:30 before I could even respond. I was at an appt where I could not answer my phone so we were playing phone tag in between me seeing the dentist and me checking out of my appt. I told her I was on my way home. I got home by 10:10 and waited for a while. I checked my security cameras and she had left almost immediately after I texted her telling her I would be home soon. She just left! No notification, nothing. I called her to ask where she was and she texted me back around 10:40 saying that she couldn't wait because she had other clients to do. But I had an appt at 10:30! I moved my day around this appt and then she lied to me. I was home on time and she totally blew me off for other jobs. That is so unprofessional and disrespectful. They lost a client that day. I had soooo many times they had to change my appt or had to cancel due to being short staffed, etc. I was always flexible and kind. I don't know why I was treated like this but feel I had to say something. Sorry guys but you dropped the ball.

I had a sitter from this service (WR) watch my pets from 11/22 to 11/25. I paid for 10 visits…read more Upon my return on 11/25, I discovered that the paper in my parakeet's cage had not been changed out at all and it was wet. This bird had a health condition, so being left in filth and wet did not help (.she passed on 11/27). The paper in my other bird's cage had not been changed. Additionally, he barely had any food in his dish; unusual as this was early in the day. I took my dog out into the yard to discover that the sitter had not cleaned up any of his poop under her watch. I contacted WR by text and she admitted not changing the cage liners. I told her how detrimental this was to birds to be kept in a filthy cage and told her to return my house key, which she did. On 11/30, I made a call to the owner, Lesley. Lesley returned my call a few hours later, and was clearly put out in doing so. I told Lesley about the bird cages and my bird passing. She did not express any sympathy. She kept saying she would need to speak to WR to see what was going on. I told Lesley I asked WR for my key back and she did not even try to keep my business. I also stated that my pets did not receive 10 visits; maybe there were 8 or 9 at the most. Additionally, I left an undeserved tip for WR that was not even acknowledged. Lesley has not offered any apologies for this terrible, overpaid service. If you care at all for your pets, do not use this company.
