I signed up for service on their web portal. They let me pick the day and how many times a week. I picked Wednesdays and 2x a week. I got an email saying they would be out on Wednesday 10/11/23. Great! I got a text today saying they will be out on Friday if that works for me. I texted back saying what their email said and I need Wednesdays as Thursday is trash day and I don't want it in my garbage can for a week, stinking it up. They informed me Friday was the only day they serviced my area. They sent me the text below. I complained how they were misleading. My account was promptly canceled by them! Since this guy said i was selective in my messages, I added my responses that got me canceled. There was one more telling them to FO after they canceled me. I was pissed. I've been using Poop 911 for several months now and the service has gotten worse. It started off well with the first guy that serviced our home. The guy that is currently servicing our yard is there for maybe 3 minutes total. There is always some poop left behind and it's starting to get frustrating. I understand small pieces not being noticed but it's clumps together that are being left. Also, the constant change of service days and last minute changes is annoying. read more

When I lived in Renton, I had great service from Poop 911. Not so much since moving to the Kent/Covington area. I called the company to tell them about the fact that the person was here for five minutes, which included some time spent in his car. I know exactly how long he was here because we have the Ring security cameras that record motion. We have a timestamp that says when he arrived and a timestamp that says when he left, with recordings in between. I called to let the company know about it and asked to be reimbursed for that day's services. A manager or supervisor was supposed to call me back but never did. Nor did we receive a credit on our account. Just a charge. The next week, it happened again, only this time the person only stayed three minutes. I called to complain again, and still, a manager did not call me back. Nor did we receive a credit. I feel ripped off. We canceled our service and still, to this day, have not received reimbursement for the two times the person spent five minutes or less here. By the way, we have 3/4 of an acre. There is no way that a person could be finished in that amount of time. There were piles of poop that he missed. I do not recommend this business. These people are a great service! I have a wonky gate and they always make sure they close it carefully so it latches. I don't care when they come during the week as long as they show up. Best decision we've made in a long time. My husband works full time, and I'm disabled. We are trying to minimize chores and this service takes a MASSIVE load off our backs. They are so nice and communicative. Our dog seems to want to spend a lot more time outside now because the yard is so much cleaner. We don't have to run out and scoop as soon as the lawn guys come anymore, which is embarrassing. It's well worth the price for the weekly service. Highly recommend THIS specific company. We put in for a quote for their local competition via email because you had to "contact for pricing". They called and called several times a day and evening even though I asked them to stop calling because we hired someone else. I finally had to block their number and emails. That kind of aggression doesn't bode well for me. It was worse than a condo salesman! Poop 911 Seattle didn't HIDE any fees and was totally straightforward on everything. Steve is the best. We have been using the service for years. We have two large breed dogs and a yard that requires a tractor to mow. He is great with the dogs and is really cool to chat with. Scheduled date was not correct and the website doesn't have an option to cancel. The cleaner was onsite for barely 10 minutes, and did not clean even half of the backyard. Total waste of money. The fact that it is impossible to get someone on the phone and the online portal does not have a way to cancel the service is extremely shady. read more

Don't do it. Wish I would have come to Yelp first, these reviews are spot on. I am sure the job satisfaction is (pun intended) shi**y in that field, but that shouldn't be the customer's problem. Steve makes it the customer's problem. Never again will I use this company. After weeks of fighting with my child about chores (hers being pooper scooper of the back yard... small space, 2 dogs) I decided to sell off some of her belongings and pay a company to do it. Sadly, this company was a disappointment from beginning to end (1 service, completed on a different day than I requested...) Guy came a day early (no call or anything just randomly showed up) spent about 20 mins and left without a word. My husband went to check it out and was upset to see only about 60% was even picked up and he stepped in excrement that was dropped by the guy on his way out. I called and got no repsonse. I emailed and got Steve. Politely explained what happened and asked if they were still coming the next day, giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was a two step process when it's been a few weeks. Steve responded that he spoke to the guy and was shown scratches on the guys legs and snags on his pants apparently from my yard?? He also mentioned the guys last day is Friday and Steve himself is picking up the route and he's not interested in scooping a yard in "that condition". My response was that I felt I dodged a bullet after looking at Yelp. Been using service for about 3 years now but over the last couple months I have been being over charged and no one has come by and picked up the poop in weeks. Than theyy won't show up again and I'll still be charged and they are impossible to get a hold of. I turned my sisterr on to them couple months ago and same thing happen with them actually they haven't showed up at all and they have been charged for 3 months. Complete BS. I signed up for poop pick up services from poop911 on September 14. I immediately reached out to poop911 (literally within 5 minutes) and told them I wanted to switch the services that I selected. I originally selected the option that I have two dogs and I wanted service twice a week with an extra deodorizer add on charge. I wanted to switch my account to I have two dogs, I wanted service only once a week and I want the deodorizer done once a month. I received email confirmation from Steve Howard saying he would update my account that same day. The day of my first service my husband was home, spoke with a woman, and confirmed that we wanted service only once a week. She said that we could only get service once a week because she was only in our area one day a week. We started noticing that poop911 was still coming twice a week. I reached out to Steve again via email and I told him that my account was not updated. I have an email from him dated September 22nd saying that he would make sure my account was updated and would credit my next two services. A week goes by and I see that I never did receive my credit for two services or my account to be updated for the future service. I reached out to Steve on September 27th and told him my account was not updated or my services credit. As of October 1, I have not received a response. I emailed poop911 to close my account effective immediately, today October 1, 2019. read more

OMG why didn't I check here first! I have the same problem! I signed up for the service online, but was never contacted before my scheduled service appointment. Someone showed up while I was gone and picked up some poop, but not all of it. Our HOA provides lawn mowing for our tiny back yard and they wouldn't mow two days later because of too much poop. We have 2 chihuahuas under 8 lbs. You do the math. So then began the phone calls and emails trying to get anyone to call me back. Nothing. I contacted their corporate office as well and nothing.
